I was disappointed when I was told 1 hr and 20 minutes, but was seated 2 hours later. The food was okay, but not great and we walked out after paying our bill 2 hrs and 20 minutes later. However, this was with the drink and meal orders taken at the same time because I knew we would be waiting a LONG time.

Other then our server, this was the MOSTHORRIFIC experience I have ever had as a Landy Select Member. Hostesses were beyond disorganized. They took my ticket and then asked me 6 times what my name was. LSC must not mean anything to these ill trained hostesses. In case you don’t know LSC stands as the designation for Landy Select Club. Then as a select club member, the hostess sit us on the main entrance isle when half the restaurant was empty. I had hostess butt in my face, almost had my foot run over, and kids running back and forth on the isle. Thanks only thing worse I guess would be being seated next to the men’s restroom. Oh and my view of the themed restaurant. … gift store. So the manager comes over and doesn’t even ask how our expense is … which has been standard practice for the last 4 years I have been a member. My husband had to stop him and let him know. His solution punish the one desent thing our waitress by… now moving us once we’ve ordered and our appatizer is at the table. Great managerial technique. Oh and he’s going to talk to the awful hostesses… which leads us to the hostess butt in my face. He stops the hostess in the main isle to talk to her… her butt a foot from my face and eye level may I add. The only other thing he says to us is… your food will be here shortly. I want Landry Select and members of Landry Select to skip Rainforst. Go to T Rex. You will be treated a lot better there. Rainforest Orlando does not represent the Landry Select Club in a positive manner. I dare say they are a blackeye to the organization.

The Rainforest Café use to have a location close to home for me, but closed several years ago much to my disappointment. So when we arrived at Disney Springs and saw the café, we just had to dine there for the mere nostalgia factor alone. We ordered steaks which were perfectly cooked, flavorful red mashed potatoes, and flavorful shrimps and veggies! Save room for dessert; the volcano lava cake is to die for! I may be biased on how much I enjoy this place :) We had a 7:30 reservation, but ended up arriving early and they accommodated us right away which was a pleasant surprise! If you’ve never been to the Rainforest Café, you’re in for a treat! It’s such a unique and awesome experience! Children and adults alike will love the atmosphere.

We had a 4 o’clock reservation. They suggested stopping in early so we got there at about 340. It might be a business strategy because they got one of our phone numbers and said come back when we text you. So we had time to look around the shop connected to the restaurant. We got seated fairly quickly after getting the text to come up. We needed a few minutes to look over the menu but our server was really friendly and was quick to get our waters. The alcoholic drinks didn’t take much longer than the water which was nice. I got a caronarita which is a frozen margarita with a small bottle of corona opened and stuck down into the glass. It started out tasting like I was drinking only corona or only the marg, but got really good when I got down to levels where they had mixed more. The only complaint id have about it is they put it next to other drinks on the menu that cost 9.99 in the same size. It ended up costing 13.99 which I suppose makes sense since I got the small carona bottle which is like another drink, but they should specify on the menu that they’ll charge you more. That wasn’t cool. My sandwich was delicious. It came with grilled chicken, Swiss cheese, lettuce, and a spicy ranch sauce. I ordered it without bacon and peppers that normally come with it. The chicken was juicy, the bread was warm and crispy, and none of the other ingredients were over-powering. Granted I wouldn’t have paid the 16 or 17 bucks it cost anywhere besides Disney where I have no choice, it was still really tasty. I did order mashed potatoes as my side and they brought out French fries with my sandwich, but I just went with it cause I was hungry and it’s not like I don’t like fries. They were okay. Good seasoning but they were a little light on it. I liked how our waiter brought water refills without us asking. He also checked on us a couple times but not too frequently in my opinion. So id say this place isn’t a must, but if you don’t mind spending a little money it’s a decent change of atmosphere.

We stopped in for a quick bite and a cocktail after a tiring day. Once we were seated, my wife spotted a cockroach crawling across the floor, right in front of us. When she explained this to management, they asked her to describe the cockroach. Once she did, they tried to convince her that it was something else. Whatever. Any thought of food was shot after this episode, so we moved to the bar and had average overpriced cocktails while the bartender tried to flirt with my wife in front of me. This place was pretty crappy, and I wouldn’t recommend it unless you absolutely had no other options. Even then, I’d probably tell you to go somewhere else.

