It’s good and it’s what you’d expect from a chain everything taste the same the great part about this place you can buy beer. I will say the french fries are really good and the hamburgers are fresh and the service is always good and location never fails to be clean

I have no idea how, but my burger was cold and the bun was soggy 2 minutes after they made it.

Visited this location after having good experiences at other locations. Ordered 3 burgers, the toppings were wrong on one and on another they forgot the meat entirely! Not impressed.

As a part of a burger stand off, my family and I visited Smashburger. Overall, we really enjoyed the food. The fries were crispy, the burger was good — it was obviously fresh, and the shake alone we all agreed was worth going to smashburger. The service was also great. Caleb and Cody were very friendly and attentive. We were very pleased with our experience.

I was reluctant to eat here, due to mediocre experiences in California. However, being that Smashburger was founded in Denver, CO, I decided to give this location a try. There are about 7 booths and 2 – 3 tables inside. More seating outside. I built my own chicken smash($ 6.29); it was delicious. I couldn’t decide if I liked the chicken thin & oversized. It was a bit awkward taking bites of my sandwich with so much of the chicken protruding out. The smash fries($ 2.99 for a large) were plentiful & fresh. The wait was a bit longer than I anticipated. Granted, there was a line of about 8 people at around 8:30pm. Next time, I’ll probably order online– their smash & dash. Saves time waiting for food. Overall, I would give this place 3.5 stars. It has somewhat restored my faith in the Smashburger franchise. The prices are still a bit steep for a fast food joint, though. The meal in the photo you see costs about $ 9.28.

Placed online order that was sent downtown by mistake. People here made the food and cost was covered by original online order. Best thing was they were happy and friendly to do it. Best customer service and I am now a promoter.

I haven’t been to a Smashburger that I didn’t like. Their food is always hot, fresh and oh so tasty! The wait is never long. I especially enjoy the Lafayette location, even though at times it does get a little messy in there. I don’t really care, it’s a burger place — people go in and out all day long. Eating at Smashburger is messy because it’s so deliciously juicy! Love the place, yummy!

It’s decent, no complaints, it’s a fast food burger chain. There you go, three stars. It can’t get better, it is what it is.

The smash fries are unbelievable! The truffle mushroom burger was good too. But this place is extremely small. The line was to the door the entire time we were here for dinner and every table was taken(there are only 10 inside). It’s awkward finding a place to stand and wait for your food. We also were out running errands and planned to eat there because we were so hungry, but without seating we had to get our food to go and drive home to eat.

My friend and I went for early dinner yesterday. This restaurant was filthy! There were very few people ther, yet they could not get my order right. Onion rings were greasy and very salty, although I had asked for low salt. If this place were in Mexico or India I might expect it to be grimey, but not in Colorado. Ugh! Won’t be back.

Well, I have eaten here often and the burgers and fries are what you would expect. A step above fast food, but not as good as Larkburger or their other competitors. Their onion rings are mediocre. Their shakes are great. But today — their service really pissed me off. We wanted to order in advance for take-out and their online ordering service is offline. We called and they said they couldn’t take orders over the phone but we could order online. When I said their online system was down, they said, «yeah it has been for 4 days».(Then why did he tell me to order online?) So I asked to order over the phone and he said no, I could come in and order. If I wanted to do that, I wouldn’t have called. When I asked why I couldn’t place an order, he rudely said«its my decision, and we’re busy so we are not taking online orders». We were planning to order 10 burgers, fries, shakes etc., over $ 100. I hope a manager reads this and tries to figure out what is wrong with this picture. We’re not going to Smash anytime soon…

We’ve been here several times and the staff is almost always very friendly… the burgers are good and the smashfries are usually good but they’re not as spectacular as everyone seems to make them out to be,…the last time we had them they were drowning in a pool of oil so I really should have asked for new ones… sweet potato fries are good but the veggie fries aren’t really worth it in my opinion… you might as well just get the fries… The salad I have had several times is very tasty and generous in portion, think it is the Harvest, I start getting all these places confused! And I typically get a chicken burger or the Swiss Mushroom burger… both are very tasty and I have to admit that the truffle mayo is really delicious! I even like to dip my fries in them(when they’re cooked nice and light)…my hubby’s favorite is the Spicy Baja which he gets all the time… and now you have an option to have a small or regular size burger, which is a nice option to have. The kids have gotten their milkshakes but I prefer their unlimited soda :) The place in Lafayette is usually pretty busy between 7 – 8:30pm and we’ve had to wait a while for our take out when we got it… it’s a nice quick place to grab a bite, though I have to agree with another reviewer that the place does seem on the dirty side for some reason… so if the place was a little cleaner I would give it a higher rating(not even gonna look at the kitchen floor or else I might not want to eat there!)

