Good clean laundromat. Decent rates and they have all sizes of washers. There isn’t much seating, but the bench out front was nice and breezy. Looks like this is where the locals come.

Nice enough place to do laundry if you’re a tourist like me. Put in a load and then walk to the nearby Pizza Hut/Taco Bell for a snack while you wait… there’s no comfortable seating at the laundromat except for a skinny wood bleacher bench.

Halfway through our 2 week vacation in Hawaii, we decided to do laundry on the island of Maui. This was an excellent excellent choice! Please make sure you follow all directions to the letter! Please make sure you know which washers and dryers take dollar coins and which washers take quarters, and you will be fine. We had no trouble buying soap, but the Australian couple next to us, indicated they chose the wrong soap dispenser, and lost $ 2, so be careful there…

We thought our cruise had DIY laundry(not), so we were happy to find this option at our Maui stop. The Lahaina excursion from our cruise dropped us off at Hilo Hattie’s, which is 4 short blocks from this place. We had a bag of clean clothes in an hour, although we had to haul it for the rest of our lovely afternoon in Lahaina. The other reviews were accurate on prices, amenities, etc.

Here on Maui, in Lahaina, prices were high and you didn’t get it back for a few days but the results were excellent! I’ll be back.

Pretty good. Seems clean. Safe area. Plenty of locals and travelers. $ 3 for a small load, $ 8 for a huge load. Soap and dryer sheets $ 1/box.

A clean, breezy laundromat with lots of laundry options! Top loaders and small to very large front loaders available. This is a wonderful location and I highly recommend!

Clean, not crowded. $ 3 for a decent sized load, $ 1 for soap. Way better than our resort which would have charged that much for one pair of underwear. Sign says 24 hrs. No where to sit inside except on the tables.

Does the job. Staying at a resort and didn’t really feel like paying an arm and a leg for laundry.

Good decent location from Kaanapali, Westin. There are 3 coin changers, one on Left, dispenses DOLLAR coins only, the other two, quarters. Coin changers take $ 1, 5, 10, &20s. You can buy powder detergent & dryer sheets from a dispensing machine, takes quarters.

Clean place, cheap soap. Easy access. Better to spend an hour and a half here for the cost to wash one item at the Westin resort.

Did laundry here in june 2014. Place was packed and it was decent. Very sad though that this is the only place in a few miles to do laundry.

I found this laundromat online before we traveled to Maui — really one of the few self-serve laundromats around. It’s pretty easy to find and clean inside. It is a typical laundromat offering change and soaps in machines. One piece of advice: look at the machines to determine what coins they accept. I ended up with almost $ 20 of dollar coins and not enough quarters.

Great place to do laundry– all kinds of new machines, front load commercial machines up to 50lbs! … And of course the basic top load washers. Washers range from $ 2 to $ 7 and dryers are $ 0.25 for 5 minutes. Don’t over-stuff the dryers– use 2 dryers for less than half the time and you’ll pay less in the long run, especially on the non-express dryers. A lot of locals use this place, so if you’re visiting, be aware of the busy days/times. It can get pretty packed. I’d suggest walking through the place before settling on a machine– there are so many options! Also, don’t feel like you’re getting ripped off when buying detergent and stuff here– stop by Longs, Walgreens, or bring your own detergent. No sense in complaining about how much it costs when there are so many other places to get detergent nearby! Use your coconut.

Just like others have written, we spent a week at the Westin at Kaanapali and they do not offer laundry service so we came here to do laundry. My main complaint was that I had to load and unload my laundry 3 times before I found a 40lb machine that worked! Either the machines did not accept the coins at all or took $ 2 of coins and then the coin slot would get stuck not work(I lost $ 2). Finally on my third try I fed my coins in before loading it so ensure it worked. Its located in a convenient location with lots of other vacationers doing laundry there as well. Be sure to pack detergent from home if you know you will be doing laundry here. The small boxes are expensive here.

Decent place to do laundry while on vacation. Has a change machine at the front and you can buy detergent for $ 1 per load at the back in the dispenser machine. Did two loads in the top loaders at the front for $ 2 per load. And as per the previous review, used the Express Dryers at the front. They cost $ 0.25 per 5 minutes, but all our clothes were totally dry after 20 minutes. Also, there is a parking lot out front and I believe street parking also for free. Aloha.

Not the nicest, cleanest looking coin-op laundry places but what everyone else has said was spot on. As we were loading our laundry, other non-natives were driving up with suitcases, so other vacationers and found this place as well. Let’s break it down, shall we? If you are coming to Hawaii, chances are you are going to be here for a few days — who flies this far for a weekend? If you are here for a few days, shampoo(especially if you like to shower every day and then again after 5 layers of sunblock at the beach), sun block(cheaper at home!), Listerine, beach towels and a snorkel set if you have one is going to fill your bag past the ‘heavy’ limit at the airport which will cost you $ 90. Forget about all the sets of clothes(and five sets of shoes!) you will need for nice dinners, random adventures and the ones that will come back soaked in sweat and another several layers of Coppertone after a day of exploration and hiking to see all the cool things that Hawaii has to offer. Not to mention Coppertone stains white things yellow — worse the longer you leave it. So we figured we might need to do laundry half way through the trip and thought we’d just do it at the hotel… that was until we found out it was going to be $ 8 per pair of shorts(and we had like 5 pairs of boxers to be done). We were a little sketched out as we drove by but then figured what the hell… Absolutely nothing bad to say about this place(except for the dryers but I’ll get to that in a sec) — for $ 9 we did an entire load of laundry, which was the price for ONE pair of shorts at the Sheraton. We made the mistake of picking ‘Low’ for our dryer temperature, and once the money went in, we couldn’t change our minds. It was $ 0.25 for FIVE minutes for the dryers in the back. Of course after putting in all that money, we found the express dryers in the front. So after an hour on low, of course our load including 2 beach towels was still more that damp, so after another 15 minutes in the express dryers, they were good to go. Long story short, it cost us $ 9 but had we seen the express dryers, it would have cost us $ 5.75 or $ 6. Make sure you bring singles for those quarter machines! The Tide was $ 2.00 for 1 load and $ 1.00 for 2 Bounce dryer sheets. We also dropped our stuff off then took off, coming back to throw our stuff in the dryer and didn’t have any issues. The only thing that stinks was that the washers were so old — they didn’t have timers, so we didn’t quite know when to return, but we set our alarms for 20 minutes and it probably was about a 25 minute cycle.

As another reviewer noted, the Westin doesn’t have laundry. This place is 5 mins away in Lahaina. We did one load, dropped it in, went to the Lahaina Cannery Mall, came back, only took a $ 1 to dry.

Unfortunately, Westin Maui doesn’t have a washer & dryer for guests to use. Luckily, we found this place nearby. My husband & I stopped by here to do some laundry & everything went well. We even got dinner & desert(at Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice — yummy) while waiting for our laundry to be done. To wash is $ 2.00 per load & to dry is $ 0.25 for every 5 minutes. They also have detergent & fabric softener available for purchase. It’s great have while vacationing. :)
