We got a last minute reservation for dinner for our family of four, and had a great, relaxing dinner after a long hot day at the Disney parks. Kids loved their meals, and adults loved their meals and drinks. Service was a bit slow but it was nice to sit in an air conditioned place at least! Cocktails and desserts were my great — and we all loved the chips and salsa whole we waited for our meals.

Ate at many restaurants in Disney and La Hacienda was my least favorite. I had requested a table by the window but we got the first table as you walk in the restaurant which is under bright lights. They refused to dim the lights. The waitress was not particularly friendly and the classic margarita had almost no flavor. The food was very good although we had to wait almost an hour to get it. On a positive note I left my iPhone in the restaurant and the next morning I went to lost and found and it was there. Would not eat there again.

After a long day in the park, this restaurant was surprisingly good! Not just saying that because we were hungry — it was actually really good and the service provided by Gina was exceptional! The margaritas were really good, the guacamole was good and the main dishes were great. We got the La Hacienda plate for 2 and it was an assortment of meats and chicken. The chorizos were really tasty. I thought any food in the park would be mediocre at best but La Hacienda proved me wrong. Highly recommended!

We ate at La Hacienda last weekend. We made a reservation for a table for 12 at 8:30pm before Illuminations 180 days in advance. The host gave us the Option of waiting for the group of 12 who looked like they were leaving(and estimated a 30 minute wait), or said we could split up and sit immediately. We opted to wait and sat about 15 minutes later. Illuminations was delayed by lightening until 9:53pm anyway, so it worked out. We had the best view possible, sitting at a long table along a bench that led up to a tall window. We also got a peek of what I believe was the Star Wars fireworks in the background. If I ever bring another big group who wants to see Illuminations all together, I would definitely bring them here. The music was piped in and the lights were dimmed as the show started. We had a great view of the fireworks, the other pavilions, and the globe. Also, we got to wait out the storm in dry, air conditioned comfort. The windows were even beautiful with the rain streaming down them. The food was excellent. Some of our group ordered a full dinner and some just had appetizers. Nobody was made to feel bad about not ordering a full meal. We split guacamole and chips. Other food included corn soup, various margaritas, shrimp over guacamole appetizer, short ribs, and, shrimp tacos. The staff was fantastic. We felt bad when we looked up and realized that we were the last ones left in the restaurant. As we rushed to pack up, nobody ever rushed us. Everyone was incredibly gracious.

Guest relations was able to squeeze us into a table so we could celebrate my finances 30th birthday. The young girl outside… well she had a little attitude. But once we were inside everyone was insanely friendly. They brought us to a «special» table overlooking the water and the waitress was extremely attentive, but not overbearing. The host even pulled out my chair. The inside is beautiful right down to the menus and I really felt like I might have been in Mexico. The prices were pretty high, especially if you are there with your family and you don’t get much food for the price. However, we both left feeling full and we wouldn’t have been able to cart around leftovers with us anyway. My favorite part was the Avocado marguerites. So, so unique and so, so delicious.

Just finished a weekend at Walt Disney and La Hacienda De San Angel made my trip and engagement an unforgettable one. Made reservations and emailed management(Thru Unilocal) about my engagement plans that weekend. When I arrived they had a window seat for two for us to enjoy the fireworks show at Epcot that night. Management pulled me to the side and made me aware they received my email and were ready to make my day an unforgettable one. We discussed my plans and at the end everything came out PERFECT! They even gave us complementary dessert and champagne on the house to finish out night. The food was also delicious… they greet you with a warm mountain of chips and two sides of salsa’s. We ordered an appetizer of chorizo gorditas and they were amazing. Our dinner was a platter for two and it was more than enough food for us to enjoy. Great place and will definitely visit again.

Not good for little kids(babies & toddlers) at dinner time. Can’t bring in strollers so all the little ones are having meltdowns or the poor parents are taking turns schlepping the kids in and out. My husband and I didn’t even get to eat together… We live in LA so Mexican is affordable. The entrees are super expensive here for what you get. Not worth the money. Better to eat casual food in the pavilion. Hope that helps. What is impressive is the view of the water & the fireworks. Bottom line: over rated, overpriced, not baby & toddler friendly when they are exhausted & parents need some time to unwind.

