I love it when they have their live entertainment outside. Its a great ambiance with a nice décor, a couple of drinks, and relax. My husband and I had a good time since they played music from our college days like Dave Matthews Band, Green Day… It was our lucky day!

I dropped by here for a quick drink while I was in Orlando. A PBR is 5.50…a PBR… They jack up the prices like crazy because this is right near the resort. They have a lot of space and there are warm tiki torch like things so it was fine during the month of January(60ish degrees out). We came too late to listen to music but we had fun hanging out. Nachnos were good but if you would like to get a buzz plan AHEAD of time. P. S. They close at 11 :(.

Awful service. Had made a reservation hours before we arrived and still had to wait forever. Avoid this place. And on top of that after we actually ate we had to wait forever for waiter Jason to return to our table with our check. Could have easily dined and ditched and should have.

Good food, good service! Diane rocks! We visit every time we come to Orlando and are never disappointed. If you go between 3 – 5 pm its happy hour. No wait and they have drink specials!

The shrimp and grits were awesome however the bathroom was absolutely disgusting. The first three stalls had urine on the seats and only one of the faucets were working. After persevering to find a clean seat I was completely blinded by the lights beside the mirrors. I couldn’t see for 15 minutes afterwards. I don’t know if the manager bought the wrong wattage and just went with it or if they think blinding their customers with the brightness of the sun will keep them from noticing the urine soaked nature of their facilities. If you visit try to avoid thinking about how bathrooms are a reflection of the cleanliness of the kitchen and just enjoy the meal, I guess

Awful experience overall. Terrible customer service. I expected so much more for it being my first time at the house of blues. Will not EVER be returning unfortunately.

I had such a good time here. That might have more to do with the band than with the venue. I did appreciate the bayou feel to it. The eclectic patchwork of Southern artifacts peppered throughout. The rustic wood flooring, the bar with painted sugar skulls and various quirky altars. The one over the stage read«Unity through Diversity.» If you buy tickets for seating rather than general admission, you get a great view of the stage and chair side service. No need to head to the bar, wading through the crowd to get your drink on or wait for your food. It’s all whisked straight to you. It might’ve been the smothered apple(fireball shot and Angry Orchard) that had me groovin’ on the street fair fries and Mac n Cheese. I liked them plenty. Prices around $ 10 for anything but it’s Disney after all. The Mouse don’t come cheap.

My son and I stopped in for a snack while shopping at Disney Springs. Very cool vibe, excellent service and some darn tasty wings! My poor 19-year old son looked on with envy as I drank an ice-cold Blue Moon in between spicy Jamaican jerk wings. He’ll get his turn. The ambiance is very cool. Lots of jazz and blues memorabilia adorned the walls. There was an amazing coffered ceiling with the faces of music legends carved into it. We were too early for live music, but there was an awesome stage in the center of the dining room. I bet it is awesome in full swing.

Excellent dinner. This was the night right after a very expensive and underwhelming dinner at the yacht steakhouse. Great server, sorry, I forgot her name — she kept sayin y’all! I had the NY strip steak, honestly, better tasting and way better cooked than the yacht club. Also, 50% less expensive. Wife had salmon, it was good. My son had build your own burger, cooked perfect and was tasty. My daughter had chicken quesadillas, she said they were good, a lot of food. Really should have mentioned this first, this was Christmas week, busiest week of year. We were sat 5 minutes after checking in, right on time of the reservation. I do not review often but since this was the best dinner of the week, they deserve my time in writing the review. We will be back in April!

I have to say, this was an all round great experience. Booked for 6pm on New Year’s Day, a super busy night. Was seated within a minute! PJ was our server and was great. Very helpful with his recommendations and not pushy or rushing us. We had the Shrimp & Grits and the Buttermilk Southern Fried Chicken with mash and coleslaw. The Shrimp & Grits, as PJ recommended, was something you wouldn’t have too often(def not in Australia) so I picked that and I have to say, it was sensational. Spicy and tasty. The chicken, as again we were told, was a big serve — and it was, we took 3 out of 4 pieces with us in a doggie bag! I have to say, after eating in plenty of Planet Hollywoods, Hard Rock Cafes etc, I wasn’t expecting much, but I would never have guessed it would be this good. Can only recommend!

Very disappointed with the service. Sitting listening to servers bitch about those they serve is not ok. I ordered my favorite buttermilk fried chicken and I got a half fried chicken(way to big) sometimes bigger is better but this was nasty! Hardly any gravy! Just a fried half chicken(bland) Update your menu and state it’s half a chicken with bones and all! Taste bland too. I ate my child’s fried chicken because that tasted ok. All my reviews but one have been 4 or above this is the worst meal I can remember and I travel a LOT! I spoke to Jessy the manager to have her consider ensuring folks are warned about the poor description she didn’t seem to bothered and said ok vs. sorry. High traffic equals zero interest in making it right. Due to her response I shall be reaching out to the GM and requesting a full refund!

This is a review of the concert venue, as I have not eaten there before. I’m really impressed with House of Blues. The place is clean, and I’ve never had to wait in line for the ladies room(even at a sold out show) which is rare. The bathrooms are well maintained, and I don’t feel claustrophobic at HOB like I do at some smaller venues. Now that I’m getting older it’s nice to stand around a clean area and have a place to set my drink down and not worry about being bumped into. lol! I was surprised that the drink prices weren’t astronomical — $ 7 for a Jai Alai and $ 7 for a Rum & Coke. I was expecting ballpark prices but they really weren’t bad considering we were on Disney property. Thank goodness Disney Springs has that awesome new parking garage, because we were able to park right nearby and feel save about leaving our vehicle. There’s always a great show coming through town.

