Afraid of shots? Not anymore! After 40 years, I finally have someone who takes her time and humbly puts the patient first. So professional and such a friendly staff, I almost never write these except to warn people of certain businesses. Not today. Lafayette has a great dentist in Dr. Jessica… Still not sure how to pronounce the last name.

Dentists freak me out and I tend to avoid them whenever possible. Dr. Schellinck put my fears at ease. She was very gentle, knowledgeable, and friendly — and her work is solid! The office staff was also very welcoming and helpful.
Note: Parking lot is on O’Connor Drive. Be careful not to pass it.

I am new to the area and was looking for a dentist. Happened upon Dr. Schellinck’s office and am glad I did. Knowledgable, friendly staff. Efficient appointment. Easy integration with my insurance.
Some dentist offices have given me the idea that their short term revenue was more of a priority than my long-​term care. I felt the exact opposite here. That’s why I’ll keep coming back.

I have always been very skeptical about dentists, and it took me awhile to trust one in Lafayette… Betty Vodzak. I was with her only a few years, and then without my knowledge she sold the business to Jessica Schellinck. I was very apprehensive to continue in Lafayette when my hometown is 15 miles away. However, to my surprise, Dr. Schellinck was even better than Dr. Vodak. Both have wonderful dispositions, but Dr. Schellinck is more current with the dentistry of today and is moving the business to a more modern technology. She’s also very thorough, and her personality is fantastic. I guess I’m staying supporting a Lafayette business!

After 30 years with the same dentist, I was more than a little apprehensive to start with someone new, but what can you do when yours retires? I went to see Dr. Schellinck (with an emergency, no less!) because I broke a tooth on an almond. She was AWESOME! Thoughtful, caring, gentle ~ I was thoroughly impressed! Turns out I had really broken the whole thing off and had to be referred for extraction, but I’ve been back to Dr. Schellinck since then for cleanings, etc. The whole staff is really welcoming; professional, but fun and congenial. Grateful to have gotten so lucky right out of the gate. Looking forward to a new 30 years with the same dentist!
