Longest wait in a drive thru I’ve ever encountered Won’t be going to this one again.

I’ve been here before numerous times since they opened this location. They lost power the first few times I went and presented a hand written free drink.(Joke!) Once they had things ironed a bit I went back. Without fail they’ve given me a grande instead of a Tall or a Grande instead of a venti. The manager at this location must lack leadership or motivation to train, or hire the right people at this location. I’ve had issues with a few of the drive thru cashiers/baristas but for the most part they’re pleasant and apologetic for waits, etc. I blame management for the long wait times, wrong orders, and at times rude or lazy baristas. I hope they get it together! This location could be amazing if they had better managers!

I’m not one to complain about service and try to understand that its tough to work for picky starbucks frequenter, myself included, but THIS starbucks is beyond terrible. I live just up the street and wanted it to me my starbucks, but after 3 horrible visits I am so over it. They are the rudest group employees I have ever met. They carry on full conversations before taking overs. I watched 5 employees stand and chat and flirt while they did nothing and it took 10 minutes to get an order to iced coffee when there was no drinks ahead of it. Who ever is hiring these people or training them has terrible tastes. I honestly would rather do anything else besides go there and am so disappointed they have ruined a wonderful location where there terrible customer survive.

This Starbucks started out rough. It was a new location that struggled to find people to staff the busy location, and with other larger Starbucks locations nearby, local customers had big expectations for this location. Now that this location has been open for about 6 months, everything is finally coming together; the excellent staff is very friendly — from greeting people when they walk in, to striking up conversation at the bar as they are crafting your drinks. One of their baristas loves coffee so much that when the new reserve flavors comes out, I’m pretty sure he tries all of them within the first day! It took a while, but this Starbucks has definitely exceeded my expectations.

I went through the drive thru and the service was fast. The drink I ordered came out fine and I ordered something moderately complex. The parking lot at this location is crowded and thus it can be a pain to get in and out of here.

Less than an hour ago I Went through the drive-thru for my 4 hour road trip. Ordered a venti white chocolate mocha with half the sweetener — I don’t like my drinks as sweet as they’re made. Didn’t think anything of it and drove away… I’m on the freeway & take a sip and a) it doesn’t taste like a WCH and b) it’s super freaking sweet. Think maybe it’s me & try to drink it again & I CANNOT!!! Now I’m driving, without coffee… Think, «give it another taste,» so I do… I kid you not, the drive-thru guy gave me a freaking extra large HOTCHOCOLATE… I’m not 5 and I’m not trying to get diabetes you jerk!!! I’m royally upset because I’d like to have coffee as opposed to an energy drink and now I have neither & a hot chocolate instead. I called the store in hopes of finding out if another Starbucks would remake one for me at no charge, but no one Picked up… I initially left a tip via my mobile app because it’s the«service industry,» but I’ve since changed it to $ 0.0! Definitely unsatisfied.

Got there at 9:45pm, closing time’s at 10 pm. Doors were locked, two women were cleaning and would not even look at us when we knocked on the door. You don’t acknowledge your business hours Starbucks? Sooooo sorry to burden you with our business.

By far the slowest Starbucks I have ever been to, and yes I visit many of them frequently. There was no line when I got to the store. So I went straight to the cashier and ordered my frap. Having nobody ahead of me, meant that my drink would be ready in no time because well nobody was waiting before me for their drinks! I have to mention that this location has a drive-through. But it seems like their drive through is as slow as if you walk-in to the store. But that is a separate discussion. Anyhow, as I was waiting for my drink to be made, I saw that there were 2 employees who were strictly working on the drive through orders. There was one employee that seemed like she was working on the in-store orders. Also there were 2 employees that seemed like they are not doing anything. That is besides the manager that was working on making schedule and also the cashier that helped me. So you can imagine that there are somany people employed but not actually being productive… So yes, I waited 10 mins until my drink was made. 10 mins with no one being ahead of me… Why did I give them a 2 star review instead of a 1? Well because I enjoyed my drink. And that is the only reason! I will try not to go to this location from now on…

Definitely 1 star for the service. A bonus star for the manager/lead who was very nice when taking my drink order… then it went downhill from there. Probably the slowest Starbucks location I’ve been to, and I go to Starbucks daily. I tend to go to the one on La Paz and Pacific Park, but today I was next door buying a cake at Susie Cakes. Ordered an iced tall toasted graham latte with no guests before nor after me. Waited a good 8 – 10 minutes for the drink while watching the barista working at snail’s pace. Appears the priority is to get drinks made urgently for those in drive thru versus those inside the store. I did glance outside and saw 2 cars in line. Oh and to add, there were 2 baristas working the drive thru orders, 1 barista making drinks, 2 baristas(1 manager/lead training a new barista), and 1 barista filling the ice… so definitely not understaffed nor dealing with a rush at the time. If you’re in a hurry, do not go inside this Starbucks… if you do, probably be faster if you made a mobile order while you’re at least 5 – 10 minutes out. Hopefully by then your drink will actually be ready.

I had a meeting in Irvine, so I was getting on the toll road at greenfield, and this was the perfect Starbucks to stop at. I’ve noticed it before but the line was always really long when it first opened. Today it didn’t look too bad so I decided to give it a try. There were only 3 cars in front of me… I had mine and my co workers drinks in under 5 minutes. No complaint at all. I will drive through here again on my next trip to Irvine.

I don’t understand the negative reviews below. This place is new so the staff is obviously getting a feel for the place. My experiences have always been great. Kind and helpful employees, the entire Starbucks is very clean, and wow does the staff work hard. They move so fast making drinks that it’s like watching someone quickly solve a rubix cube. I will be returning!

I went into this Starbucks to get an iced coffee. I was the only customer inside the facility. Because it is a drive up as well, there were cars in line. It took over 15 minutes for me to get my coffee poured over ice! Even though no other customers were inside. I was told by one of the staff who was just standing there to take inside orders, that my order was put in with all the drive up orders! After I finally went up to the one worker filling the orders and asked him to please just pour some coffee over ice! did I finally get my order. There were three inside working. One standing at the register, one cleaning? And one filling drive up and inside orders!!! Very poor service and management! Too bad!!!

This Starbucks just opened on Thursday, May 21, 2015, so it is still not fully stocked, but it is very nice inside. There is an elegant natural wood counter that goes along the pickup area, and a stone one as well. The refrigerated sector has a separate area that works better for sandwich selection than the usual below-the-pastry location. There is a drive-through, which may not be the best choice for this area next to the Regency Theatres because the traffic flow was already tight and the new influx makes it too crowded. It’s much nicer to sit inside anyway, with the medium-sized but well-built indoor area, and there are a few tables outside too.
