I don’t understand how this place is rated so high. We ordered the chicken fried rice, crab and cream cheese wontons, calamari, and pepper steak. The pepper steak was bland with few pieces of meat, fried rice was so-​so, calamari was lacking in flavor but saved by the sauce that went with it. All in all, the wontons were the only good thing we ate. Probably better off going to panda express for better tasting food.

The food here was amazing, but what stood out to me was the top notch customer service. I have severe food allergies that a lot of places these days don’t take too seriously. I mentioned my allergies to the server and she relayed them to the kitchen. The chef came over to clarify what all my allergies were and he made sure that nothing touched my food or the utensils used to cook my food. While I was eating, he stood by and watched to make sure that I was okay and had no poor reactions. After dinner, he came over and asked how everything tasted and if I was okay. I was so grateful to have such a caring chef take care of us that night. He kindly walked us all the way to the door and asked us to definitely come back again and that he would make sure all my food was allergy free again. Amazing! Highly recommend this place. There isn’t a lot of seating and it can get packed, but it’s well worth the wait. Great food and service. Will be back.

I was a little discouraged when i first walked in. The lady who first greeted us was rather cold and did not seem to want to help us. Then a nice young man came to our rescue and helped us promptly since we were a family of 5. Once seated the service was very good. The food also was really good as well. I will be back. Not a lot of options for good chinese food in the area but i rather enjoyed this little place.

Best little Chinese place in the Mission Viejo area! Tends to get a bit busy, since the place isn’t super huge, but if you shoot for 1−2pm, you’ll get a table right away. Take out is always a good option too.
The place has great lunch specials during the day, and the dinner plates are huge/​for sharing, so don’t be thrown off by the price or order too much!
My favorites are definitely the orange chicken (don’t hate), sesame chicken, and honey walnut shrimp.
The staff are super great and friendly, and the food typically comes out rather quickly, especially when it’s not super packed. All around great place.

Been here for lunch many times. The food is a cut above most Chinese food places. None off that muddy soy stuff the food is typically cooked in. Even the soup is great, the typical egg drop soup is so tiresome. Great flavor to all the dishes I’ve tried. Plenty to eat. The rainbow shrimp is not on the lunch menu, but you can sometimes get them to prepare for you. Delicious.

I love China Moooon!!! A. They have the best sizzling rice soup and it’s one of my favs. B. Their service is amazing! And C. Everything else is good! It’s one of those «can’t go wrong» places. Fav dishes (other than the soul and crispy noodles and sauce) sautéed string beans, cashew chicken, chefs special beef, and peppercorn chicken! Also… an added plus is they are always playing great music! Love love love!

This is the last time at this rip off restaurant which charges for tea! Have you ever heard of a Chinese restaurant which does not have rice at 5:30 PM? No pork ribs and does not accommodate your reservations which had been confirmed several times prior. The owner who cannot even apologize to its patrons. You lost many customers!

Been going here for many years. But recently, I noticed the food just tastes a little different. It’s not exactly the same and just not as flavorful. Is there a different cook? I mean, it’s still good and good quality but there is very little spice and it borders on the bland side. Like something you would expect at a Chinese restaurant in Iowa. Something is going on here.

Wide range of well prepared dishes here, we had the fried rice as well as Cashew Chicken. Portion sizes are large so there will be enough to share or take home.

From the moment we walked in, we had nothing but excellent customer service. Even though we ordered to go, we were treated as if we were dining in. This place truly has class. We asked for a couple glasses of water while we waited outside. We were brought our water out front. Who does that?
The inside is beautifully decorated, loved the mural on the ceiling. We were offered help by two different people. We felt very well taken care of, especially since it was at 9:30 at night. We didn’t feel like a burden or rushed to make our dinner choices.
Ordered Three Flavor Soup, NY Egg Rolls, Orange Chicken with Brown Rice (glad we had the option), and Combo Taiwanese Rice Noodles. DELICIOUS!!!
I’m new to the area and came here at the recommendation of friends who love this place. Oh, and they double checked our to-​go order a second time before handing it off to us outside. WONDERFUL!!!
