The guy here is a jerk, which you would think is bad for business considering he’s in the tourist industry. Be nice and people will enter your store and buy something; be unkind and people will write reviews on how bad your attitude & customer service is. This store is an abomination to how to run a business.
Owner is more interested in the neighborhood stray cats than potential customers. The owners obviously never had children because they just bark rude comments to tourist families outside their entrance.
ZERO stars and can’t wait until I see their going-​out-​of-​business signs in the near future.

On 3÷11÷15 while on vacation we were walking around Lahaina. It was raining pretty good. At one point I needed to wait for my son so I stepped under the awning of the Martin Lawrence Gallery (it was the side entrance). A man that worked there opened the door and said «You can’t stand there go somewhere else.» I was only going to be a moment while my son used the restroom. I only had one small package so there was plenty of room that people could go though to the doors. I am not an expert on art but I am a expert on manners. So this 53 year old grandmother went out in the rain.

I was surprised at how many art galleries were on Front Street. I had not been impressed by anything, until I saw the Murakami’s here. We ended up taking a long time to look at the Warhol’s, Dali’s, Erte’s, and especially the Murakami’s. We spoke to people who worked there, who are obviously passionate about what they do, and they provided a lot of information about the artists and their careers.
My friend’s husband walked in with no shoes and no one cared. Clearly we were not in San Francisco. I was almost convinced to buy a piece, my friend even more so, but we refrained. For now.

This place rocks! They have a wonderful collection from Picasso, Salvador Dali (my fave!), Chagall (sis’s fave) and Kondolova (she rocks!)
The curator was friendly and helpful… he allowed my sis and I to check out the gallery late at night and to see his collection was the high light of our night. My sis was very much impressed and so was I.
If you’re an art lover or wants to see some art after walking around Front St. this is a good stop.
