This review is for the catering and event planning side of Susan Foord. I used SFC for my July 12th wedding and I am SOHAPPY I went with this«mom n’ pop» company, instead of going through a fancy winery/country club. They took care of everything I needed/wanted, stayed within my budget, always gave me a quote/estimate before charging and answered all my questions/worries within a timely matter. My guests RAVED about the food, the atmosphere, the flowers, the service and said it was the wedding of the century, which made me so proud since I couldn’t(finacially and morally) go crazy. Jaye, the planner, was wonderful, attentive and made sure to put me at ease. There was an intial hiccup with communication and a changing of planners that put me on edge/made me nervous, but was quickly reassured that they were the company for the job. Ginny was great at answering all my emails and communicating all the changes/additions to my wedding. Overall, a spectacular job and I was sure to recommend them to my friends and family and to any future bride. Thank SFC for making my day better than I am imagined and a HUGE thanks to Jaye and her crew. You guys are rockstars!

Pleasant little place. I had been curious to check this place our for years now. So on my way back from San Francisco, I decided to stop by Trader Joe’s to pick up some grocery’s. That’s when I rediscovered this place and decided it was the perfect opportunity to check them out being It was close to my dinner time, and I was getting quite hungry. It was late afternoon after the crowds had dissipated, which left me being the lone ranger. I was then greeted and taken care of one of the owners John. He was incredibly nice and gave me a little history about the family owned business and how they got started. All these years I thought this place was specifically for catering only, and that this spot was only for pick ups ect. Totally wrong. Cute little place with a nice little decent amount of tables and seating. And they offer a quite appealing lunch and dinner menu. Oh, and at some incredibly reasonable prices. I ended up ordering a glass of their Cabernet Sauvignon for $ 5.00. It actually turned out quite decent in taste. Glass was just a little dirty on the outside. For food, I ordered the Sourdough Crusted Chicken Breast with Bearnaise Sauce over a Rice Pilaf for $ 9.75. The dish was presented deliciously appealing. The Sourdough Crusted chicken along with the sauce, was quite tasty. Sauce could had been a bit hotter, though it was still creamy, tasteful and complemented the crusted chicken perfectly. The rice pilaf was unfortunately too dry however, I really enjoyed the dried cranberries mixed within it. The ceasar salad it came with was also enjoyable. Overall, I really enjoyed my quick little visit here. The owner was extremely personable and accommodating. The food was good, and the prices also seem quite reasonable. I will certainly be back to try some additional specialties.

Nice little spot across from Trader Joe’s. Very small, but sandwiches are good and quick. I’ve heard rave reviews about their soups, haven’t tried them yet & the salads look delish as well.

I brought lunch to a CPA firm. When you walk in the place smells amazing! They had wonderful looking kettle chips that I wish were on my eating plan. I did splurge and have a BLTA salad mmmmm bacon. The food was excellent. I called a head and the order was on time and everything correct. Next time I will make it my cheat meal and have their tri-tip and chips!

I’ve never used them as a caterer, but have had lunch at their headquarters several times. Between the couple tables outside and few inside there isn’t much seating, but it’s a great place to get sandwiches, soup or salads to go. The carved turkey sandwich with cranberry mayo and the ham and Gruyère sandwich are my two favorites. The everything but the kitchen sink salad is my go to salad. Their ingredients are fresh and the food reliably good. I haven’t had any of the soups yet, but can’t wait to try them as it’s getting colder and colder outside. Also there are tons of beautiful looking desserts that I need to sample in the near future. Yummy.
