Maui Family Furniture

I called Maui Family Furniture because we were moving to the mainland and spoke with the owner about picking up furniture. She was very nice and helpful. I emailed her photos of what I wanted to sell, she got back to me promptly with a price, I accepted. We arranged a pick up day 5 days before I was to move to the mainland. He two employees arrived and check everything out they were to pick up and called her. The one gentleman approached me with a substantially lower price that they were willing to pay! I said that I was not quoted but given a price. He proceeded to tell me that she gives an estimate and when they arrive he checks the quality and gets back to her. Basically he tells her whats its worth to them. This was news to me. I explained that we emailed several times and I spoke with her on the phone and this was never told to me, never disclosed. I called her she said she was sorry she gets busy and forgets to tell people that and she could cancel the whole thing if I wanted. I expressed that this was deliberate deception and now that I have 5 days to move, there’s nothing I can do about it. We got screwed.
