Customer service in this store is below zero.
Of course it’s a touristy store of fun useless items but in the past I have enjoyed browsing and have bought things
HOWEVER
Today was the worst experience I’ve had in any store. I wanted a sign of license plate letters as I had purchased one there before. One letter was peeling and all of others were shiny and in good shape. I believed it deserved a slight discount and asked. An older lady said she’d go to the back to ask her supervisor and came back saying no. I was buying several other souvenirs for family with me amounting to well over $ 100 and to discount even 10% would have been about $ 6. It seemed to be more on principal that this certainly could have been done to show decent customer service. A young white guy with dreadlocks and a very unprofessional cocky attitude spoke to us so rudely. He laughed at us as we left the store after saying it would be «cool» if we never came back to the store. How’s that was Laguna customer service. Customer service is vital to good reputation which means everything — that’s why we say «The customer is always right».

Nice store with nice people working there. Purchased some cups. If your walking around in Laguna it’s worth a peek.

Oh how I just love this store!!! Got me a couple goodies that I can’t wait to gift… to myself! The guys that work here actually love their job and that says a lot. Tons of great looking art that I can’t wait to come back and get!!!

To whom it may concern:
I am writing to express my great disappointment with the way things were handled today in your store. I went in with my seven year old grandson and he fell in love with a solar powered baseball globe on a stand. I asked the price and the salesperson said $ 129.99. Then I took my grandson aside and we had a conversation (in front of another salesperson) about the globe and how it was very fragile and expensive but I knew how much it meant to him. He said he would be very careful with it and he loved it. I said OK tell the salesperson you want it and he did. The salesperson brought it out and explained how to put the stand together and told us all about the globe. When he rung it up he said he was sorry but it was $ 169.99 not $ 129.99 like he had said before. I was surprised and told him that I was sure he would make it right and charge me what he had quoted me before. He went in the back to speak with someone and returned to say there was nothing he could do He felt bad and said if it were up to him he would charge me his original quote but there was nothing he could do. I was dumbfounded because I never would have bought it for that price but I had already told my grandson he could have this special gift. My daughter in-​law went to talk to someone in the back and that person called someone on the phone who said it was too bad and they would make no changes. Of course I purchased the globe because there was no way I was going to disappoint my grandson but I was so angry and disheartened by what I had endured. Shame on you people for putting me in this uncomfortable situation. I will never again step foot in your store and I will tell everyone I know about this incident. I see now why people use Unilocal to complain about a business. I will get the word out. I do not blame the salesperson for the mistake but I absolutely blame those in charge for being so heartless and unconcerned. My total came to $ 182.62. The way this was handled was a disgrace. I think you will be sorry for treating us with such lack of consideration because I am going to use Unilocal and any other site to tell my story. I hope, but doubt that you will treat other patrons with more dignity.

I walked by the window and was drawn in right away. I collect hearts and I saw quite a few that I have never seen before. I really could have bought several, but settled on one. I thought prices were reasonable. There’s a lot of «stuff» in this store, so if you have time to spare, it’s fun to explore everything. I found the staff very helpful and had a great experience.

This place is all about things that you won’t need in your life. A tourist trap full of stuff that ends up getting dropped off eventually at Salvation Army. So out of curiosity I walked in the store and as I always feel bad so small business owners I bought a couple if things to help their business. The 1 star is the lowest I could give on Unilocal for the worse customer service I have ever encountered in retail. disrespectful, condescending racist OC at lowest. I wish you could give it below ZERO. I bought a crystal fish and a humming bird feeder for my wife. Frankly that was the only usable thing I could find besides all the buzz are items on display. It turns out that my wife didn’t like the colors and wanted to return it. When I brought it back the manager refused to acknowledge my existence soon as I told one of the ladies that I have a return. After 18 minutes of waiting around, let me remind you that there were hardly anyone in the store. The store manager approaches me and says. «We don’t have a return policy» which I was never informed and she walks away. At this point I requested to talk to the owner, she shouts from the other side of the store «the owner is not available». I walked out and called back the next day to leave a message for the owner, the same behavior.
Few days later, my wife and I stopped by the store the crazy money hungry manager approached my wife trying to sell a new garbage as she didn’t recognize my wife was with me! So, my wife politely asks her about returning the items, at this pint she recognizes me and starts speaking super loud while her tone changes to a complete crazy psycho! Telling us there’s no return policy and the owner apparently is dead!
Stay away from this place as you can find cheap artsy pieces anywhere much better and cheaper. Please be aware.

