I just brought home a Churizo and egg burrito and bit into a screw! Hurt my tooth! Not a happy camper! I called to complain to the manager she said that there isn’t one there to call back tomorrow! Nice!!!

I visited the restaurant with a couple of friends after being recommended by a friend. The interior of the store is alright and has a self-serve coffee station if you want to refill your coffee. The food tasted bland and honestly seemed like something I could’ve made at home.

I have been to this place at least twice last year. Its pretty decent food especially getting a breakfast meal in the early PM.

I have been to teds place a few times now and thought I should write a review. To start off, the most important part, the food is amazing the breakfast is out of this world as well as lunch and dinner. Very helpful and polite workers. Helped me understand the menus and combos etc… The only problem with Ted place is that it is always busy and some times the food takes a while, but most of the time I get my food right away.

I must say I take my hat off to all of the employees at this wonderful little establishment! The way they keep their cool and maintain their ‘A’ game in customer service when there’s a line right out the door never ceases to amaze me! Everyone is unbelievably welcoming and I must add their food is delish. Large portions, more than reasonable prices and outstanding customer service! I’m sold!

WOW! Simply delicious food and satisfying service as well as overall experience here. I’m confident that every customer agrees with the positive vibes of this cute little joint. Almost every single item on the menu is mouth watering! The food is very well priced for what you get and the employees and overall customer service are superb! Ted himself is a very nice and sweet man and I think what makes this place so special is noticing the hard work, dedication, and passion that both Ted and Athan put into this business. These men are known because of their fiery and charismatic personalities and their love for food! Keep it up boys, we notice the hard work, passion, and love you have for this place and the food NEVER disappoints! Ps: the pancakes are fluffy and PERFECT, to say the least. Also, they really nailed it with the Greek salad’s very simple, yet delicious ingredients.

I myself am a huge breakfast person and the breakfast at Ted’s Place did not disappoint. I’ve tried the pancakes, waffles, breakfast burritos and I have left satisfied every time. The weekends can get a little crazy so I would recommend trying to avoid the weekend rush but even if you don’t, the food is well worth it. Great job! Not many family owned breakfast joints like yours around anymore.

Amazing breakfast burritos. Almost like the classic ca burrito but with hash browns instead of fries. The only complaint is despite asking for the hash browns to be extra extra extra well done they are always raw inside. It might be the biggest shame of my life.

Warning! They now close at 8 pm. Their website says otherwise, but we’ve been greeted by a closed location a couple of times this week. Staff confirmed it tonight.

Super busy but super worth it! It was so tasty served warmed & fresh. Hot fresh coffee served & hot chips & salsa while you wait. Came in on a Sunday morning @ 10am & got a table right away. I have to admit it was packed but we got our food within reasonable time. I ordered a bacon, eggs, pancakes w/side of hash browns. So so good. I was craving pancakes & they definitely made them perfectly fluffy. Boyfriend had the mushroom burger. They serve lunch, breakfast, dinner, Mexican food, salads. I will def be back & try the whole menu this time.

Came here last night for a drive through order and got the wet carne asada burrito and burger combo. The beans and rice were horrible that came with the burrito and I took a bite and almost broke a tooth on something hard that looked like a spice or pea so I didn’t finish the rest of the burrito. And within half an hour of both my husband and I finished eating we both felt sick to our stomachs and we’re in the bathroom all night long so we got some form of food poisoning from what we ate here So we will never come back to this place again. See why it’s not very busy.

I like going here for breakfast. Their food is tasty and large portions. The morning staff has always been friendly and helpful. I like that they have a drive thru because it can get hard to find seating sometimes. The only bad experience I’ve ever had there was a night I had gone through their drive thru and I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with chili cheese fries. It was 45 minute before they closed on a slow week day. The cashier and cooks were visibly annoyed by my order. The cashier/person who took my order was rude too. Beside that I like the place I just think twice before going there late for a burger. I recommend: Pancakes, eggs, bacon, hash browns, bacon avocado cheeseburger and chili cheese fries.

I came here last night around eight looking for some place I’ve never tried before. I came upon Ted’s Place and thought I’d give it a try, not even knowing what kind of food they served. Went to the drive thru, to see typical American foods alongside Mexican dishes as well. Lots to choose from, but I didn’t want anything elaborate, so I ordered a 1/3lb burger combo(which comes with fries and a drink) and for kicks, I ordered chips and guacamole, just to test out their guac. Now I didn’t mind the wait, since it’s not a typical fast food joint. I finally got my order, paid around $ 14, and went on my way. When I got home, I found no fries were given to me with my order… and sadly that’s what I was craving most that evening. Very disappointed. Luckily their burgers were a hefty size and had a decent taste, but seriously… how could they forget the fries?! The guacamole tasted good, but when I was given the container, it was about halfway filled… also disappointing. But hey, not many places can splurge on avocados… Probably won’t go back, it’s nothing to get thrilled over, or recommend. I mean I can get the same sized meal from Wendy’s and for sure will have my entire order there for me, it’ll even save me a few bucks!

