Had to write this after eating two perfect fish tacos. Marinated fresh fish and a heavenly light sauce covered in cabbage and pico de gallo. Service was very friendly and prices are great! 2 fish tacos for $ 5 on Mondays, $ 2.95 other days. I also tried the ceviche tostada on a later visit and the lengua taco, as well as the chicharron taco. Super delicious, flavorful, and such nice service. Very authentic Mexican and extremely great prices. A really great find on my vacation here that fit my budget and my taste buds. They close at 3pm, so get here early! I’ll be back here on my next trip to Maui.

We stumbled across this truck — across the street from a coffee place — and my husband wanted a snack. He was thrilled — said it was the best taco he’d had in Maui, far better than Maui Taco. His words: «really good, simple, delicious — the essence of a taco.» And you can’t beat the price.

Unilocal led me to this modest taco truck, and I am so glad it did. The food is spectacular! It’s fresh, delicious, and the guy who runs it is so kind.
We loved it so much we came here twice, even though it was nowhere near the hotel we were staying at.
Try their fish and shrimp taco combination. It is to die for!

The BEST BEST BEST Mexican food there is on Maui. It you want real Mexican food, i recommend you go to sonora tacos. The owners are very friendly and sure know how to give customer service. If you’re on Maui you have to taste Sonora Tacos food. Very delicious! Don’t miss the opportunity. Aloha.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised to find a taco stand in Maui of all places (we are from California and spoiled by Mexican food) so we decided to try it out and it was DELICIOUS and flavorful! We ordered a shrimp, asada, and fish taco and immediately I knew that we were tasting some well made tacos! The second we finished them I begged my husband to take us back to the truck to order more because, even in Cali, you can’t find tacos this flavorful and fresh!
The tacos were packed with meat too! Mmmm… I’m so jealous of those who can enjoy this taco truck everyday!
Guille was very sweet and it was clear that making good Mexican food is his passion!

Really good Mexican food!!! The owners Guille & Elsa are such friendly people. We had the chicken & fish tacos & the carne asada burrito. All are awesome!!! My husband, a Filipino, loves loves Mexican food and he grew up on Mexican food while living in California. So when he says it’s good, it has to be good. Oh, and they even have the «orange sauce»!!! Whenever we visit California we always bring back bottles of the «orange sauce» cause no one has it here… But to our surprise Sonora Tacos got the sauce!!!
We are definitely going back =D
