Such a fun, and cozy little salon in beautiful downtown Laguna! The entire staff is great, friendly, social, and professional! I have been coming here for a couple of years now and am in love with the service and my hair every time I visit. Danielle is an amazing stylist and takes great care of me with her natural touch and yummy organic products! Thank You Studio DC!

My husband loves my hair! Dannielle has been coloring, styling and cutting my hair for over 6 years. I wouldn’t trust my baby fine locks to anyone else. I know from the minute I walk through the door to the time I walk out that I have the focus and attention of a women at the top of her craft. Dannielle, has always taken into account my wants and desires when it comes to my hair. Is my schedule getting to crazy, so I need a style that is easy and quick so I can get out the door in the morning? Am I looking for something more fashion forward? What ever I desire, Dannielle is skillfully able to make my dreams come true. I always look forward to my next appointment with anticipation and curiosity. Most importantly, I can’t wait to come home and show off my hair to my husband. The reactions are priceless.

I’ve never been especially particular about my haircuts because I had always been under the impression that a haircut, is well, a haircut. That is until I went to Studio DC and they showed me how just a few tweaks can have you looking and feeling like a new man. It’s amazing the confidence boost you get from a haircut that’s suited to your frame. Your hair is the crown of your look and they focus on tailoring a look to you.
My stylist at Studio DC, Dannielle, is able to work with me and she somehow always manages is give me a cut that is tasteful and current, but still uniquely mine. It doesn’t stop at just the hair either, Dannielle offers personnel styling service too! She’ll ensure that you’ve got the right wardrobe and accessories needed for any occasion, or the rest of your life.
I cannot capture in this review how my life has changed thanks to Dannielle and Studio DC. More confidence at work, on the course, and especially with the ladies. I get compliments all the time from the opposite sex, not just about the hair, but about all the clothes and shoes Dannielle has helped me select too. So thanks for the new lease on life Dannielle!

Rue is amazing! He is great with color and cuts and I love that he is always thinking outside of the box. When ever I find something fun and new to do he is always fair game and does whatever it takes to make sure I walk out looking amazing. People are always complimenting me on my hair and I have Rue to thank for that. I love that he is always on top of the latest and greatest trends and style in cuts and color. Rue does not disappoint! I am soooo glad I found him.

I wish I had an experience within the salon to talk about but I was never even given the opportunity. In October I was visiting Laguna for a week and had an important event to attend at the end of the week. I knew the chances of my getting an appointment just days before the event were slim but I figured I’d at least try. I called AND emailed the salon, but in three days I didn’t hear a thing. I looked up and found a salon in San Juan who was happy to return my call and give me a great cut and treatment; Brush Salon, so there was a happy ending. I just couldn’t figure out why this DC Salon, with such great reviews on Unilocal didn’t even show me the courtesy of returning a phone call or a simple email. horribly rude.

I absolutely love my haircut from Katie! She transformed my disheveled, randomly layered bob/​chunky bangs into a flawlessly smooth, seamless, flowing cut with gentle side swept bangs. It falls just right and makes the hair look healthy. This is the kind of haircut that will look good both styled and un-​styled and grow out well. Katie really knows hair. Glad to have found her!

I have walked past this salon for years now. Decided to give it a chance and booked an appointment with Marisa for an all over color, cut and blow dry and needless to say, I found a stylist! She is so sweet and so professional and did an amazing job on my cut and color. If you are looking for a great stylist who is great to talk to, go see Marisa at Studio DC!

Ashlee is one of the best hairstylist I’ve ever been to. She is professional, curtious and makes me look phenomenal. She’s very detail oriented and thorough. She always listens to me and delivers exactly what I want. She makes me feel at home and gives phenomenal head massages. I love her so much that I even drive all the way from San Diego to see her. Carie P. Is a colorist master! I am a blonde who used to have very fine and brittle hair, but Carie transformed it through safe coloring methods, balayage, and even extensions. I now no longer need extensions and my hair is thicker and longer than it’s been in years. She’s super meticulous and sweet as can be. It’s really hard to find someone who knows how to create the perfect shade of blonde so Carie’s my girl. I won’t trust my hair to anyone else for color or extensions.

