Gross! Our last time here! We travel a lot! Eat at Cracker Barrels often. first time I will mark one off list! We got raw sausage patties… burnt hamburger steak… and the sawmill gravy had a strange taste that we could not put our finger on… ordered eggs over easy… the yellows were more like hard and no runny yellow at all… asked for crisp bacon… ha! Well if they cannot cook breakfast… no point stopping! Keep rolling folks!

This is a convenient stop right off the interstate. Plenty of gas pumps outside. The restrooms only had a couple of stalls but were reasonably clean and up to date. There is a good size store with plenty of drinks and snacks. I would definitely stop here again.

Cracker Barrels do not exist in California, so the food, kitschy décor, and clientele are downright exotic. Get the fried okra, biscuits, and chicken fried chicken. The chicken and dumplings are a gluey hot mess

Scrambled eggs were done quickly and were not appetizing. Grits turned to mush when you add butter. Place was over crowed and food and service suffered. Not a good experience.

Horrible. Absolutely horrible. If I could possibly give a restaurant 0 stars I would in this case. First of all the service was terrible. It took an hour and a half for our food to get there and they changed our waiters at 1 point, almost seeming to forget we were even there. They forgot several parts of our order. And the food. I haven’t even begun to describe the food. The french toast tasted horribly bland and dry, the syrup was cold, the bacon was cold, and the dishes were filthy! Also having to do with the sanitation, at the beginning of the meal they wiped our table off with a towel they dropped on the floor. RIGHTINFRONTOFOUREYES! And the bathrooms. Oh, the bathrooms. Contrary to what was said on the sign outside the bathroom door they obviously didn’t strive to keep the bathroom clean and didn’t pay any attention to the customer’s requests. It’s reeked so badly I got out of there as fast as as my little legs could carry me. Overall, horrible. Although what’s strange is it didn’t reflect any of the characteristics of the cracker barrels in texas, which are usually rich with their country pride and hospitality. In summary, I’m probably not going to be going to a louisiana cracker barrel again anytime soon. America.

The food was decent… that is the last good thing I have to say about the place. Waitress made two visits, one to take the order, and one to drop off the food and check. Never received refills, never asked if there were any issues, etc. Highly disappointed. Had not visited a Cracker Barrel since I was a kid, and it will be a long time before I go back. There is too much good food in Lafayette to settle.

Ordered breakfast which included biscuits when our meal arrived no biscuits. The waiter said it would only be a couple minutes even though we saw numerous orders come out with them After much complaint the biscuits came out after we finished eating. Bad business Won’t go back

This will more than likely be my last trip to this cracker barrel. The service was some of the worse I have ever experienced. Our waitress took our order and brought our drinks then vanished. Once the food came she gave us the check and was gone for good. We even had to get our own to go container. I realize I shouldn’t have expected much, but this was really pitiful. The reason i gave two stars is that the food was actually decent. If you want horrible service and decent food this cracker barrel is for you.
