5 Stars all the way! When we bought our house in Arrowhead almost 4 years ago we used Travis as our home inspector. He did a very thorough job inspecting the home and really helped us understand things to look out for in a mountain home. Once we were closed and ready to start some improvement projects I interviewed a few local contractors and chose Travis and the Dixon Construction team because of their attention to detail and how easy they were to work with. Travis explains things in a way that I can understand as a non-contractor and that my husband who has contractor experience is more than satisfied with. Now almost 4 years later Travis and his team have done multiple projects in our home from small home entertainment system installs all the way to building a gameroom/gym and adding a deck. We are completely satisfied with the quality and price of his work and would definitely use him again. We can trust him and his team in our home(which is so important when we’re not home) and he really looks out for our best interest. 5 Stars all the way!!!

I bought a house in Lake Arrowhead several years ago; place was in a decent shape, but I decided to have a lot of work done on it, and now it is completely remodeled. Every single project was done by Dixon Construction and I was very happy with their work. They changed the floors, doors, remodeled the bathroom to specific plan that was provided to them, installed new kitchen, built a new deck, installed new heating and air conditioning unit. Work was done on time and always according to specific requests, quality of craftsmanship was excellent and, very importantly, I found the owner, Travis Dixon to be an honorable and trustworthy individual second to none. Highly recommended.

Where do I start. The Water Department called to say we had a broken pipe and they were shutting off our water. I was traveling out of town for work at the time, so I called the DCI team and within in an hour, they were onsite fixing the problem that has no doubt saved us from a potential disaster with much greater costs. The DCI team came up with a great solution that did not break our budget but makes us feel better when we get freezing weather. I highly recommend and trust the DCI team with our home.

I recently bought a four bedroom in arrowhead and needed the inside completely redone. I had a few different contractors come out to quote the job and chose Dixon because of how thorough they were. Not only did they take the time to look over everything, but Tony also took the time to breakdown everything that needed to be done and the timeline for when it would be finished. Over the course their time in my home, everything was transformed. Everything in the bathrooms had to be done from the plumbing to fixtures. Not only did they do this in a timely manner, but they were able to produce a modern design that fit in with cabin style home. Also, Dixon was responsible for re-drywalling a majority of the house. They were able to blend the new and old seamlessly. After, a few coats of paint, it was a new, beautiful home. I gave Dixon a house in shambles and they turned it into my dream home. I couldn’t have asked for a better contractor.

The star should not be given where start does not belong. The level of incompetence and craftsmanship is horrifying. Damaged bath tub in two places, deep gashes by dropping tile, tub spout moves in and out of the wall, consultation with two reputable plumbing companies confirmed that it was incorrectly installed and copper pipe was not fastened appropriately inside the wall so the only way to fixed it is to gut everything out. Tile installation and grout line as crooked as if someone was learning for the first time how to put tile. California Residential code requiring following manufactures’ recommended installation instructions for the installation of Hardiebacker not followed, joins were not taped and sealed only with silicone caulk on question«why» business owner responded«I did not know we should and we always done it this way never had any complaints.» Below is California Residential building code.
