Very negative experience with customer service will not be returning to this location again. Whoever the two girls were who were working at 1pm on Thursday the 18th feb with dark hair and foreign accent one with glasses were extremely rude and unprofessional. I asked to build my own burrito and they started to fill a carton box with rice. I said no I want a burrito and they said you can’t do build it yourself for a burrito only for tacos and bowls and then proceeded to ask me if I wanted a taco. I said no I want to build my own burrito because I want it to be vegan so I want to tell you what I want in it which they just responded to by laughing. I continued to say I’ve done this many times and they continued to say that I couldn’t. After a long back and forth finally one just said so you just want a burrito? And I said yes! And she said that’s not called build it yourself that’s just called burrito. So they spent over 5 minutes arguing over semantics when it’s clear what I wanted. Also the laughing at my food is very disrespectful I suggest management look into getting more friendly employees with higher IQs.

I’ve never written a bad review before but this warranted a first. When I walked in I had to wait for two minutes for the people behind the counter to stop talking and acknowledge me. Then it just got worse. I had to keep reminding them of the ingredients I wanted. My burrito ended up looking horrible bc the girl didn’t know how to wrap it and my sisters quesadilla had cheese on half of it. I asked for sides and one girl forgot to give them too me and another forgot to ring me up for it even though I mentioned it again. I could understand all this if it was peak time or super busy but it wasn’t. I was the only one in the store.

The burrito was as expected, decent like many Chipotles I’ve been to. The difference is the customer service. No one seems happy to serve you. This is a service job. I’m active duty military and when I said«do you offer a military discount», the tattooed lady working the register gave me a harsh look and snapped«no». The rest of the short interaction was super cold like I did something wrong for even asking. Not offering a discount is not a deal breaker, trying to make me feel bad for asking is. Here’s a tip Chipotle, when everyone has the same product, customer service is what sets you apart. I think I’ll spend my money somewhere else.

Ordered a couple of burritos to go over the phone and they were ready when I got there. Lots of people seem to have had problems with this Chipotle, but the food we ordered turned out fine and with no mistakes. Hopefully they’ve improved, but I had no complaints.

Terrible customer service! Many Employees seem annoyed to deal with customers. Found beef in my vegetarian safritas bowl??? I don’t eat meat… Employees may consider not cross contaminating.

All the goodwill that corporate tries to put forward to get you into a Chipotle comes to a grinding halt at this particular location. Surly, resentful workers who give you zero eye contact, seem baffled by requests for fair portion sizes, and like they are about to cry just filling out one order. I don’t understand the hiring practices here. It’s like barely contained teen angst is a requirement for employment. I only come here for the location, but if you can, Walnut Creek is a different world in terms of a welcoming atmosphere. The food is still good, but their prices are creepin’, and the bathrooms are clean. Terrible parking lot– multiple accidents waiting to happen.

I like Chipotle a lot! This location gives smaller portions of meat in the burritos, tacos, quesadillas. .. There are standard off menu items like a quesadilla with meat that is inexpensive — yet this place robs you by charging you for a burito price. What a joke! Standard fare is okay if you get past the attitude. If you like the standard off menu prices find another local Chipotle they respect your money there.

Literally the worst chipotle I’ve ever been to. I walked in today to order dinner for my family and I’m not kidding when I say this… their portion sizes are ridiculous. The guy scooping the rice/beans/meat literally gave me nothing. When I asked for extra rice they all looked at me like I’m crazy. You would think since their prices are going up, they’d at least give you your money’s worth… nope. *Don’t be afraid to ask for an extra scoop of rice/beans etc*(Extra meat will cost you extra money) Seriously, I’m paying $ 10+ per bowl, I expect to get $ 10 worth of food. ANDONTOPOFTHAT… one measly scoop of guacamole is almost $ 3? Are you kidding me. I might as well buy my own avocados to make my own guacamole!!! No thanks! As for the workers there, I understand you were taught how much to scoop and what not but seriously… with one scoop of rice I could see 90% of the bottom of the burrito bowl. I honestly don’t have this big of a problem at other chipotle’s. I usually always ask for an extra scoop of rice but today I literally wanted to tell him to fill it halfway just because. Ugh!

I don’t think they’re taught how to wrap a burrito… the moment I tore open the foil my entire burrito fell apart.

Worst chipotle I’ve ever been to… If I could give it no stars I would. They give you a small scoop of rice, and about nine pieces of chicken. The brown rice was a bit too undercooked. The corn was pretty much frozen, lack of lime juice. Best to drive to Walnut Creek to get your Chipotle instead, you’ll actually get more for your money.

I don’t know what has happened to Chipotle. I used to love the food and the experience. It has gone downhill fast. My wife ordered me a burrito with the kids for me when I got home. She got home and sent me this text message upon unloading the bag: They made you a ridiculously small burrito. Just warning you it looks like a ½ size burrito I got home and she was right. It was ridiculously small. I should have taken a picture to post here. Full price of course. What a rip off! Looks like we are done with Chipotle.