I’m still not sure how I’ve been to Epcot multiple times and never eaten here before! I’d made reservations for 8:15, in the hope that we’d be seated at a window and would get a prime view of the fireworks. They said they would try, and seated us at a booth with a pretty decent view of the lake. Our server was busy(Fernando or Francisco?) but very friendly. They have a separate vegetarian menu, that has a few options. The enchiladas and guacamole are highly recommended, as is my mango jalapeño margarita! 3 minutes before 9 our server rushed to our table and hustled us and our food to the window table with arguably the best view of the lake. The fireworks and the food made for a magical night! A huge thanks to our sever and the rest of the team at the restaurant for making it a memorable experience.

Being my first time in Disney World, I had no idea what to expect from the restaurants in the parks. I was extremely glad to have found this place! The mountain of tortilla chips, the great flavor of Mexico, the great service, all with a stunning view of the lake. This was the icing on the cake for my week at Orlando. Came here for my last dinner at Disney World and what a meal it was. Surprisingly a lot of food when you consider the chips and the sides. Even with so many other restaurants that I haven’t tried in Epcot, this place will be hard to overlook on my next trip.

We went back a few nights later, and again, didn’t regret it. My friend got the avocado margarita again, and loved it again. We got the guacamole, the crema de eloté, the pan-seared snapper, the sirloin, the queso fundido and two flans. Everything was good, but the crema de eloté was mind-shatteringly amazing. I didn’t know soup COULD be this good, and I am a devoted soup fan as well as a New Englander, so I know good soup. My friend and I are currently raving about how unfair it is that we have to wait until the next time we go to Disney to return to this soup, so creamy, velvety and perfectly balanced at the crossroads of heat, sweet and savory. The flan was another home run. I personally think that on this night we had the best soup of my life, as well as the best custard-based dessert. It was tremendous. We walked away stuffed and talked about it all night. Our server was wonderful, too. Marigel. She was terrific, very friendly and responsive. We’ve got reservations again for tonight! We want to soak up as much Hacienda as we can before going home.

The flavor of the food was pretty good but everything we ordered was served cold. The first queso fundido(melted cheese w chorizo) was a block of formerly melted cheese. It’s replacement was pretty good but I had no idea there was actually chorizo in it. My sirloin medium rare was served rare and cold. I ate it because we were 80 mins in but you expect a warm steak for 38 bucks. Chips and salsa were solid and margaritas were solid. We booked months in advance to watch fireworks. I could not see them at all but the rest of the family enjoyed the show. They added 18% tip to our bill so watch for that.

I love this place so much I actually went twice in a week because I had to share how great it was with my friends! The best time to come is around 8pm or later and ask for a seat by the windows so you can watch the Illuminations fireworks. They dim the lights and play the music throughout the restaurant, it’s really a treat! The service was very good both times, we really loved Fatma, she was the best! We got the sharable seafood dish«Del Mar» it was excellent. And the most recent time I got the Pan Seared Snapper, it was also great. The refried beans and rice for the table are awesome and unlimited. They also have unlimited chips and salsa, yum!

Price: It’s not too pricey however the food itself isn’t that great. Taste: The food is alright, it seems like they try a little too hard to make it fancy and over the top. I had the chicken with mango or something like that and it was average. My cousin had the shrimp tacos and they tasted alright as well. For average tasting food like this you’re better off spending your money elsewhere. The menu they have is pretty small in my opinion they need to add more items.

Great sit down restaurant at Epcot. After a long exhausting day at Magic Kingdom, we wanted a place to sit so we can finally rest. Epcot has some of the best dining experiences in all of Disney World and La Hacienda was in the South America section of the park and resided in a pyramid! La Hacienda did not disappoint and they have a huge dining area inside and can easily fit large groups and parties. We ordered their tacos platter and was satisfied with the portions and their salsa and chips were also delicious. La Hacienda has a great view of the Epcot lake and the wait staff were super nice, like every single Disney worker! Definitely would love to come back when I visit Epcot but there are so many places to try, definitely explore when you get here.

Dining in Epcot many times before, we went to try La Hacienda which is a newer restaurant in the Mexico section. The view of the World Showcase Lagoon where Epcot’s fireworks are on each night was great. Our waiter was nice although at times a little MIA but brought it back at the end of our meal with some surprise birthday desserts that include churros so I was happy. My avocado drink may have been my favorite part of the meal though. It was a margarita like drink, but they included avocado blended in and it was on point! I would have had five more but that would have been a bit obnoxious. The shrimp tacos were good, but myself and another in my group who also ordered felt a little funny after dinner so that was disappointing and hopefully only a fluke but you’ve been warned! The guac was good but not great and we tried both types they offered. Two others in our party ordered the brisket entrée and they both said it was tasty as well, so overall a good meal. Can’t go with great but again in Disney not too much can be bad!

