Tippecanoe Asphalt Maintenance & Paving

I didn’t exactly receive service from this company, but that’s the point of this review. I called this establishment about a week ago to request a quote for installing a new concrete driveway (yes, they told me that they do concrete work in addition to asphalt), and replacing the sidewalk at my residence. A few days later, I was called back, and told that someone would come by my house on Thursday afternoon, in order to provide an estimate. I took off work early for this express purpose, and was only called approximately 30 minutes before the appointment to say that the individual could no longer make the time — we rescheduled for the next day. Again, I took off of work early, and waited patiently as the 4:30 appointment time came and went. Nobody ever showed up, and I never received a phone call with an apology or a request to reschedule (again).
There is no excuse for such rude and unprofessional behavior, and needless to say, I decided to take my business elsewhere.
Edit: After contacting them via email, Tippecanoe Asphalt offered an apology, and explained that the person I was supposed to meet with on Friday suffered an injury. However, I don’t believe that this warrants no phone call whatsoever, so I am only upgrading my rating by one star.
