I have been using Botox for about 7 years now. I have always appreciated that it works so well to get rid of my wrinkles. But I did not like that my eyelids would droop once the botox took effect and I couldn’t move my eyebrows. I was going to a plastic surgeon for my botox but then a friend recommended Dr Perlis. I am absolutely amazed by the results. She is truly an artist and well trained so my results now are no more wrinkles and no drooping eyelids. I can move my eyebrows and I just look more youthful. I am convinced that Dr Perlis is the absolute best! Highly recommend!

I am a frequent user of Botox — and only Botox due to the price point of fillers. Well, this time I agreed to the use of fillers — night and day results! What a huge disservice I was doing to myself by not adding in the use of fillers! Yes, there is a higher price point with the volume injections yet it is worth every penny! The fullness and overall contouring of my face — eyes, brows, mouth, lips — what an incredible difference! Dr, Perlis did a fantastic job with no down time, minimal bruising and very little discomfort! What a pleasent surprise. Saving up for the next touch up session!

I don’t often write reviews but I have been so impressed with Dr. Perlis and her entire staff that I thought it was important to share. Her women’s wellness center is the most inviting atmosphere. Dr. Perlis is a compassionate and remarkably talented doctor. She was the first doctor who advised me to take bio-​identical hormones and it has changed completely how I feel. She also performed the most natural looking fillers that I have ever had. Everyone there was welcome and wonderful.

I have been A patient of Dr. Perlis for a few years, and as I always have known of the esthetic services she offers I wasn’t interested In them. Until I met KELSEY. Amazing! Kelsey is honest and straight forward, she respected my choice for products, they do have great products but not in my budget at this time. so many other estheticians want to just sell you a bunch of very costly product! I also really needed a new hair color, image, and she basically redesigned my entire look. Kelsey is an amazing consultant with knowledge and understanding, for her clients. I have been to a number of spas, and estheticians but have never met such a real person. Go see her now!

Dr. Perlis is not only professional and deeply helpful, but also friendly and personable. Her ability to put her client (s) at ease in combination with her numerous and exclusive services puts her ahead of other women’s doctors in the area.
In my many exerpiences in the office, Dr. Perlis has always taken the time to truly listen to what I had to say before making any suggestions or conclusions. Ultimately, Dr. Perlis ensures that her clients revieve the best and most unique treatment by taking the client’s personal lifestyle into consideration as well.
I highly recommend Dr. Perlis at the Perlis Wellness Center in Lake Bluff, IL. Her wide range of knowledge and experience in a variety of women’s health techniques is very refreshing and comforting. There is certainly a service for each and every woman’s needs at the Perlis Wellness Center!

I purchased a Groupon for my choice of chemical peel or micro dermabrasion several months ago and finally redeemed it yesterday.
I was a little hesitant about trying this place because I’d seen a few reviews that were somewhat negative. I am pleased to report that I had a fantastic experience.
Pam provided my service. She greeted me when I entered with a smile and the offer of a beverage. I only spent a couple of minutes in the waiting room before she took me to the treatment room. The waiting area is more like that of a spa than a doc office. It is very comfortable and tastefully decorated with nice art, and «spa-​type» music was playing.
In the treatment room, Pam patiently talked with me about my treatment options. We decided on the glycolic peel. During the treatment, she explained what she was doing and answered my questions about the various products (which smelled great). She used several cleaning and scrubbing products to prep my skin before applying the peel, and afterwards she applied a mask followed by moisturizer (which was applied via a relaxing facial massage) and lip treatment. She was very gentle and did a great job. This felt more like a spa treatment than a doctor’s office visit. She even gave me a light shoulder and neck massage while my mask was working. The entire visit took about an hour, which felt right.
Today my skin is glowing and it looks and feels better than it has in a long time. I am very happy with the results and I will probably go back for regular treatments even without the discount.

Went for a facial using a discount offer I bought on Groupon. Was surprised to see that the MD overseeing this skin care, liposuction salon was an ob/​gyn and not a dermatologist but I guess everyone wants to make some extra money these days! Service was excellent. Instead of the facial I had a microdermabrasion, which my esthetician recommended and which was wonderful. I would go back regularly but am put off by the regular price, which is high. Nice surroundings, skilled employees… but like everything else on the north shore, too expensive.
