Had one of the worst nights ever here. I have no idea why the previous reviews were so good. The check in was delayed because the desk clerk was more interested in tending to a computer printer problem for over 5 minutes while I stood there after driving 460 miles. Now, here’s the main problem: the hotel and our room were filthy. There was black mold in the corners of the bathroom floor near the tub, something white dripping down the bath door, and something(guess what) brown under the toilet seat. The room smelled moldy too. Why did we stay? Because we were exhausted and didn’t notice the problem until we had unpacked the car. We reported the aforementioned conditions to the front desk the next morning and were told we would receive a partial refund. My wife was told it would be $ 20 and that was the best they could do. She told them we would report our experience to their corporate office. We later received a call that they were issuing a better result. Honestly, we would have preferred a clean room. Our recent experiences have demonstrated a serious lack of an appropriate number of employees. However, how hard is it for housekeeping to report a mold issue? We’ll never stay here again. Zero stars!

We went to New Orleans during the last Xmas holiday. We stayed here twice, going from Florence, SC to New Orleans and coming back. It was very nice, and directly behind the Cracker Barrel. The only criticism is that it is a smoking motel, but we didn’t smell much smoke. We liked it very much. It cost about $ 66.

I was traveling solo for a trip to LaGrange, and Harris County, and had a great experience with Baymont Inn. Prior to my solo trip, I attended a family reunion which was booked at the Best Western across the road, needless to say, I would’ve preferred the Baymont, based on cleanliness, and overall feel of the property. The rooms are clean, front desk staff, helpful, and friendly. The continental breakfast is nothing too fancy, but enough to get coffee, cereals, juice, and pastries for free. Pet friendly, and located in an area within walking distance to Cracker Barrel, Waffle House, and Chick Fil A. Great deal at a great location.

We had a last-minute, no reservations stay at the LaGrange, GA Baymont — selected based on Unilocal and TripAdvisor ratings. We were not misled. The Baymont was clean, VERY quiet, courteous staff and very reasonably priced($ 63 + $ 10 pet fee). All rooms open into an interior hallway — safer but requires a longer haul with your luggage. Wireless internet gave a solid connection. The HVAC will run constantly(as opposed to cycling off and on with a thermostat) — which we perfer because it masks outside noise. The room was basic but clean. The shower head was great — a full flow instead of the miserly nozzles found at most hotels these days. The free breakfast bar was fair — but included a waffle maker if one is so inclined. Coffee was good. Recommended for a budget minded traveler who only wants a clean, quiet, safe and reasonably priced place to sleep.
