Papa John’s Pizza

Horrible deliver time! Email confirmation said 30 – 40 minutes, but too over an hour. No apology, no explanation. The staff really didn’t care about my order. Poor representation of the franchise!!!

Papa john’s pizza is good. it tastes like it’s freshly baked in-​house with real ingredients… hence the slogan «better ingredients, better pizza.»
It’s a pizza place, and the pizza is good. i especially like the thin crust.
Here’s the problem: pjohn’s prices are outrageous. order a single large pizza, slap on the «delivery fee» that doesnt go to the driver, then add a tip, and you’re looking at $ 25ish for a large pizza. You can find mediocre deals with coupons, but some of them are only valid on certain days of the week. wtf? i’ve heard of movie theaters jacking up their prices on weekends, but pizza joints are doing it too now?
Finally, the delivery and customer service is horrible. Yeah, they will forget the dipping sauce, or soda, or some other part of your order. yeah, the delivery is slowwwwww. yeah, the driver will drop the pizza right in front of you and act like nothing happened (happened to me.)
update: I ordered a pizza and it took over 2 hours for the delivery to arrive. So then I get a phone call from the driver saying she cant find my door. i live on main street, it’s not like it takes a compass and a map — even if it did, shouldnt a professional delivery driver be able to find any address? I made up my mind not to tip the driver after she took over 2 hours and couldnt find a building on main street. Then the driver turned out to be pregnant, so of course i couldnt no-​tip a pregnant girl. so now im sitting here eating overprice ice-​cold pizza and thinking: this is unacceptable and I wont be ordering from this particular papa johns ever again. oh, and they forgot the dipping sauce AGAIN!

Ordered a single topping pizza and the order came to $ 17.85. A little expensive for a pizza so I said «I think I am going to try somewhere else». Employee immediately offered me a coupon and my total went to $ 12.25. Very nice of him but, a little SHADY in my opinion. Buyer beware!

If you like Papa John’s pizza, this location makes it just like all the others. I have found nothing to complain about here, and since I happen to like their pizza, I say «go for it»!
