One of the better quick snack options in Magic Kingdom. There were 3 different speciality waffle fries to choose from. Each option comes with a side of fruit. Could be cheaper, but $ 8 for speciality fries is typical Disney pricing.

Looked up a bunch of places for hubs to enjoy some junk food he likes while at Disney. The waffle fries here had rave reviews on different blogs I read. They were out of the sweet potato nuggets which I wanted to try and they were sold out of all fries but the BLT. Hubby enjoyed these a lot though. They were about $ 8 an order. He got the bacon on the side in case our vegetarian kiddos wanted to try them. They gave him TONS of bacon. Much more than you would get ON the fries so he was a very happy camper. We got plain waffle fries and they were delish. Hot and crispy. Enjoyed with some lemonade. Nice little snack. We sat on the concrete bench to the right of the shack in the shade after the fantasy parade so that was nice. Would come here again for these yummy fries but lower stars for poor planning and selling out. Whah.

This is nice little place located behind Pecos Bill. Pecos Bill is always jammed so this is a good place to get away from the crowd and enjoy a tasty little meal. Waffle fries are the specialty and I ordered the BLT Waffle fries. As the name implies there is Bacon, Lettuce and wait for it … tomato on the fry and it has a ranch dressing to help it along. The waffle fries were overcooked but that worked in its favor as the toppings softened them up and made for a tasty bite. Good place in a pinch if you have hunger pains.

I loved their dishes! It’s cleaner then most places. You can taste they don’t reuse the oil when making fried food… And the seasons is perfect! My guest all enjoy the good. We even ordered more! Disney is doing its thing!

The food was great, good selection of drinks, everything was fast, But we got there around closing time on the night of nov 25th, last night actually and the guy cleaning up let us know that according to him we were not supposed to be there, kicking chairs and throwing stuff, really RUDE, My kid got scared. No nametag on him.

Great place for a quick snack while meandering around Adventureland/Frontierland in the Magic Kingdom. Located on the path between Pirates of the Caribbean and Splash Mountain this snack hut offers outdoor seating and a limited menu: fries with a variety of sauces/toppings and/or chicken nuggets, cookies, and drinks. That’s all folks. That being said; it’s a reliable place to snag a quick bite to keep you going on your Magic Kingdom hike. I’ve seen others complain about the price, but come on, it is Disney after all. We had the Brown Gravy & Cheese Waffle Fries(the Frontierland version of Poutine) and we left happy and ready to tackle the next attraction.

The fries with cheddar and gravy are as good as it gets! This place is a hidden gem. I would eat a thousand orders of these if I could.

These fries were amazing! For starters they were waffle fries so it was nice to have a change. I got the BLT waffle fries and they were so good, we are already talking about how to make them at home! I even ate the scraps at the bottom of the container! My fiancé had the brown gravy and cheese waffle fries and he loved them! They tasted great and the fries were cooked just right. The servers we had there were also very friendly.

Horrible food very dried out all the food is cooked Early in the day and then left under warning lights to serve as the day goes on by that time they’re completely burnt and dry.

Had the pulled pork fries. I said I didn’t want the carrots or apples and they only cost 6. Bucks instead of 8 and some change. It gift it was a solid snack

As a frequent visitor to the park I really enjoy grabbing a snack from Golden Oak, as luck would have It I got to try both the BLT fries and the Poutine ones, I ordered one and ended up getting the BLT ones for free simply because the person in front of me wanted them without ranch and they put ranch on them, as someone who’s visited Canada a few times I really appreciated that Disney is using actual cheese curds. And for the BLT ones the bacon was nice and crispy which had me sold there. Hopefully the waffle fries hang around awhile because it’s a nice filling snack. Also the addition of fruit is a plus

These fries are awesome! Wish we could have tried all 3 flavors. This trip hubby and I tried the pork and slaw fries. Small portion for the price but it’s disney lol. Stays open late, was worried they’d close early since its a snack spot. But if you want a lite lunch/dinner/snack golden oak outpost is a wonderful option! 4 stars because of the seating area, bugs everywhere. No shade either. We were lucky the sun already had set but grab a seat somewhere else when it’s blazin. Pecos?

Great snack if you are looking for something different. Tried the BLT waffle fries, which was okay but I don’t think it was worth the price of $ 8. It was like eating a hamburger meal without the burger. lol I do like the coating on the waffle fries which made it crispy and seasoned. Even for the price I may want to try the others ones anyway…

Used to be fantastic. They had this fried chicken sandwich. Now they’ve recently changed the menu and it is lackluster at best. Almost gave it a 1 star rating. Go to Pecos Bills or to Tortuga instead.

I am not at all impressed with Disney food, but the Outpost is the better of the bunch at Disney World. Three of us ordered the chicken flatbread sandwich totalling $ 26.97. It was good and felt healthier than some of the other choices at the Magic Kingdom but not worth the price – but at Disney you are stuck. The apple chunks are bitter(not sure of the preservative but ehh). Three large Cokes cost us $ 7.47 and two orders of chicken nuggets $ 14.18. We spent a total of $ 61.15 for 5 items and 3 sodas.

Not one of my favorite places to grab a bite inside The Magic Kingdom, but the chicken sandwich is pretty good. This is a perfect place to grab a bite for your little ones because they offer chicken nuggets and you can please just about any child on the planet with good old fashioned chicken nuggets! For the adults in the group, I’d suggest Pecos Bill which is nearby.
