I have been training in martial arts for over 30 years, so I understand the importance and benefits of traditional martial arts training. Sensei Yusuke is the true master of the art and he is a very passionate teacher. Through repetition of fundamental techniques, students at his studio learns the true essence of Karate as a second nature. Although my background in martial arts are Jujitsu and Hapkido, I am simply amazed by effectiveness of Sabaki method taught by Sensei Yusuke. We looked into Enshin Karate after a friend recommended it to us. The studio is housed at Mission Viejo Dance so it was extra convenient for my son to attend karate, while my daughter attends her dance classes. Within a few months my son developed skills that we had not seen when he attended a different martial arts school for over a year. Enshin Karate is not like some martial arts schools that are more about generating revenue through marketing and promotional testing and less about martial arts.
I regularly observe the classes and I cannot say enough good things about the Sensei Tokashiki and Enshin Karate. It is a true martial art where the kids develop their mind and body. I have seen many children join the studio and blossom. My own son continues to enjoy Sensei Tokashiki’s classes so much that my daughter has recently asked to join.

My 5 year old son has been practicing with Sensei Tokashiki for nearly a year now and we are very happy that we found this dojo. He has grown leaps and bounds since he began practicing here. I would definitely recommend it to anyone wishing for a wonderful place for their children to learn about respect and how to defend themselves.

Sensei Tokashiki has been studying and teaching karate for a very long time! He is very passionate about Enshin Karate and his dojo. My boys (3 and 5) have been with him for 4 months now, and they are learning Japanese words and manners, in addition to karate skills. I am very happy that my boys are learning karate from Sensei Tokashiki :)