Ashlee Green is a color genius! I came to her with dark brown/​black hair with brassy orange toned highlights, she lightened my hair SPOT ON to match my beach blonde extensions. She did such an amazing job!!!
The salon is clean, nice and relaxing atmosphere. In gorgeous Laguna Beach. I couldn’t ask for a better hairstylist and salon.
I HIGHLY recommend anyone to go there and book an appointment w/​Ashlee Green. She’s super talented and takes time/​pride in her clients.

I have never been loyal to a stylist for more than a year or so… Until I started going to Shane. I’ve followed him from salon to salon for about 4 years because he is by far the best stylist in Laguna Beach (maybe all of OC). My kids love him too!

Brittany does an amazing job on my blonde hair. I’ve been going to her for my weaves for some time now and now she does hair extensions! I love them! I’m so glad I let her talk me into them. They are so much fun and easy to put in. She uses the tape wefts so they aren’t as damaging on my hair. She’s fast and does a great job! Thanks Britt!

Hollis is amazing. I started to visit Laguna frequently and was nervous to try a new salon in a new city. Hollis did a great job with my cut and color. She asked a lot of questions about what I wanted and she definitely delivered! My cut and color looked great for weeks afterwards. She is also so sweet and friendly. She makes you feel very comfortable. She also did it for a great price, and I really appreciate it. She delivers great value for this part of town.

Carie Vejvoda is the best! She is a total perfectionist, so when it comes to my crazy thick long hair, she is super careful and takes her time with each and every highlight, so that my hair looks naturally sun kissed every single time. Over the last few years Carie has taken my hair from a dark brown to a much lighter shade, but surprisingly my hair has remained very healthy and strong. I would highly recommend Carie to any client looking for fresh and natural looking highlights.

I came in today BADLY needing some waxing. Kanan is the newest esthetician, she and one stylist were in the Salon since it was a quiet Sunday. I LOVED my brows when I left. She gave me a great massage. I’m hooked!!! Will definitely be coming back.

I love this place! Hollis does the most beautiful color, and my hair always comes out shiny, gorgeous and super healthy, even though I have been bleaching it for years. I love the interior of the salon, it’s super cute and intimate, nice and cool even in the summer, and conveniently located downtown Laguna, right next to Zinc! Couldn’t be happier with my favorite hair stylist! Finally someone who knows how to do my hair the way I want it, without charging an arm and a leg! Hooray!

Jacqueline did my blow out and she does excellent work! I don’t think I’ve ever looked better leaving a salon as I did after Jacqueline got her hands on my head.
I bought a Living Social deal for four bow drys and a conditioning treatment. I forget how much I paid but I know that it came out to less per blow dry than Dry Bar charges. It’s always a little scary letting someone you don’t know let loose on your hair but I am so happy I found Jacqueline! She’s calm and cool and put me at ease. The salon itself is gorgeous and peaceful. Everybody I came in contact with at the salon, including the person I booked the appointment with, are total sweethearts.
Can’t wait for my next blow dry and I’m going to try Jacqueline out for cuts next time.
The salon is pretty easy to find but parking in Laguna Beach is a bear. My suggestion is to arrive way before your appointment in order to find a spot.
Five stars for Studio DC. I think I’ve found my new «I love my hair salon» place!

Great salon, location rocks and its the kind of place that as soon as you walk in you can immediately relax! I have seen Danielle and have been very happy with my color and cuts. They have a great referral program and a friendly atmosphere and clientelle. I highly reccommend them!
My 2 cents: Whenever looking at reviews always scroll to the bottom and look at the filtered reviews as well. I don’t agree with Unilocal review filter– ALL reviews should be counted. In many cases if all reviews were considered, some 5 star companies would have a 2 star rating and vice versa. Decide for yourself Unilocalers, don’t let their «algorithm «do it for you!

I’ve been coming here almost a year and I love it!
I drive to Studio DC from Los Angeles because it’s the 1^st place I’ve been to in 8 years that I don’t leave and immediately grab scissors or a box of color. Lena is a goddess. She gives a fantastic cut and is just a sweetheart to talk to. I’ve now started recruiting other friends from LA to make the drive because it really is that good. The salon’s beautiful, the people are so nice and I always leave happy. It’s 100% worth the 2 hour trek, gas money and everything!
