Aardvark Pool Service responded quickly to our call for help in locating a pool leak. All the repair persons worked vigorously and diligently(no slacking off at all) to locate a pipe leak under my spa(which is not an easy place to detect a leak). Additionally, they did an awesome job at repairing several large cracks in our pool. The employees and the company owner were professional and extremely hard working. I can say enough positive things about Ardvark’s pool repair service. I highly recommend them should you be in need for pool repairs. Please feel free to call me should you have any further questions about Aardvark @ 949481‑7097.

They came on time to start the leak detection(and pick up the check) but took multiple calls to get them to finish. I need to fix the pool, but had to move on to another contractor to get started.

If you can get past the terrible attitude and despondent demeanor of Stacy, who answers the phone, you will be in for an excruciating experience. Be prepared to have a check in hand as the crew shows up or they won’t even start looking at the pool. In my case they couldn’t find a leak that was on the pool cleaner suction pipe. Since they couldn’t conclusively determine where my pool was leaking, they put epoxy on a couple of corner cracks, but missed the leaks between the tiles. They tried to tell me that I needed a diver for an additional $ 175 to check for leaks around the pool lights. Stacy called a week before the appointment and told me to fill the pool despite the fact that the diver wasn’t coming for a week: WTF lady, do you not have a TV? Don’t you know that we have a drought and we are supposed to save water? The best was when she told me that the pool needed to be heated to 70 degrees to take the chill off for the diver. Again, WTF lady, does your diver not have a wet suit? Today, the day of the appointment, my heater stopped working, so I called her to find out what time they were coming and I told her that the heater was not working but the pool measured 70 degrees. She basically went off and told me that it was impossible for a pool to be that temperature and my thermometer had to be off. She stated clearly that, if the diver came out and the pool wasn’t warm enough, the diver would leave and I would be charged for the call, After 10 minutes of this aggravation I told her I had enough of her attitude and was done talking to her, I then called another company, American Leak Detection, and the guy was at my door within 3 hours, found the issue within 30 minutes, and told me how much it would be to fix it. Stacy, if you read this, get a job where you do not have to interact with customers. You must be the owner’s wife because I cannot imagine anybody in his right mind would entrust the livelihood of his business and family to someone with such despicable people skills, BTW, expect a call asking for a refund or, out of pure principle, I will take your company to small claims court.
