Lafayette Gardens Apartments

I’ve been living here now for several months. I searched high and low in this general area of Lafayette (south side!!)/Youngsville/Broussard for apartments and homes to lease and or rent. For some reason I always came back to Lafayette Gardens. The atmosphere and location are truly great, in my opinion. The staff has been very helpful the few times I’ve had questions or just needed to relay something to them. Mrs. Glenda is GOLDEN! Constantly smiling and super nice. Maintenance is pretty responsive but I’ve only needed them once. However, there is some outdoor lighting (several lamp poles) that I’ve mentioned several times to maintenance relative to needing replacement but hasn’t been done yet. Another tenant mentioned the same thing to me regarding the lights not being replaced. A couple of months have gone by for that request not being taken care of…
The complex is a gated community; which is very nice. The grounds are kept up very nicely and are always super clean. I’ve enjoyed my stay here so far and I really have no serious complaints at all. I will be here until the time comes for purchasing a home, unless something unforeseen takes a turn for the worst with Lafayette Gardens. To management: keep up the good job. With the exception of a few glitches (nothing major), you folks are great! Thanks for an enjoyable stay this far.
With all of that being said, it is quite a bit pricy so be prepared.
