I loved my experience at Na Hoku. I went in to the store to see their waterfall pendant created with Koa wood and set in silver. It was such a striking piece… I just had to buy it. It was a lovely and unique souvenir from my time in Maui. Thank you Kelli for the relaxed and very enjoyable shopping experience. I found all the staff at Na Hoku to be friendly and helpful. And as a bonus… I also got to go to the Pearl Factory to open a complimentary clamshell for a beautiful pearl. Also a very pleasant experience! :)

Stopped by here twice while visiting Lahaina. The first time in the store the salesperson was incredibly helpful and had some great suggestions for engagement rings. 5 stars for her but unfortunately the second experience was not the same. The salesperson was a little on the rude and abrasive side and we ended up not pursuing the purchase here.

Absolutely horrid customer service! My husband and I went in with my sister and her boyfriend, all to try on pieces that we’ve been thinking about. Upon entering the store both sale associates looked up at us, and completely ignored us from there on out; no greeting, no asking if we wanted to try anything on, NOTHING. My husband, who owns three Na Hoku watches, was trying to get someone’s attention to try on two watches that he has been considering purchasing and finally got fed up with waiting while one associate(Anastasia) seemed to be doing her closing counts early and the male associate joked on the phone with someone. My sister and her boyfriend who were hoping to purchase a promise ring that evening was finally snootily asked by Anastasia if there was something they wanted to try on and grabbed the tray they pointed to and asked, «which one was it?». My sister who wanted the particular ring was so put off by her bad attitude that they decided not to purchase the ring from her on principle alone. I got fed up and left the store without even bothering to try on the wave necklace I have been considering. As an owner of several Na Hoku pieces I am horrified at the treatment we received from the associates at this particular Na Hoku due to the fact that I always receive such great service from other stores. I expected the best from such a high traffic store and I don’t know(or care) if it was due to the fact that it was an hour from closing or(the more likely fact) that we are all quite young looking and weren’t being taken seriously by the associates. This experience left such a bad taste in my mouth that I won’t be entering or purchasing anything from Na Hoku for a while and will definitely not be returning to this store!

Kristi was amazing and super helpful unlike the other store down the street. Finding a gift for my boyfriend was incredibly easy and Kristi even showed me locations near my house in California I could go to for re-sizing if needed.

Kristi D.(assistant manager) was phenomenal! My fiancé and I went in to pick out our Hawaiian wedding bands and she was so knowledgeable, helpful, courteous, and patient with what we needed. She has been with Na Hoku on Maui for many years now and her expertise with the jewelry line is clearly evident. The whole selection Na Hoku has(both bridal and other) is beautiful. We got our rings sized in Honolulu and sent to our house back home, in addition to some other koa wood items. We can’t wait to officially be married and wear our Hawaiian rings. Thank you, Kristi!

Enjoyed the experience yesterday. I ended up spending a lot of money for a gorgeous pair of earrings and a lovely necklace. I was assisted by a friendly sales rep and enjoyed chatting while doing the transaction. She was knowledgeable and responded to all my questions. Anastasia, you’re awesome! Will definitely go back.

We have been to 2 Na Hoku’s in the area and they were both great. I think the one on Front Street(this one) in Lahaina had a better selection than Whaler’s Village, but both pretty great. Leah helped me find the perfect Starfish earrings that I wanted. They have a great selection of Hawaiian themed pieces and others as well. I really wanted to purchase more — but alas… We had more vacationing to do! Great experience !

Na Hoku is always a must when we are in Hawaii. It doesn’t matter which island we are visiting, as there are several stores to visit, each with similar, if not identical merchandise. This visit to Maui was no different. While beautiful jewelry is a huge attraction, the thing that sets this store above all others is the outstanding customer service that was provided by Patrick! Our first visit, of many, we spent time looking at various pieces of interest. My son-in-law had promised my daughter something from Na Hoku for their anniversary which was celebrated while we were in Maui. Patrick took the time to show them many different pieces styles and prices of jewelry. There was no pressure of any kind. Not being able to decide, they decided to think about what they liked and come back. Patrick was very gracious and encouraged them to take all the time they wanted. I had lost an earring purchased at Na Hoku while traveling in Laos. I had been told that Na Hoku would allow me to buy a single earring to replace the one lost. Patrick checked for me and placed the order. When we returned, the next day, Patrick greeted us like we were good friends. Ultimately, my daughter got the jewelry she wanted and was very happy. I, on the other hand, got sad news. They no longer had the earrings that matched mine and they would refund my money. I chose to look around for something else instead. With Patrick’s help, I found a gorgeous Tahitian pearl set in a cutout plumeria pendant and some earrings. While there, my son-in-law saw a beautiful koa wood ring that he liked. My daughter bought it for him for his upcoming birthday. It doesn’t matter if you have a great deal to spend or a very limited budget. You can find something that fits your pocketbook and you will be happy. Between the wonderful customer service and the lifetime warranties that go with each piece, how could you not love shopping at Na Hoku? We all left Na Hoku very happy and of course, are already adding to our wish list for the next trip!

There are several Na Hoku locations in Lahaina, but this one has the BEST selection and outstanding customer service. We bought several pieces from Patrick and had a wonderful experience. For our anniversary, my husband wanted to buy me something from Na Hoku. We went in and looked around the first time. I already have several Na Hoku pieces and was not sure what exactly I wanted. One thing that I tried on was a koa wood and sterling silver bracelet with Maile leaves. It was very pretty. I decided to «think about it.» We walked down to the other Na Hoku on Front Street where we had bought items last year. They did not have the same bracelet and the selection was smaller. The next day, we went back to buy the bracelet. When I tried it on, I decided it was too big. Patrick tried to figure out a way to fix it, but could not. I tried on a koa wood and sterling silver Maile leaf pendant and it was pretty… lighter koa wood. I mentioned that I liked the darker wood and Patrick found me one. It came with a standard sterling silver chain that was okay, but I remarked how pretty it would look on an omega chain. Sure enough, Patrick found a beautiful sterling silver omega chain. We bought the chain and pendant for $ 207(including tax). It was a great deal! At the time, I thought a pair of earrings would be nice to go with it. The color of the koa wood in the earrings at his store did not match the pendant. Patrick offered to call around to the other stores and see what they had and we could return after dinner. Unfortunately, he could not find ones of the darker would to match, but I appreciate all is effort in trying. My mom also purchased a couple of pieces from Patrick — a sterling silver flower with a Tahitian pearl and earrings to match. She had gone in looking for a match to an earring that she had lost and while Patrick tried to find one — by contacting Na Hoku headquarters, he was not successful. While in the store, my husband had tried on a sterling silver and koa wood ring. We ended up going back our last night on Maui to buy that for him as an early birthday present. What I like about Na Hoku is that there is something for every price range. We only wanted to spend about $ 200 and found a beautiful piece of jewelry. There were items that were less than $ 50 and some well over $ 1500! Another thing about Na Hoku is that their selection is better than other local jewelers. There is a wide variety of pieces. There are Hawaiian items like flowers, palm trees, sandals, honu(turtles), manta rays, etc. They have pearls, diamonds, emeralds and other gem stones. Whatever you are looking for, I am sure you can find it at Na Hoku! Next time you are in Lahaina, go visit Patrick at this Na Hoku and I know you will find some pretty things and get great service too!