This place is getting three stars based solely on service. Our waiter, Taylor I think was his name, was so annoying we almost left halfway through the meal. Firstly, it took him almost 10 minutes to get to the table to say hello, and when he did he wanted drink orders and food orders all at once. Hard to do when he was the one who had to bring us menus to begin with. After another 20 minutes, he returned with menus, and wanted food orders. We ordered an appetizer, and he rudely asked ‘that’s it? for the whole table?’ and I answered, for now, yes. We’re not in a rush and we’re here to enjoy ourselves. He brought the app, and we placed our lunch orders. We asked for buttered linguine noodles with a chicken breast for the little girl at the table and he said he didnt know how to ring that up. Blink Blink. Ok. I said ok, I’m sure the manager can help. He said he didn’t think so. I said this is in Disney Springs, I’m sure we’re not the first table to ask for something a bit different for a kid. He shrugged and continued. As we waited all our drinks became empty. He brought the food along with another server and did a ‘drop and dash’ we had to flag down another server for condiments and refills. We had taken two or three bites when he came around asking about dessert. No, thank you, we’re not even done with the meal. He came back 2 minutes later and asked again. No, thank you, we’re not finished with lunch. He left with a huge sigh. When we WERE finished, he came back with the check. We didn’t ask for it. We still had plates in front of us. I kindly asked him to take it back, and remove the plates. He said well you didn’t want dessert. Well, I WASN’T FINISHED! I have never felt so rushed! He removed the plates, and put the check down again. The little girl with us had seen the volcano dessert and wanted one but at this point why? We asked for some refills and when he brought them back he said will you be splitting the check? We said yes and went back to our conversation. About 2 minutes later he came back and said you told me you were splitting the check and we’re doing a shift change so can I cash you out? At this point we were beyond aggravated. Our conversations kept getting interrupted, he kept sighing an drolling his eyes every time he came to the table, we were ready to just not see him anymore. So we gave our cards and paid and left. We ended up going to Ghiradelli for dessert and had a great time there. It’s really unfortunate his service was so terrible because the food and the ambiance were quite nice.

The wait for this place is always ridiculously out of control, but you can always sit outside which is a sit yourself kind of deal and in all honesty I rather sit outside. Outside is quiet unlike inside, it’s packed and noisy, also outside you get a great view. My boyfriends burger was low in quality in comparison to its $ 16.99 price tag. My ribs were deliciously but also a little over priced at $ 28.99 I guess this is all due to the location of the restaurant. I have absolutely no complains on my server though, he was quick and precise. Over all this is an okay establishment it’s themed which I loved and friendly just a little hurtful on the pocket.

This place has a very cool atmosphere, but it is way overrated. We were here on April 18, 2016. The wait was horrendous, the service was super slow. And the worst part was out good was ice cold, not even slightly warm. The server took it back to heat it up, and come back saying, «be Careful it’s piping hot now!» It was still cold. So we were extremely disappointed and paid $ 170 for a family of 6, to top it all off.

