I just found this little gem today. I agree with a previous reviewer that it resembles Anthropologie in that there are so many unique little items to browse through. The owner was super friendly and pointed out restaurants and other fun things to do in Laguna Beach. The shop offers handmade items, fun unique gifts and on trend clothing with a kitschy and free spirited vibe. I would definitely recommend!

Twig is located in the HIP District of Laguna Beach (South Coast Hwy from Thalia to Bluebird). It’s a short walk from downtown and well worth it– Twig is different than any other store in Laguna. They have vintage and handmade items as well as other great gifts and objet d’art for the home. (haha– my weak attempt at being cool.) Everything is very unique and fun. My favorites are the one-​of-​a-​kind necklaces. I live nearby so I stop by often and buy something almost every time I go. There’s always a new scarf, book, candle, tray, garden accessory, t-​shirt, original painting, hat, belt buckle, piece of jewelry… that is perfect for me or that I just have to get for a friend. The owner really has an eye for cool, hip, fun. Oh, and the prices are amazing too.

Laguna Beach’s version of Anthropologie for home items! Twig has an eclectic selection of items that you are bound to find something for anyone! It’s a great place to spend some time in and explore, or get a last minute gift. The layout of the store and merchandising makes it easy to roam and get lost.
It’s great to have a store in town that can be a go-​to for fun, trendy, and artsy gifts… some handmade and some not. As an artist, it’s also a place to become inspired and as a shopper it’s a place to just SHOP! This place saved me a lot of hassle when doing some last minute Christmas shopping.
This particular block in town has become a walkable shopping zone… whereas in the past, there wasn’t much worth a stroll. Twig is definitely a great addition!

Costa Mesa, CA
If you dig more unique gifts with a more handmade vibe then you will like Twig. Not everything here is handmade but they certainly have a more unique eclectic selection of gifts, books, housewares etc etc. Sort of reminded me of Spitfire Girl in Echo Park and Seed Peoples Market in Costa Mesa just much smaller. I ended up picking up a few things in here. A cook book called Caravan Cookbook (simple sort of recipes that are not the run of the mill sort of stuff) and some greeting cards. It’s worth a visit and it is certainly not the average beach like surf shop in Laguna.
