I have been there a few times to just look around. One visit I bought a desk chair and was quite happy with the price and condition of the chair. I have a few pieces that I want to get rid of, so what better place to get«rid» of them than the garage sale store. I contacted the store and they told me to send pictures and a price for what I’d want. I did and was contacted a few days later. We agreed on $ 100 for all of the items. I felt that was a fair price and decided to move forecast with selling them. I loaded a few items in my car and drove to the store. When I got there I was treated rudely by the woman at the front and was told that Id be given $ 75IFTHEYWEREINGOODCONDITION, and Dominick left specific instructions that I was to be given $ 75 for all of the pieces. What happened to the $ 100 that he and I agreed on? I left with my items and told them that they practice bad business. This place uses perfect bait and switch tactics, thinking you won’t leave without SOMEMONEY. But I did. And it wasn’t the $ 25 difference. It was the way they treated me and the way they inferred that I was lying about the original quote that«Dominick» gave me. Oh and — Dominick was not reachable by phone since he was«on the road» and most likely wouldn’t answer his phone — yeah rigghhhttttt… Stay away from this place — unless you want to be ripped off and treated rudely and as if YOU are doing THEM a favor by shopping there.
