Old Skool Cycles

Old skool Cycles? Where are they? there not here I know that much, the bikes they have here are all over priced. This place is in a bad location. They have some bmx dvd’s there and a bad selection of bikes they do some repair work here that’s about the only I would go there for.

Old Skool Cycles caught my eye with a lot of BMX bikes in the window. Don’t take the name too seriously though — by and far, they stock brand new bikes of all kinds. Most of the in stock items are BMX street or race bikes, but they do have some urban, mountain and recreational bikes in stock and can order just about anything you might want.
The owner is a super nice guy, does a good job on repairs and knows a lot about all kinds of cycles. I’ve had my mountain bike and BMX bikes in for repair and he’s done an excellent job from truing wheels to full assembly. Old Skool doesn’t have as large of an in-​stock inventory as Hodsons or even Mulhaupts, but I prefer to go there because it’s a lot more comfortable dealing with John and his son. They really go the extra mile on personalized service.
If you’re into BMX bikes, definitely hit up Old School, best selection in town of the good stuff. If you’re into other types of bikes, check them out for repair and parts, or just advice.
