Never coming here again. Not only were my gel manicure nails a bust… lumps, bubbles and bumps. But the second I got there I was rushed to decide on a color on the spot, and worst part is I was asked if I was going to «Mexico tomorrow». Just like that, «are you going to Mexico tomorrow?» I was asked that just as I sat down. I’m Hispanic so the idea that they assumed I would be going to or return to Mexico simply because of the color of my skin because i went to get my nails all done is so offensive!

The absolute best gel manicure and spa pedicure for $ 35. They take their time and do a great job each time.

I feel intimidated walking into a woman’s spa, but at Brilliant Nails & Spa, the owner Kay always makes me feel comfortable. I am an older guy and difficult to give myself a pedicure. Kay and her staff always take good care of me, and do a great job at a great price. It seems that I see more and more men visit so that makes me more comfortable. Kay and her husband run a nice clean and efficient business. I am happy to visit often.

Came in with my best friend who is a regular here. Wanted to try out a new gel design and was brought to Nikki to work on a gel manicure. First off showed her a picture of the design agreed on price and she quickly went on her way. Thorough manicure and even more her designs were precise, clean and gorgeous! Received so many compliments! Hope to be back again soon.

I really enjoy coming here. I even took my husband here. I’ve been here 5x. And I will continue to come here…
The price is reasonable. I usually get all the fixing for my pedicure. Sugar scrub. Massage. Hot Towels. Callous Removal.
I don’t have a regular person doing my pedi. I think they all have been great both male & female.
They are friendly. They are not pushy.
I just get their regular nail polish. I do not get the gel for my pedi. So far they last for a while till I’m ready for another treatment. I go about 1x a month.
I’m very thankful for this place. I do appreciate their customer service and how gentle they are with my toes. I’ve been hurt before at other places. I love this place!

They always do the BEST job here with gel manicures and spa pedicures. My gel nails always look perfectly shaped and painted. We go every 2 – 3 weeks and the owners and their family are the sweetest. Gel manicures are $ 20 and basic spa pedicures are $ 15. Sometimes it does get busy so make an appointment or be patient and wait, however we have never waited more than 10 minutes to sit side by side and get anything done.

After being a loyal customer for several years I have decided to take my business somewhere else. I have been dissatisfied the last couple of visits but wanted to give them the benefit of doubt. What made me angry is when I would go back to have them fix their mistake they acted nonchalant. The owner Kay does my nails and although she does a great
Job she is always rushed and is doing 10 things at the same time as doing my nails. I have spend 2+ hours there just for a pedicure and fill ins. Although I understand this is a family owned business it always made me sad to see her two young babies in the salon inhaling all the chemicals. It’s so busy there it definitely does not
Give you the spa relaxation feeling. I have officially broken up with my long time nail salon and moved on

I have been getting my lashes done here for a couple months now. The ladies here really take their time to make sure that my lashes are full. I know that lash experience can be a hit or miss… But they have been pretty consistently good. I love how they have been so accommodating to my busy schedule.

I love Kay, the owner. She is so sweet and polite. This is my go to place for every gen manicure and spa pedicure. You can’t beat the price and their service is outstanding!

I took my granddaughter in for a pedi and mani. They charged full price for her. No soap for the Pedi, no water soaking for the nails. On my Pedi, the massage lasted less than 2 mins.
My cuticles all tore after the mani. The guy left lotion all over my arm. Did not want to bother rubbing it in along with the oil he put on my hands. But to charge full price for a child and not even provide the same service.

What a rip off. Was not happy all. Unless you have two hours and want to throw your money away, I would not go there.

Just okay service, felt rushed and they didn’t dig under my nails or toenails at all. Left a bunch of gel polish attached/​dried to my skin. Prices are good, but I think I’d pay more for better service. And still skin that should’ve been removed on my toe.

This place is awesome lots of people working so there was little to no wait… I picked a picture of a design I liked and they were able to replicate it and the gentleman I think he said is name is hiroku sorry if I got it wrong spent a long time scrubbing my feet till they were perfect I appreciate attention to detail and he gave me his time to make sure I was happy … the prices are nice not overpriced like a lot of shops in south county I refuse to pay 65 for a pedicure which is what most expect for scrub gel and design here it was 35 I was so happily suprised. I have found my new shop and am happy to say bel-​age finally has some competition these guys are great at designs.

Nice people, nice place just extremely disappointed with the outcome of my manicure. I am just leaving the salon and my French looks like it’s dripping, lopsided and filled with bubbles

UPDATE: when I got home I noticed a lot of bubbles and smudges in the gel color and the tips weren’t fully covered so some of my natural nail is visible rather than the gel color. I think that they do a good job overall, but the fact that they try and speed through each customer to take in even more customers they can’t handle is a bit disappointing. It’s been over a week and they are still holding up OK, but the bubbles are still visible. Definitely not the worst experience for gel nails I’ve had, but as much as I like the owner and husband the work could have been better if they didn’t have to rush so much.

I’m not sure what the purpose was of the response to my review however, I have NOT been back to this salon, the owner has NOT apologized for my experience, they obviously still have no idea what PROFESSIONALISM is since they can’t even address the inappropriate behavior that occurred when I was there the last time and my nails we totally sub-​par quality! Thanks for posting your irrelevant response to my review though. Let me know when you’re ready to correct the problem and I might consider coming back.

Update on my review: came in & had nails redone, faster this time, nails look amazing like the last time, enviornment calming & tranquil, nail design gorgeous but on both hands this time, over alll lovee it. He really did try his best with me, i cant complain, even with my nails., or lack there of.
We had an honest conversation about my nails, and had done research and educated me on other options for my situation., options included silk wrap and another type i csnt remember, im praying these last. Im almost confident they will. He added opi nail bonder and another glue to make sure they stuck! Thank you ;)
Update: again not even a week went by and same old story. I ended up buying superglue to keep them on longer. (Sigh). It is what it is. I won’t be getting acrylics anytime soon after this, maybe pedicures might be a different story.

This review is strictly for the nail art and nail designs. I walked in and didn’t have an appointment, however I was greeted right away by Hiroki one of the owners of the store. I explained to him that I wanted to get some flowers on my fingers and hello kitty on my toes.
He sat me down right away and started to use his own acrylic paints and paint brush to make the hello kitty design on my toes.
He was steady and worked diligently to create the designs I requested. He took a lot of time with detail and creativity. In the end, I was very pleased with his hello kitty artwork and flower designs.
The shop itself was not that relaxing. It was old, rundown, and cluttered. It was kind of hectic and disorganized. I could see that a few ladies next to me were getting frustrated with their service. However, Hiroki took very good care of me during all of the chaos. I would choose to come back solely for the nail art.
They have really affordable prices! I spent about $ 28 for all of my designs.
