Best hair cut ever to say the least! It’s the first place and only place that will ever give me a facial. To be honest… Kesley, my stylist, talked me into get my first even though the idea was embarrassing for me I did it anyways. It was the best and man, I needed it. Not only did I look great but, I felt great thanks to Kelsey! I wish I could give 10 stars but 5 is all it will allow me.

The staff is always friendly and always on time. I see Beverly and she has been the best!
Some (not all) of the girls are not dressed or act quite as professional as they should… but I am sure some guys like that. I’m not a prude, but overt flirting and some of the provocative outfits are a little much.
I’m a tad annoyed about the pricing model. I signed up there a while ago and paid one price for a cut/​package. I then renew my package to find the price went up, even though I am seeing the same person and getting the same haircut. When the price goes up again and I am getting the same service but paying more… I will go elsewhere. This does not encourage any sort of loyalty.

I got a a butchered haircut that was way over priced. Asked for a tapered blended cut got a totally uneven hair cut. The stylist had a bad attitude and all of the stylists only seemed to care about flirting with the customers to get a better tip.

I had the opportunity to get my hair cut by Alicia at 18 8 the other day. She did a great job and i highly recommend her! She new exactly what I wanted and knew how to go about cutting my hair. She is a true pro!
I am very picky and I tried this place based upon some good reviews. I am happy to say that I have found a great new place for my hair cuts.

Pretty good men’s haircut and service.
They have wine and beer, coffee and sodas in lobby to take.
A bit pricey and overall the vibe there is a bit hum drum– can’t put finger on it it’s lacking in energy or management or something.

Tina was amazing. From my initial phone call (she happened to be playing receptionist), to a truly great experience all around, and finally a haircut that doesn’t look like I just got a haircut. I highly recommend this location and I suggest you request Tina. If you can’t get her, they all seemed great.

Not as impressive as the other 18/8’s I’ve been to. They did a good job, but they were running a little behind so I had to wait and then my barber took a very very long time to trim my beard so 45
Minutes later for just a beard trim… Place was a little messy, but everyone was friendly.

Beverly cut my hair. It looks much better now. I asked for advice and she was really helpful. The cut was exactly as we discussed and I couldn’t be happier. I’ll definitely be back.

First off, all I have to say is great quality overall! Each staff member is very friendly and extremely helpful! Yes they can be a little pricey, but it is worth it to me! I have been going Anelsy since January and she is absolutely amazing! I trust her with my hair when I want something new or different, and she always seems to amaze me! She is the best stylist I have ever had in my life and you can tell she loves what she does for a living! We need more hair stylists just like Anelsy!

This place is really worth the little bit more you will pay over somewhere like super cuts. I got my first cut here last weekend by Kelsy, who was super friendly and did a great job… I am sold. It’s No wonder why these places are popping up all over town

I was a membership transfer from another local ¹⁸⁄₈ and read these reviews and picked a guy. He lasted about 3 months with me and about 8 months at the LN store. I wasn’t that impressed overall although his rating was always a 5, and was about to change to another hair dresser when he left. I was suggested to try Tina and she is wonderful. She even did a grey blend that rooms seconds and deducted about 10 years off my age. She listen to my concerns and followed what she thought I was asking. Tina is a mind reader because my last haircut was perfect. Thank you Tina, and ¹⁸⁄₈ she thank you for keeping my business.

Deserving of a 5 star… today I went in for the first time for a haircut as a walk in. Rolling the dice, I decided to get my hair cut by whoever was first available.
I was first greeted by a very friendly hostess who welcomed me and offered me a cold refreshment. Next she introduced me to the person that would soon decide the fate of my scalp and how people would look at me.
My hair artist Heather was sent from the place hair specialist go to learn all the secrets of making you look younger and handsome. She proved my luck was still on a roll as she gave me a 5 star hair cut with a wash, neck shoulder massage and instructions on how to keep the handsome style she just gave me.
I have to say… so many trips to the barber and I usually don’t frequent a salon because of the price and the stereotype that it’s more for females. But I can honestly say. Heather made me a believer and I scheduled a future appointment.
Prices are reasonable and a value for what you get. Trust me it’s worth going here. Maybe it was Heather or maybe this place but I’m sold!!!

Really nice staff! My husband kept getting his hair done at supercuts and I really wanted him to try something nicer. His hair looks so great. They do a really nice job. He also loved that they have beer there: P Wife approved! ;)

Before my first Eighteen Eight experience (and it IS an experience), I’d always been wary about so-​called «Men’s Salons.» All haircuts are the same, right? Wrong.
These haircuts are worth it for the time alone, but the free beers, the shoulder/​scalp massages and the attention to detail sold me. I got paired with Maryam on my first visit and I don’t want anyone else but her cutting my hair now. She takes her time, has a great sense of the knots in my neck and shoulders, and is fun to talk to. Make sure you request her.

Wow! What a first impression. I was a little nervous going to a new stylist after having one for years that I loved. I moved to Laguna Niguel recently and was lucky enough to find ¹⁸⁄₈ and a stylist named Anelsy. She got it right the first time. I would recommend ¹⁸⁄₈ and Anelsy to anybody un sure of where to go. So many perks and a great cut. Thank you ¹⁸⁄₈

I’ve had such a positive experience here all around. If you’re looking to save a few bucks & get a quick, unimpressive cut, then this isn’t the place for you. However, if you’re the kind of guy who wants an excellent, professional cut with all the bells & whistles of a high-​end salon, this is the place for you.
Jamila was my stylist for my initial cut & for my clean up a few weeks later. She was friendly, personable & professional. She found out exactly what I was looking for & made it happen. I’ll definitely be making appointments with her in the future. It’s a good thing to be able to connect, have fun with & trust your stylist.
This ¹⁸⁄₈ salon is seriously a great, luxurious experience. Try it out. The beer/​wine/​soda at the beginning, the shampoo, head massage, hot towel & more makes it all such an awesome experience. It’s way more than just a haircut. Even if I can’t afford it every time I get my hair cut, I’ll definitely come back when I can to treat myself.

I always thought nobody could cut my hair and style it the way that complemented my face. That is until I met Beverly! Each time I go there she keeps me comfortable the whole time and treats me like a good friend. She’s really friendly and personable — makes the whole 30 – 45 mins I’m there getting my EXECUTIVE haircut feel great from start to end! Just moved to the area from the South Bay and let my hair go wayyyy too long without a cut. Found this place on Unilocal and decided to try it with the $ 10 off deal. Called and explained what I was looking for and the women on the phone said they could get me in to see Anelsy same day.
Showed up and they offered me a drink, which is cool. Have you change into a robe and off you go. I showed Anelsy some pics of haircuts I was thinking of (since it was time for a change) and she said she had an idea of how to get going.
She made quick work of the cut and seemed very focused while also making the usual and friendly small talk, which is much better than just staring at a mirror. She seemed genuine and down to earth.
Finished up my cut with a trim to the beard and a hot towel. Left relaxed and happy with the experience.
If I stay with her I will probably purchase the membership to save some $$$, since it is a little pricey. But you get what you pay for! Thanks Anelsy!
