0 stars. Overpriced, small portions, rude owners, terrible customer service. Go elsewhere!

Got denied a 4th flavor… WHODOESTHAT! That’s like ordering a pizza and getting denied a 4th topping. Also, when they put the lid on my yogurt it flooded out every side and they didn’t wipe it up. See y’all at Yogurtland !

I like to get a yogurt after having my Z Pjzza. The Golden Spoon girls always remember my favorite flavor.

Tanner helped us with our order and was amazing. The best service I’ve gotten at a golden spoon in years. I used to work at a golden spoon and this is the type of service I used to give and I’m happy to receive.

The hours on the door said they closed at 9:30PM. I arrived at 9:05PM and the door was open, lights were on, 2 employees behind the counter… seemed open to me right? Guess not. The girl said they were closed because«it was slow». I asked to get something and she said no. I offered to pay cash and she said no because she had just closed down her register. Seriously? I know it’s New Years Eve but cmon. Make a new sign then and don’t look open.

Solid ice cream. Colin the swirler knows the deal! He always has the perfect combo and balance of favors. If you want quality make sure Colin swirls your ice cream.

Love the yogurt and the service! I noticed a lot of complaints regarding the closing time. The 10pm closing time is seasonal and is typically only applicable to the summer. However beginning in October the hours revert back to 9:30pm. It is not because a bunch of teenagers are just being lazy but it is because it is just falsely advertised. I can attest as I used to work there.

Late night sweet teeth beware! Although the website and the decal on the door state that they close at 10:00 on Sunday, we arrived at 9:32 and were the second couple to be tossed out. The teenage employees stated«the sign and website were wrong.» Since we had already drove 10 minutes to get there, we went across the street to Yogurtland… where we ran in to the other couple that got the boot from Golden Spoon! The place was packed and the fro yo was just as good. Good luck to the owners of Golden Spoon… teenagers eager to get out on a Sunday night is not good for business!

3rd night in a row I watch them close really early and refuse to let people in. One girl was literally sweeping into the customer line disrupting them. They put the sign up that they were closed and won’t let anyone in. At least 12 people have come by trying to get ice cream before they closed. At 9:25 they closed the doors. At 9:30 they cleaned out the mechines. My friends and I have been watching this since 9 and had to tell customers to write about this on Unilocal. The sign on the door says it closed at 10. When questioned the employees said they close at 9:30 because of school, but it’s summer and the employees go to saddleback… As these customers leave empty handed they’re probably going across the street to yogurt land where customer service is appreciated. As I finish this review at 9:40(20 min early) the employees are about to leave and at least 20 people came by and were denied.

It’s just how I remember it! Haven’t been to a Golden Spoon location since 2002, at least. Gotta say, it is a great favorite of mine from nostalgic trips down to Dana Point/Laguna as a young teenager. Always delicious and even though there may be a line, it goes quickly, and with smiles. Coming back was sweeter with this treat! Thanks

This is a great yogurt shop. They are always fun and friendly. They always have great fresh new flavors and all the original standards. Can’t make up your mind? Get both!!! They can mix any two flavors together. Try the salted caramel… Yuuuuummmmm!

Keeping it real, especially in this day of «gluten free», «non– dairy», sugar free OC diets. Real milk + weekly flavors = best frozen yogurt south of Long Beach.

Oh, Golden Spoon… where do I even begin? I have been a fro-yo fanatic since 2002, when my college roommates and I would frequent the G-Spoon that was inside the local grocery store down the street. Oh how I miss the days when we would get our yogurt plain and then select our toppings from the bins in the«Free Candy Aisle»…ahem…ANYWAY…I became a G-Spoon loyalist and have been ever since. It’s a good thing I now live close to this location so I can get my fix whenever I want(which is way more frequently than I’d like to admit). My husband and I are here at least twice a week. Our guy Bobby hooks us up. Yes, we are here so much that we have a guy. Now, I enjoy the self-serve craze as much as the next fro-yo freak, but any true yogurt connoisseur knows that no other chain beats Golden Spoon on the creaminess factor. G-Spoon’s yogurt just has a texture that other chains can’t beat. True, they don’t have quite the selection of crazy off-the-wall flavors that their competitors boast, but those that they do have are top notch. I have never found a peanut butter cup flavor that can hold a candle to G-Spoon’s. Plus, the stamp card is awesome. If you haven’t yet, go get you some G-Spoon. You will never look back.

i dont understand why people feel they have to have ice cream. I know, it is yummy, but it is also so bad for you. I personally have to watch my weight and even of i ddnt i could easily trade it out for frozen yogurt. Yogurt has protien and that helps keep you full for longer. It is the number one thing you should eat after a weok out to help maximiize fat burnging. If injested within twenty minutes of a hard work out. You dont have to eat alot. the smallest size is the most appr5opriate in fact. the calories can be tricky cause often they pile the yummy goodness on top inn a pretty spiral that excedes the actual service amount that is figuried into the calorie figures. The other thing about yogurt is that is is a natural probiotic. Again, not that many have to worry, but my digestion has gotten to be a bigger issue as i age and haveing a nice smooth regular moving body is a comfort. too much? Thisnk this over… the flavors may be limited and the consistncy may be a bit softter, but the overall picture of the yogurt vs ice cream dispute still is a clear cut winner. Dont stop… run to get your yogurt and keep those handy cards for frequesnt flyers and get free stuff… does the ice cream store do that for you? I think not:)

I LOVE the Golden Spoon. It’s been a big part of my life since moving to Southern California in 1999. Unfortunately for me there are no «Spoons» in LA. There are several Fro-yo places but nothing compares to the spoon(Pinkberry is on a level of its own and I am not a fan of self-serve places) So every time I am in the OC, I try to stop at a Golden Spoon.
