Did an amazing job with my concert posters. Recommended frame style and color and it really pops! My wife, who hated the posters even approves! haha. Super nice guys and even better work.

I don’t think I’ve ever taken the time to write a review on Unilocal,even though I often receive excellent customer service, enjoy delicious food, etc… But this is different! My partner and I bought a couple of funky vintage framed prints, but when we put them up on the wall, we noticed that the prints were wavy under the glass. My partner is an artist and knew that this sometimes happens with watercolor paintings or when paper is exposed to moisture. We were so in love with the framed prints that we must not have noticed… and they weren’t cheap! So we wanted to address the waviness/​warping. We took it first to a popular local framer in WC and the guy there recommended he basically permanently adhere it to foam board that was NOT acid-​free (their glue was acid-​neutral), which meant that our art would be permanently mounted on cheap foam board AND would yellow over time because of the glue they use. So instead I called Anthony, proprietor of Fast Frame in Lafayette, and HE WAS AMAZING… Over the phone he kindly suggested I bring in the art so that he could assess everything («Like a doctor would a patient»). As he was assessing our beloved art and BEFORE we gave him our business, he cleaned out the debris from between the art and glass and put felt pads behind the frame, etc. He clearly explained to us how paper and framing work and offered a solution that was reversible (i.e., non-​permanent) and acid-​free — wet mounting. Not only was his solution EXACTLY what we were looking for, but it was also the most affordable option (and I’m the type who never pays retail). We just picked the art up this morning and put it back up on the wall; (he even changed the mounting hardware on the frame and included a nail and hook). (Check out the photo I posted.) We’re extremely happy with Lafayette’s Fast Frame and will take all our art there from now on!

I was working on a college graduation gift for my daughter and needed some framing help. I’ve had bad experiences in the past with frame shops. Snooty proprietors, long wait times and expensive outcomes; so I was dubious walking in.
Needless to say, this was my first time in this shop. Anthony was super courteous, welcoming and extremely accommodating! He quickly hooked me up perfectly with exactly what I needed and sent me on my way. The price was right too.
I give this shop my highest recommendation!

I have two beautiful custom frames for my great grandfather’s canvas paintings, they look great! My only complaint is that it was a tad pricey.

On my way to ask Anthony to help me reframe a picture I, ill-​advisedly, had framed elsewhere. Honestly, we have had so many pictures framed here, from tiny to huge, from photos to posters, and we have only been happy… well sometimes ecstatic… Anthony is wonderful, has a fabulous eye, listens to what YOU want, and is incredibly easy to work with. No point in going elsewhere, really!

Wow — so impressed by the incredibly knowledgable staff, particularly the owner, Anthony. I am a professional photographer and would only take my images to the BEST place and this is it. We are so lucky to have big city talent with small town care. Fantastic place!!!

I’ve had several pieces done here and have been happy with the speed and the workmanship. Anthony owns the place and has always been generous with his time and money helping local causes, but the bottom line is whether I’ll go there again for framing the the answer is a resounding YES!