After a long day of Disney adventures, we decided to dine at Rainforest Café for dinner. While I’ve dined at a few Rainforest Café locations, I was especially fond of this one due to its cool exterior! Located in the back of Disney Springs(if you enter from the garage OR at the front if you enter from the pedestrian walkway), you really can’t miss the volcanic structure standing taller than any other building in the area! In addition, this location features the«Lava Lounge» which is a lakeside/outdoor area that serves the same menu with small differences(or so we were told) with a view of a colorful resort to the right. A bit of advice before making your way to this location: Plan accordingly! Upon arrival, we stood in a line of roughly 10 families just to simply put in our name! With that, you have time to review the menu offerings as the queue forms between two 5ft menus. I personally felt that helped to pass time. We were quoted a wait time of an hour &40 minutes and were handed a chit showing the guaranteed time you’d be sat by. And, the estimated time was accurate. So in essence, put your name in first and then explore Disney Springs! When they take down your phone number, they explain you will receive a text when they’re ready for you. From there, you are instructed(via text) to stand in one of two lines(Elephant OR Gorilla) to be sat(a second hostess stand). I couldn’t conclude any rhyme or reasoning regarding the differences of the two lines, but they moved at about the same speed! Our server’s name was Lewis. He greeted us immediately with a smile that will be hard to forget! Given my parents are from the Midwest and quite typical to their usual routine, I asked Lewis to walk through the rib prep in great detail to convince my mother she will be happy with her decision. She doesn’t like dry-rub or overly flavorful ribs, she doesn’t like fat or minimal meat, and she doesn’t like ribs she has to work for. But on her side, Lewis pointed out the ribs were«St. Louis style» so how could she be disappointed? He was ridiculously patient and honest through the ordering process. I would say the food ran a bit longer than expected, but it would be hard to complain if you knew how many covers this place does in a day’s time! The food came out by swarm service and was presented as beautiful as ever! Colorful dishes hot out of the kitchen are the absolute best! My meal was slightly custom(I really wanted their Pastalaya but expected it to be more spicy than I was interested in that night). I asked Lewis for a side of his Garlic Alfredo/Cream Sauce and it was brought out per order specifications! I was thoroughly happy with my dish! It was filled with three sorts of protein and a hearty helping of vegetables! But I can say the dish is not for weak taste buds! I could still taste the fire through the special cream sauce! My husband LOVED it! Overall, dinner was fantastic thanks to Lewis! I mean obviously the kitchen did well too! Haha! If you have time, be sure to stop in!

A lot of fun. This is obviously a theme based restaurant. It dos not disappoint. All will be impressed. Unless you are a Scrooge. The food: Burger: very good Coconut shrimp: good with a mango BBQ sauce with a hint of cumin that was great. Onion rings: very good. Cheesecake: great Enjoyed being here. I am giving 4 stars not because it is a gourmet restaurant, but it knows what it is and has a lot of fun being it!

Took an Über to Disney Springs to catch a ferry three stops to the restaurant… in the rain. Food was delish. Drinks were on point. Very unorganized check in process for reservations. Too many lines going in too many directions. Beautiful aquariums. Interesting animatronics. Pretty dimly lit. Server was standard. Bill was ridiculous. Family was satisfied. Not so humbly submitted, King Michael C.

I came here with my boyfriend for dinner at downtown disney. This place was so nice and looks so awesome with the lava flowing out of it. We ate at the lava lounge portion because the main restaurant is so always so crowded i didn’t even want to try. However, i legit enjoyed my experience at the rainforest café. Our server was so nice and the food was great. We had the quesadillas and the bbq bacon cheeseburger. The décor of the restaurant was beautiful and i recommend this place.

While shopping around Disney Springs we stopped here for lunch. If you’ve never been here before, you need to go at least once. I will say this location is very busy all the time. The one located at Animal Kingdom I don’t think is as busy as this one and I’ve found the employees to be a little friendlier. The whole restaurant is decorated like you’re sitting in the middle of the rainforest; lots of vines, flowers and greenery. Scattered throughout you’ll find animatronic animals and huge fish tanks. While you’re there, you’ll experience thunderstorms where the restaurant lights flicker and there are loud thunder claps. Kids will love it! On this particular occasion we put our name in and was told it would be a 30 minute wait. That’s not bad cause you can use that time perusing the gift shop that’s packed with clothing, jewelry, stuffed animals and assorted oddities. They call you to tell you you’re ready to be seated over an intercom that makes everything sound like the teacher from peanuts. So when we get up there, the girl says she didn’t call us, we literally turn our backs and she calls us. Then you wait in a line for your server to take you to your table. If you don’t want to wait for your name to be called and then wait for a server, skip this and go sit at the bar. For lunch I ordered one of their specials, the paradise trio. It was made up of ahi tuna, coconut shrimp, grilled chicken & pineapple, white rice and broccoli! It was a lot of food!!! But I have to admit it was delicious! Everything was so good. My family all enjoyed their meals as well. My cousin got fish and chips of all meals to get here and he loved it. Especially their mashed potatoes! Our server was great too and I appreciated him spending a few minutes to talk to my cousin. The only complaint I had was how long it took to get our food but that’s normal here considering how busy they always are.