First, let me say our server deserves 5 stars. She was awesome and made this night so special for my two sisters and me. Thank you Nayaly. As far as food, we were not that hungry as we stuffed ourselves eating around the world at the Food and Wine Festival so ordered appetizers and desserts. The house salad was delicious. Empanadas were good, but a little dry. Dessert empanadas were excellent. Margaritas were creative and good. Will have to return for an entrée at some point as I’m sure they are good. Again, thanks Nayaly for being so friendly and fun.

I need a 6th star for this one! A friend of mine took me here for a birthday dinner and it was fantastic! First, the food. The restaurant serves a complimentary basket of chips with two types of salsa. Although that was tasty, we ordered a guacamole appetizer to accompany. The guacamole has an excellent flavor and perfect consistency — a great way to get started. Since we couldn’t decide what to order, we ordered two entrees to share. I got the Carnitas Yucatecas. The pork is extremely tender and the seasoning excellent. I highly recommend this dish. I also liked having a little leftover guacamole to add to the tortillas. My friend got the Costillas en salsa de Chile, which are braised short ribs. It is this dish which made my friend decide that she was never leaving the restaurant, determined to reside underneath our table and die a fat, happy alcoholic in a state of euphoric bliss. It is this dish that made me wake up the next morning trying to remember the last time I had a meal that good.(I finally came up with Stella in New Orleans Memorial Day weekend in 2006. In short, I had to go back nearly a decade and this meal was much less expensive.) I just can’t recommend it highly enough. Next, the drinks. The menu has six different margaritas on it and we managed to taste all of them. The Rosita Margarita is light and refreshing, the perfect start when you’ve just finished a full day of Epcot and are tired, hot and ready for a respite. The Avocado Margarita was also excellent. It is thick and creamy and would actually be great partnered with an appetizer or two if you wanted something light instead of a full entrée. Finally, they serve some sort of creamy margarita with a sweet flavor that would be perfect paired with dessert. I actually asked the manager to spell the name of it for me and still can’t remember, but I’m told it is a traditional Mexican drink. Fantastic! Finally the service. We had come by in advance and requested a table with a view of Illuminations and they did not disappoint. We were seated at a small table with a window looking directly onto the show. What a special way to end the night. There was a small wait for a table, but it was fun just to watch Enrique flawlessly orchestrate the seatings in a packed restaurant while still checking in with guests to let them know about how long they would be waiting. Our server Jesus was very pleasant and professional. He has that special knack of knowing when to appear without being intrusive. The manager Stephen came by a couple of times to check in on my birthday dinner and made us feel truly special. It was the perfect end to a perfect day!

Olé! Excellent food and a great escape from the typical Florida weather with exquisite table service, prompt attention, yummy & delicious Mexican cuisine, and a truly amazing backdrop which heightens any food lovers experience. Enjoy carnitas(tacos de carne) and a glass of cerveza with Mayan ruins and lush jungles illuminated under the stars. Enjoy the amazing menu selections and authentic Mexican dishes with a touch of American flare. Yums!

I’m a repeat visitor to La Hacienda de San Angel, and there’s a reason for that: the food is really good! It’s more of a high end Mexican restaurant(don’t expect your standard burritos and enchiladas here), and the prices definitely reflect that(plus it’s Disney!), but it’s a wonderful choice for dinner in the World Showcase. La Hacienda also boasts excellent views for Illuminations, Epcot’s fantastic fireworks show. If you’re lucky, you will be seated near a window, but there are windows across the entire restaurant, so you should have a decent view regardless. I’ve tried several margaritas off the menu, and enjoyed them all, from the Mango Blueberry Basil, to the Orange Mango Fire and the Rosita. Tortilla chips and two salsas begin your meal, and black beans and rice are also provided with your entrees. The shrimp tacos are super popular and delicious, but I also have enjoyed the tilapia dish as well as the Carnitas. Honestly, I’ve never been able to finish a meal here because I always get full, so in the future I’d consider sharing an appetizer and entrée to ensure food doesn’t go to waste(especially since it’s so expensive). In any case, I highly recommend dinner at La Hacienda de San Angel(it’s not open for lunch) if you’re visiting Epcot. I plan to return yet again :)