My family and I have been to the one at 95th and Arapahoe a couple times lately. While the food is generally good, the place itself is nasty. The kitchen floor looked really bad(my wife commented to me before I said anything to her), the tables were dirty and the floors were also covered with food and trash in the eating areas. Given the number of employees on hand I think they need to clean up the place.

Great service, very friendly; however, food left to be desired. I think the regular sized burger is more tasty and cooked better than the big burger. If you have a coupon then this place is closer to 4 stars. However, I’ve had many, many, many better tasting burgers. So, discount… go. no discount, wait for discount.

We love coming here as they have great food and vegetarian burger options. But we were shocked when we discovered they fry in animal fat — and they don’t disclose this anywhere! For a vegetarian-friendly burger place, they sure miss the mark. We stopped going here.

I was in the Lafayette area for work, and stopped at Smashburger around lunchtime. The place was busy, with a line forming to the door and limited seating for me and my colleague and her son as we waited in line(hoping to get a spot to sit indoors). I was ravenous, and ordered the Classic Smash. As I was paying, I spotted an employee pulling something red and green from the deep fryer and curious, asked what that was. Needless to say, I got myself an order of Veggie Frites. Perhaps because of hitting the lunch hour rush, the place had more of a casual diner feel which seemed appropriate to go with burgers. I didn’t care for the amount of sauce that was added on my burger – someone was overly generous so my burger was plenty messy – but my Classic Smash was really flavorful and juicy. Having tried another burger place not too recently, I have to say I preferred Smashburger. The Veggie Frites were interesting. I liked the crunch of carrot and green bean along with the side dip, and it gave the illusion I was eating my vegetables. $ 10 plus tax for burgers, frites, and a drink seems a fair deal for fare that you don’t get from drive through. It’d be interesting to try the same chain in the Boulder area.

Smashburger is one of my families favorite burger joints. I love the way they make their patties, they are so juicy and perfect every time. Plus the smash sauce is delicious. You have to get their egg bun as well, so light and tasty. I always get their sweet potato fries or their smash fries, both are amazing. Now they offer a varieties of salads and even gluten free buns. If you are in the mood for a juicy burger you have to try Smashburger:)

Don’t go here if you’re gluten free! If you go on their website, and click«allergen info» it will come up with a pdf. Apparently, the burgers have wheat in them, as do the fries. Smashburger needs to do a better job of letting people with allergies know what they are getting. I had no idea until someone told me, and I looked up the allergy info myself. Needless to say, I’m not coming back.

The last few times we’ve been into the Lafayette location have been disappointing. The floors and tables are dirty, clean up seems to take a while. The bad music they choose too play is often too loud. The food? It’s gone downhill as well. Where is management? The place seems to be run by high school kids. Too bad. Icon Burger was great. The early SmashBurger was great too. Since then, it seems like management is out to lunch.

MYFIRSTBIGCITYREVIEWINCOLORADO! We finally made our way out of small town Rocky Ford and found our new home in Boulder County. I’m just sad to make my first local burger joint review a 2 star write up. Smashburger, we heard so much about you that we wanted to stop by and give you a try. The service was OKAY. The guy that rang me up wasn’t the most helpful and actually made me feel, shall I say it, dumb because I didn’t know that the burgers already came with certain produce. Give me a break, I’m a first timer! I also wasn’t very happy to find that our bill was a hefty $ 30+ after ordering a chicken sandwich, spicy black bean burger, an original burger, with additional fries and haystack onion rings, a soda, and a shake. Our orders started to roll out and my haystack onion rings were a disappointment. A mere«hand fling»(not even a hand full) of fried onions were presented in front of us. The burgers were also a bit thin and the only thing going for them were the toppings. I was heartbroken! I hate to say it but I guess I’m just use to having more of a gourmet type burger with that price tag. IMHO, a 6 dollar burger from Carl’s Jr. has more to offer. I’ll stop the bashing because people seem to love this place. I see that the taste is better then your average McDonalds and FRESH is their claim. I get it. I’m just not sold all around. I had it once and I don’t think I’ll be back again. =(