I hate writing a bad review, but this place somehow managed to screw up something so easy that everyone loves, chipotle! I’m not even sure where to start. The staff seem very young and are definitely not enthusiastic to be there, so might even say«lazy». Somehow the portions always end up being significantly smaller than at other chipotle locations and the food is just not as tasty. I will admit that there are times that I’ve driven to the chipotle in Walnut Creek because I’ve had a hankering for what I’ve gotten used to as the quality and flavor that chipotle has to offer.

The reviews for this place is true, while the service is great, the portions they give you is ridiculous. My coworker and I came at a great time because there were barely any people in line and inside but of course people started trickling inside a little afterwards but no big because we were going to be next. I ordered their steak burrito w/brown rice, light sour cream, light cheese and lettuce. No big deal for small portions for the sour cream, cheese and lettuce but they give so little rice, beans and of course(like all chipotles) little meat. For $ 8+, not worth the price at this location. But besides the food. Staff is super nice. I always add their smoked chipotle sauce on my burrito but they didn’t have any near where they usually are so I asked and the worker gladly got some for me. Great staff, just not so great portions given.

I really don’t like this location of Chipotle! They absolutely rip me off when it comes to burrito bowls and that’s the only kind of type of meal I get when I go to Chipotle. This location in particular is closest to my workplace so I basically have no choice but this one when I’m at work of course. But most certainly the portion of food I get is what really ticks me off. I never get beans and I ask for extra white rice to compensate the subtraction of the beans. When I do ask for it, they put the smallest scoops of rice I’ve ever seen. Especially with the salsa, cheese, or lettuce, they grab a full pinch, not a handful, a full pinch of cheese or lettuce. With the salsa, they put half a scoop. Give enough to me as I ask, please. What’s the deal here Lafayette Chipotle? Is it that your manager is making your employees not hearing what I’m really trying to order or that your are you having a shortage of produce and poultry? I don’t get it at all! My stomach isn’t nearly full after the serving I get from this location. Other locations are more than happy to give me more of what I want. Well hopefully you guys change up soon because I don’t want to get the same lousy portion that I’ve always been getting lately

Really small burrito bowl here. I live nearby and have gotten it 5 times or so recently. Every single one has been a WTF experience. Still an OK deal but not nearly as good as any other Chipotle you’ve ever been to.

I was craving for Chipotle so I figured I’d drop by this location that I had never been to before. I ordered the typical burrito and ended up getting something slightly bigger than the El Monterey microwavable burrito. I was trying to convince myself that maybe the worker was trying to help me lose weight by giving me a small one, until I took a bite and realize the fajita vegetable is cold, as in refrigerator cold… Needless to say, I have been to better places, so probably would just skip this location next time.

Wow I will never go too this chipotle ever again! I faxed in my order and it’s completely wrong! I asked for double steak because if you don’t they only give you a half of scoop and its literally like eight pieces of steak in my Burrito bowl! I also asked for extra rice and corn salsa and what did I get… Nothing I asked for but they charged me for double steak!!!

When I was younger, it seemed like my two little brothers would NEV-ER grow up. It’s as if they were going to forever be eating, sleeping, pooping, crying, whining, little minions. But just last Saturday, I dropped off the older of the two of them at his high school to take the SAT. And as I drove back home I cackled maniacally. Just kidding. That’s a joke. Seriously. I actually felt bad for the poor guy. So bad, in fact, that I offered to take him to one of his favorite spots, Chipotle. I personally prefer the deliciousness that is the queso at Freebirds, but was I the one who had to endure 3 hours and 45 minutes of essay writing and bubble filling? No ma’am. Saturday was HIS day. My little brothers are actually really great people. Really and truly. The older of the two is especially generous and when I asked him if he would rather go to Chipotle right after the test, or wait until our mom got home from work in the evening, he agreed to wait until much later. Our youngest brother was out skateboarding with a friend, though, so we said to heck with him. No. No we did not. We got him something to-go. The Chipotle in Lafayette is between a rock and a hard place, a Safeway and a Whole Paycheck. Parking can be a real pain, but at 6PM last Saturday, we managed to find a spot just a few cars down from the place. There were about 10 people ahead of us in line, which actually isn’t all that bad since I’ve seen the line extend out the door before. We got our food without any hassle, paid, got our sodas, found seats, and chowed down. My brother’s sentiments concerning their portion sizes seem to match up with the various reviews I’ve been reading for fellow Unilocalers. I dunno. Maybe my stomach has shrunk, but the steak bowl that I got was plenty filling, and there were chunks of steak in every bite. The seating up at the front is pretty cool. I admire that fact that whoever designed this place managed to find a great balance in terms of finding intimacy for groups of people that came together, but also mainting space for personal bubbles. You see, the tables for two are close enough together that if you were, say, a group of four, you’d feel relatively comfortable carrying on conversation within your little quad; but, at the same time, there’s a bit of space between each table that provides enough distance from those strangers your parents always warned you not to talk to.