Great store, awesome customer service and wonderful positive affirmations of all sorts, unique, positive, beautiful gifts!

This store is one of the places my wife always likes to visit when we come to Laguna Beach. To me it is a store full of stuff you don’t really need — things you hang on the wall or place on a shelf. While a lot of it is funky and quirky, it’s all mass produced stuff that I’ve seen in other shops.
If you like rocks that have inspirational words printed on them, this is your go-​to place.

This place is definitely super fun to browse around in! They sell mostly trendy/​vintage/​homemade miscellaneous things, a lot of artsy décor like oddly shaped clocks, Galileo thermometers, wall boards with inspirational quotes on them, etc. There’s a lot of little (and big!) trinkets and unique merchandise to look at but everything is really pricy. This place is basically your typical modern day «hipster» kind of store with bizarre yet tasteful things. To be honest I would love to grab everything here and decorate my plain apartment walls with all this cool stuff but alas, poor college student is poor :(
Its a shame photographs aren’t allowed in the store. Everything there was so interesting and creative and picture worthy. Workers here seem pretty nice and attentive and don’t hover while you browse.
Overall, pretty neat place to check out and admire the things on sale. Definitely worth a look if you’re around the area!

Walked by the window of Art For The Soul & was immediately drawn in by the colorful, eclectic, assortment of this-​n-​that
The eyes are assaulted (in a good way) by all kinds of colorful beaded jewelry, hand-​painted picture frames, & Spiritiles — the copper & fused glass blocks w/​little sayings. There are also little statues, objects des arts & really, just about anything fun & funky you can imagine
Had we the table space, we could have gone crazy w/​a number of handmade boxes made out of mirrors & 1-​of-​a-​kind handmade marbles; & there were other puzzle boxes made out of elaborately handcarved woods
We were especially taken by their case of Watch Craft watches, which are all-​metal watches, hand-​painted & gilded w/​a casing of oxidized metals in silver & copper. The bands for these watches are metal as well w/​large bracelets & thinner ones alike.
I chose a larger watch face w/​a thinner band — I really liked the contrast for how they paired w/​each other & even better was when someone took out the needed links so that it could fit my wrist w/​out me having to take it to a jewelry shop to get it sized!
People were super nice & everyone was smiling — I would too if I worked here! We were greeted multiple times & asked repeatedly if we had been assisted… at the end of our purchase, we were asked to choose our «Lesson for the Day» which were fun cards that talked about personalities & ways to better yourself
Also provided them w/​my email address before we left & got back home to find a sweet thank you note & a hope I’ll love my watch (& I do!)
My «Lesson» said something about wisdom & the importance of sharing my wisdom w/​those around me — like my love for this shop… enter Unilocal :-)

Cool, creative merchandise with reasonable prices (especially considering you’re in Laguna Beach).
BEWARE: Parking in the area can be a nightmare. And the parking enforcement in the city is always in high gear so don’t chance a ticket. Bring plenty of change for meters.

This place reminds me of Urban Outfitters :)
It has some funky, vintage art that is modern and fun!
The store is creatively put together and there are so many pieces to choose from.
Necklaces, frames, artwork, bracelets, charms, books, etc.
The staff is very knowledgeable about their products as well– from what it’s made of, why it’s great, what it would be useful for etc. (Then again, they could just be really good sales people too: P)
Be aware though! You can’t take pictures of anything in the store!

This shop is in the touristy area of Laguna Beach amongst a whole area of shops. They carry some rather unique and whimsical items to decorate your home with. I liked their clocks that they had.

awesome spot to grab a little present for the person you love. but not the cheapest spot. you can still find unique little things that will not set you back too much, but beware, they are like candy shops, you cant stop at one little token of love!

Cool unique store with very artsy items. This store tries so hard to keep their items just theirs by placing NO PHOTO signs all over the store. The staff had to ask two people within 5 minutes of being in this store to please not take a picture and reminded them that its posted on the walls. Great birthday gift store or house warming gift store!

The items for sale are great, but the service is NOT! The sales women was following my friend and i around acting like she expected us to take something. When i spoke to her, she said it was her job; wow, great job.
