I found this spot on Unilocal Ordered the General tsaos and it was OK. Not much chicken chunksjust crunchy pieces on a plate. Small spot, maybe some other dishes are good but I wouldn’t travel back for that again

This review is based on a to-go order that I placed. I ordered the general Tsp chicken as well as the pork fried rice as reviewed by another Unilocal review here. First timeliness… They told me the order would be ready in 15 minutes and I got there 20 minutes later(I always like to give companies a little extra time so that I don’t have to wait), when I arrived my order was all bagged up and absolutely ready to go… Great job! Service… The woman who greeted me at the front counter, gave me the bill and my order, was extremely friendly and her service was wonderful. She did have a cough which was going around but I gave it a pass as far as the ratings are concerned due to the fact that she really wasn’t handling any of the food but something to at least mention. Overall service was fantastic The food. The pork fried rice was amazing! A meal in itself really. The General Tso chicken was also great, not as amazing as the pork fried rice. Portions… A+, lots of food. Price. Kind of a bait and switch, which is why I knocked a star down. The online menu reflects that my order should have cost $ 15.20, when I got there the order was $ 19+. It’s just a few extra dollars, but the advertised pricing should be correct. Would I recommend this place? Yes. It’s a great hole-in-the-wall find

I went here over the summer, had a nice meal. Then with my wife we had good portions of vegetarian food, but hope they improve their health code rating. We only learned of their C rating after we got delivery. It was very good food, and it was a big help when we were sick in January, 2016. if they bring it back to an A, we might consider another visit.

If only I could give zero stars. This place is intentionally defrauding customers and should be reported. I ordered a pickup based on the menu that their listing on Google directs you to. The price should have been about $ 15.70. When I get there to collect it I am charged $ 19.25. Hold on now, that’s quite a jump. When I questioned it, I was told that it costs money to update the online menu! Maybe you can pay for it by using the money that your customers are paying above and beyond what they think they are going to be charged. She handed me the menu to show me what the actual prices were. The price of the three items at the higher rate came to $ 16.90 before tax. I was charged $ 19.25. Maybe I wasn’t your best target lady as I’m a sales tax accountant. A nice little scam going there charging 12.2% tax. When I challenged her on the rate of tax they were charging the woman walked away from me. I trust that extra tax is being remitted in full to CDOR?

This is the best Chinese restaurant we’ve been to in a while! We thought it was super yummy and will definitely be back soon!

This place is an older Chinese restaurant with that set in feel, it’s very dim inside due to having 7 of 12 light fixtures out. The service wasn’t too bad and the food was good, but here’s what really got me, we order the Garlic Chicken, Kung Pow Chicken, and one small soup. $ 7.50 per plate, $ 1.50 for the small soup, $ 16.50 total before tax. I get the bill and it’s an even $ 19.50, I ask why after I add it up at the register and the woman says that’s tax, I said that’s not right and she changed it to $ 18.95. With a max CO sales tax of 7.39% after local surtaxes my bill should’ve been $ 17.72. Lost my business immediately.

I work just a couple of blocks away from this restaurant, and not only is it consistently good but the prices are really good too! I just bought the lunch combo and got chicken lo mein, steamed rice, an eggroll, and egg drop soup for $ 6! Great Food, Great Business!!!

I’m a foodie and amateur cook from California, I’ve had lots of restaurant Chinese food. Short sentences, to the point, no rambling. — I’ve eaten here twice, to make sure they didn’t get lucky the first time. Sure enough, they were consistently flippin awesome. — Pork fried rice: A+ It was the best I’ve had in a decade. Most places make it bland, this place is truly awesome. The competition doesn’t make it like this. — Sweet n Sour Pork, I rarely order this, but felt adventurous. A+ for a very tasty and unique sauce, A for unique fried batter style, B+ for the meat within. Over all, the sauce was like no other place I’ve had it, somehow, it was a cut above the run of the mill. Very Good Dish. — General Tsao’s Chicken — A+ for sauce, this restaurant consistently brings unique flavors to their sauces that is a level above everyone else. A– for fried batter/texture. Its very good, just not quite perfect. Again, better than the competition. Very Good Dish. What you won’t like: — 1st impression: You’ll drive past this place and think twice before pulling off the side of the road. It’s a hole in the wall, with a funny yellow sign that is not that inviting. The — Décor? not great. Why these things don’t matter: — Imagine how freaking tasty a food cart in the streets of Beijing would be? Doesn’t look that great, but the food is a Chinese miracle. THAT is what this place tastes like. The food is all that matters in a place like this, and it’s awesome.

I ordered takeout last night. I didn’t call ahead because I needed their menu. It’s a typical Chinese take out restaurant. Customer service was great, the women said my food would be ready in 15min and it was. I ordered the dinner for two; mandarin beef and beef with broccoli, one egg drop soup and the other wonton, with the appetizer platter. Everything tasted fine, like I said it’s your typical Chinese take out.

Not overly salty, no mystery meat, genuine flavor as well as prompt delivery. IMHO this is the best Chinese I have ever had in the Front Range region. It tastes authentic and has reasonably sized portions.

Decided to switch it up from the usual(Pearl Wok) and try a new place. Pretty disappointed. The sweet & sour chicken was average at best. The sauce was one of the blandest I’ve had. Also tried the orange chicken. It was basically the sweet & sour chicken soaked in a not spicy orange sauce. The broccoli however was good. Delivery took rather long and they forgot the fried rice.

Found this hole in the wallish looking place at the SE corner of S. Boulder and Public Rd. To our pleasant surprise, it was cozy inside, family owned, courteous service, and GREAT food. we had the sesame and kung pao chicken. we’re stoked to have finally found a good chinese eat!
