Lake Arrowhead is a beautiful place to grow up, live, and visit. I’ve done all three. If you live up here, the schools are well funded. The population of children compared to property taxes gives for a surplus of funds for the schools(lots of weekend homes with no child attending school). Snow days, snow sports, and water sports are a plus for all ages. The local shops and restaurants are nice. Take the time to visit. They change often because it’s hard to stay in business. Please support local businesses if you can. The 4th of July fireworks over the lake is a great show. I recommend you get to the lake early to pick out your spot because it fills up quick.

Love Lake Arrowhead. It’s a place, I like to go and get lost. The views are phenomenal. It feels like your in a movie. Highly recommend this place!

I rented a cabin for Christmas Day and a few days after. Lets start off with the positive: — Very beautiful. The lake, snow capped mountains, trees, wildlife. Now to the not so good– it gets boring after a day. Since there are no slopes in the vicinity, you’d have to drive quite a bit to go snowboarding or skiing. Also there is a small village with a few stores. I would make this a day trip. If you want a more exciting location, go to Big Bear.