I’m torn between my mind telling me no, and my body(stomach) telling me… Ted’s! If you’re looking for high calories and high taste content, then look no further! I’ve had two meals there. One was a breakfast burrito, which was good, but had a little too much hashbrowns for my taste, but the meat and eggs were delicious. Now, today, I had a the Pastrami sandwich and a small Onion Rings! Both of which are made for Paul Bunyan, but I absolutely destroyed them. If you want great fast food, and don’t want to be disappointed, go to Ted’s.

***BUYERBEWARE*** This review is a matter of business ethics and principal. If you are buying a burger combo— They will charge you a standard hamburger combo price as a base… THEN… Wait for it… you will be up charged every add on(I.e. Avocado, Cheese, bacon etc) My avocado bacon burger was $ 8.49(base combo price) Add $.75 cheese Add $ 1.75 bacon Add $ 1.25 avocado =$ 12.24 combo!!! (And this is before tax, tag and license– Because after all the options I felt like I was buying a car!!!) This makes no sense… They should have a button that adds on your discounted combo fries/drink to whatever burger you are buying. Which I calculate is $ 3.50 ($ 8.49 burger combo price — $ 4.99 base burger price = $ 3.50) They SHOULD charge– Whatever burger you choose + $ 3.50(fries/drink) THEYSHOULDNOTCHARGEBYBUILDING A CUSTOMBURGERONTOPOFTHEBASECOMBO! By doing this they are double dipping the customers. There is about a $ 2 discrepancy in the favor of the store. I know it seems petty. Yes, I can be petty, that’s not the point, it’s the matter of Business Ethics and it doesn’t seem right. Even after trying to explain it to the cashier, she said«I don’t know»…“it’s still cheaper than buying it individually“ Then proceeded to give me the«stank eye» the entire duration of eating my meal. I can’t imagine how many thousands of dollars were skimmed from customers with this process. Nathan — I challenge you to correct this epic operational failure and apologize to all your customers. The fix is simple. I look forward to having to revise this review from your pricing correction. Until then, it remains a 1STARREVIEW as of 11÷1÷15.

Stopped in here for breakfast after hiking one Sunday morning. It was really warm inside the restaurant… as well as outside. I ordered a breakfast burrito and it was pretty good. The signs regarding«seated service» were a little confusing. You order at the counter, and then your food is brought to you. You dont sit and order at the table. The cashier was having trouble with my credit card, and I ended up getting charged three times for my meal. I had to dispute two of the charges with my credit card company. She said the problem was my card, however it clearly wasnt. I wasnt all that impressed, not sure I will return. The coffee is also self serve — in the corner by the registers… also not clearly explained and if you want a refill you go get one. Just seems odd to advertise table service… if there really isnt much of that.

I don’t know what Ted is thinking but I went through the drive thru this morning for a breakfast burrito. After I got my card and the receipt $ 10.20WTF??? Yes I had bacon and sausage but that’s NO excuse!!! I had a BETTER burrito at Mr. Pete’s in San Clemente a few days ago with EVERYTHING on it, the grand total with tax $ 6.47 So maybe Ted you ought to consider not overcharging for a breakfast burrito that wasn’t even that good to begin with. I’m curious, it was an additional to add sausage. Would it have been less had I asked for no avocado? So in conclusion, Ted’s place is way overpriced and the food isn’t that good. You get 1 star because I have to give it.

Done with Teds. They keep raising prices(at least $ 1 per item) this last time. They’ve even resorted to putting blackboard material on the menu boards so they can indiscriminately raise prices I guess whenever they feel the urge. Inflation rate is close to 0 so how they think they can get away with 12−15% annual increases is bizarre. Place is generally deserted now because of the prices but I doubt the correlation is sinking in with the owners. Everything now seems to be at least $ 10. Not that Laguna Niguel can’t afford it but it’s the principal. Why pay $ 6 – 7 for a burger when you can get three better ones down the street at In-N-Out for that price. Omelets are now all $ 10+ too. Service has become even more surely than before. French Toast tasted old, eggs and hash browns were tepid at best. Sub-par. It’s becoming a vicious cycle. Raise the prices, people stop coming, raise the prices again to make up for less customers, more stop coming, raise prices again. Ted needs a course in economics.

A great local diner that’s been around for years. The menu is fairly extensive and you can find every type of diner food possible. I primarily come for their breakfast items served all day. The pancake combo, like all their dishes, are huge and I can usually feed two of my kids with one order. If I’m not ordering breakfast, I typically get the Super Burger combo. Ted is often their working himself and all his staff is friendly and helpful.

If you like huge portions, come here. If you like fried food, definitely come here. My family and I have been coming here for the past ten years, and it’s by far our most favorite diner! The classics are served here, and again, are huge portions. Grilled cheese with french fries, different types of burritos(wet or dry), and delicious breakfast entrees. French fries, fried zucchini, fried mushrooms, and fish and chips are all served here. Hope you’re ready for a food coma after! You can also call-in orders so that it is ready when you arrive. :)

zomg Ted’s. The portions are big, so don’t plan to eat anything for the rest of the day. The food was fried, the smell was good, the waitress was a sweetheart, and it was busy, but there was no obnoxious noisy din. And, the coffee wasn’t half-bad. If you’re in the area, and you’ve worked-up an appetite, come hither. This place is perfect for those«I just spent five hours at the beach and all I can think about is stuffing my face» moods.
