I started Irish Dancing at Aniar Academy when I was 16. I was worried about being and«older» beginner, but Christine made me feel so welcome, and immediately I felt part of the family. By my first feis, I felt prepared, but knew that Aniar was just as much about the fun and joy of dance than just the competition. Christine is very caring and dedicated, and it is very clear that she is invested in each and every individual. The studio has a large floor space, and dancers at every level. I always feel like I am home at the studio, and highly recommend Christine and Aniar Academy to anyone interest in Irish Dance.

Christine is an amazing teacher. I started dancing with her almost 7 years ago when I was in my 30’s — she treats her adults like«real students,» not just a by-product of teaching children. My sons have also taken lessons from her, and they love it. There is no pressure to compete, but if you want to, she will get you ready. She is kind, helpful, and a great dancer herself. I highly recommend Irish dance lessons at Aniar!

Christine Byrne is one of the kindest-hearted people I have ever had the luck to meet. She communicates so well with all of her students – from the very smallest to the most young at heart. She is creative with her show choreography and encouraging to her competing students. She is patient and sweet, and easy to appreciate. I am SO thankful to be a part of the Aniar Academy of Irish Dance. As a college student, it can be hard to switch to a new dance school where everyone knows everyone already and has for years. I, however, have met some of the closest friends I could have ever asked for, and I have been able to participate in Irish dance performance opportunities through this school that I NEVER would have dreamed possible! I love being a part of the Aniar family and I will cherish every moment I spend with this dance school for the rest of my life!