The last time I was at this location was around 1998 when I was 15 or 16. It was amazing. Now that I’m in my early 30’s its not so amazing, but still a fun experience. On this latest visit I wanted to try one of their signature cocktails. I was a little indecisive so the server made a suggestion. I don’t remember what the cocktail was called but it had coconut in it. I don’t like coconut. The server assured me that you can’t taste the coconut. I could taste the coconut. The drink was not good. The dining experience here is fun. The servers are dressed up in a safari get-up and as the name of the restaurant suggests, the whole place is decorated to make you feel like you’re in a rain forest. Periodically the animals around the restaurant move and make noise and a simulated thunderstorm rolls through which makes all the animals go crazy. Good times for the kids. The food is not spectacular by any means. Its very basic and the quality is about what you’d find in your average family restaurant. Think slightly above cafeteria quality so that they can pump through as many tourists as fast as possible without making people feel like they’re getting fast food.

My boyfriend and I stopped here after an amazing day at DisneyWorld Magic Kingdom on a Saturday. We checked in at the front and they told us it’d be a 30 minute wait and they’d text us when a table was ready. We walked over to the Lego store to look around to pass the time and after 20 minutes our table is ready. I had never ate inside a Rainforest Café before, but I remember as a kid visiting the gift shop and being jealous of the people eating there. The ambiance and environment was really cool. They had simulated ‘thunderstorms’ every so often, where the animatronic animals(elephants, gorillas, etc. came to life). There were giant fish tanks all around the restaurant with cool salt water fish. The workers would yell«VOLCANO» every time a volcano brownie was brought out. It was great! As for the food, it was better than I expected it to be. Usually places that focus a lot on their ambiance tend to be lacking in the food department, but that wasn’t really the case here. The Ahi poke was very good, but it could have used a few more chips – only came with 5. The Taste of the Islands platter I ordered had scallops in this amazing seafood sauce that I used to dip all the rest of my food in. So creamy and delicious. Mmm.

This once enjoyable themed dinner experience has taken a turn for the worst. The quality and choices of food on the menu are minimal at best. Our recent visit at Disney Market Place was not well received by any of us. Despite having a reservation, the wait was long, the initial service greeting rushed, the delivery very slow, & a less than appropriate finale.

Stopped to have a quick bite in Downtown Disney. We found the Lava Lounge, a little outside patio which is part of the Rainforest Café. The Lounge had a great view of the lake and of Downtown Disney as well as the fireworks from Epcot. We were seated immediately and the waiters were great!!! Fast service and very attentive. We didn’t eat anything too special, 2 side salads and an appetizer platter to share but it did the job.

We LOVED the Rainforest Café! My fiancé and I visited for dinner when we checked out Downtown Disney during our recent visit to Disney World. I had previously visited the one in Vegas and had really enjoyed it and figured it would be a fun place to visit with my fiancé as well(and it was his first time visiting any Rainforest Café). Make sure to get reservations, as this place gets packed. We had 9:45pm reservations(after a day at Epcot and Magic Kingdom). I’m so glad we did because even with reservations, we waited for about 10 – 15 minutes for a table. We were seated near an elephant, which occasionally opened its eyes and made noises. Very cute! I loved the ambiance — very lush and green, with tons of rainforest animals like gorillas, elephants, toucans, etc. And they have a really fun«thunderstorm» show as well, with a pretty sky on the ceiling. The food is quite tasty! I ordered the Jungle Steak and Shrimp as my entrée, which came with char-grilled flat iron steak, topped with butter and paired with shrimp scampi and Caribbean coconut shrimp. So many noms go to this dish! My fiancé ordered the same thing. And that focaccia table bread was delicious too! Definitely order the tropical drinks — SOGOOD! I ordered something of the mai tai variety and it was SUPER delicious. And you get to take the glasses for the drinks(with a Rainforest Café logo on them) home for free! SWEET. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful and efficient. SUPERFRIENDLYSERVICE. We loved the Rainforest Café all around(this was an even better experience than the one in Vegas) and I would certainly love to visit again, in Downtown Disney or elsewhere!

Aparentemente, toda criatividade ficou no resto do local. A primeira vez é divertida.