Good location– only went to their store for their merchandise and I am happy to say that I actually found some discounts. They had some shirts on sale and was able to get 2 as gifts. The staff was helpful and polite. Good spot.

Awesome restaurant, ok service, decent food. Recently visited House of Blues and was impressed by the restaurant design and ambiance. Great place for live music! I ordered the meatloaf and would probably try something else next time. My wife tried a burger which was excellent. I’ve also had the fried chicken and would not recommend it.

This was my favorite meal in Disney. We arrived early for our reservation and immediately posted up at the bar where I practically fainted with delight over seeing my beloved Yuengling is the lager of choice. We had a beer and then were seated. For apps, we ordered chicken wings(5 per order) and cornbread. Both solid choices. For my entrée, I was dying to grub out on their jambalaya. The dish brought the heat in all of the right ways! I opted to leave out the shrimp and didn’t feel like I missed out. This is a large, hearty and zesty entrée that most people will not be able to finish. My only complaint is that our entrees came out as we were not even halfway done our apps. We were seated next to their stage and you can tell that this is a nice bar to watch a live show. This is a great place to eat and I would definitely dine here again!

A Bud Light costs ten dollars. That is my entire review. I am required to add more text, which I will do by elaborating on the number of dollars a Bud Light tall boy will cost you at the music venue. The number of dollars is ten. Ten is the number of dollars, and the number of dollars is ten. Nine is not the number of dollars, nor is eight. Eleven is not the number of dollars, unless a tip of one dollar is included in the figure. The number of dollars for a Bud Light is ten.

Certainly not my favorite place to see a show. The interior layout is good if you want to drink overprice beers but terrible if you actually want to see anything. As a shortie I am used to this dilemma but even my tall husband couldn’t see in this awkward setup. Bummer! We relocated which helped some but there really is no hope unless you wait in line before doors open and stake out a spot inside. Hard to do when they open at 6 and you have to try to come from work down I4. To make matters worse, the sound is often too bass heavy. So you can’t see and your ears are in pain. I love music and I love concerts but this place does not do it for me.

I ate here once before about five years and wasn’t enthused by the food then but I have to say I enjoyed my second trip better. I came for a concert(Motorhead) and wanted to eat before the show with my friend. I got there first so I put my name in and the lady said it’d be about 50 minutes but I was seated in about 35, so that was nice. Next our server was really great. She said she was new but was excellent at her job and insured that our drinks were filled and that we were very well taken care of. I got the BBQ bacon burger because when you add some of my favorite things like bourbon caramelized onions and bacon you get my attention. The burger was pretty good, not amazing or anything but I did enjoy it. My friend got a grilled chicken sandwich that has avocado and she also enjoyed it. Good food, alright prices since it is affiliated with a theme park it’s a tad more expensive, but not by much. All in all a good time and Motorhead was AMAZING!

I really like this venue. If you have a concert to attend, then it’s good to eat here before the concert. A $ 20 tab will allow you to get in the early admission line before the concert. From experience, if you wait to line up when doors open, especially for a big name performer(like Colbie Caillat), be prepared to wait in a line that wraps around the back of the building at least half down the strip. It was ridiculous! Though it’s big inside, the will pack this place like a can of sardines. It will get hot upstairs and downstairs and bathroom lines are horrible(mainly womens). So, the wait at the bar won’t be wonderful either if it’s packed. We haven’t eaten here in years, but I do remember their Rosemary Cornbread! OOOhhh yum! I’m not usually a corny kinda gal(don’t like corn dogs, corn tortillas, hush puppies, etc), but this changed my cornbread state of mind. The bread is so moist and the flavor is corn with a hint to rosemary. Slather some of the extra butter on it!!! It’s almost cakes like, I think that’s why I like it so much. Their patio is great for getting drinks if you want to sit outside or stroll around Downtown Disney Springs. You can order at the bar or someone will wait your table(may take awhile). Drinks are ok at most. I ordered a fruity drink to feel refreshed and my husband just got a beer since it’s a tad pricey.

Solid 4 stars. This place is pretty hidden in Downtown Disney. It is all the way in the back of West Side and it’s the farthest restaurant from the bus stops. However, if you can hold your hunger, this place is worth a try. My boyfriend and I ordered the Motown Mojito to start. We’re not big on drinking while eating, so we only ordered one. The drink is really delicious and you get a souvenir mason jar as well. For our main course, we ordered a full rack of ribs, which comes with coleslaw and baked beans, and a side of mac and cheese. The ribs were so delicious, they had a tangy, smoky BBQ sauce that was a tad bit sweet as well. The full rack was big enough for us both. The beans were also really good. They were a bit spicy, but I like that. Coleslaw was good as well. The star of the show is the mac and cheese. The cheese was perfectly cooked, not too sticky, not too watery or runny, just perfect. The breadcrumbs on top was the icing on the cake. Overall, had a great meal. Ribs were amazing and the mac and cheese is just the best. Cocktail dims are good, but are a bit expensive($ 16). Would come back if I’m in Disney again.
