I used Holiday Inn Express’s business room for a sales training class in March. Jason was a pleasure to deal with and helped us navigate all the particulars with a keen attention to detail that made it go smoothly. I would definitely recommend this hotel for similar meetings and training events. It’s rare that we have someone as helpful as Jason when we set these up throughout the country.

It’s a nice basic hotel. It’s rather pricy — 179 for a room that is pretty basic. And I booked two rooms, when we checked in first they tried to give us rooms on different floors. When I said I’d wait for a second room on the same floor because we were traveling with my mother-in-law(love, her) and we didn’t want her so far away, they«found» another room on our floor. However they put us in two even numbered rooms, one on one side of the elevator bank and one on the other. Then 10 minutes later they gave a bride and her parents the rooms right next to our two rooms. I still can’t figure out why they didn’t give us to rooms next door and the other family two rooms next door. Well, the bride proceeded to set up a floral making shop and beauty parlor outside our room at 7:00 am on Saturday. We were annoyed by the hotel because had they just put us in the correct rooms the bride could have had the whole little corner to herself without making it hard for us to get out of our room(literally had to steer around her floral stuff on the floor with my rolling suitcase) and waking my mother in law up with the constant slamming of the doors as people went in and out of the parents room too. Seems like an elementary thing, two rooms on the same reservation should be next door to each other. Usually we stay at the hilton garden inn because its closer to Purdue’s campus. After this experience I booked all the rest of my stays at the hilton because its the same price, the rooms are nicer and the staff always puts my family in next door rooms, without my having to ask.

We stayed here during Purdue’s homecoming so paid way too much for the room but this is a newer Holiday Inn so at least we had a high ceiling and the room was big and the bathroom more roomy than the older hotels. We stayed 2 nights and found the bed comfy and the water running hot whenever we wanted it. I’m not giving this more stars due to the two loud staffers at the front desk when we arrived who were shouting back and forth over our reservation and juggling some other person’s reservation and making us wait for our room key while all this«management» was being displayed. The place is of course wheelchair accessible
