Bay Wide Properties

This is by far the worst experience i have ever had with a property management company. Awful customer service, awful attitude, and overall lacking in any type of knowledge that could be benificial to one who is looking to rent their property

I can speak for myself only, but I have to say that based on my experience, Bay Wide is a really good property management company. It has managed a residential property for me for more than a decade, and has been very responsive and done a really great job of resolving some issues and problems that have come up. My experiences with Derek have all been extremely positive.

I agree with Scott. Hands down the worst property management company I have ever seen. Left me with a vacancy for several months ,
hired an out of town roofer who charged $ 10,000 to fix a roof that is
stiil leaking. I could go on and on but quite frankly Derek is not worth the
time. As Scott B said in his review … RUN !!!

Scott and the team at Bay Wide are the best. We moved from Danville to the OC last October, and Bay Wide not only found us tenants for our house in Danville within a week of our move, but has made being a long-​distance landlord completely painless. They even went an extra mile for us recently when we thought we might be moving back to the Bay Area, and started scouting homes to try and get our kids back into the same school district. I wholeheartedly recommend them, and would be willing to talk to anyone who has questions about them.

I have utilized the BWP management team for the last five years, most recently to find a new tenant for my property after the tenant unexpectedly broke their lease due to the economic downturn. During that time the majority of my contact has been with Derek, with additional interactions with Jennifer and Scott.
Overall I have been very happy with the service I have received. The management team appears to make great use of the internet and networks effectively with local real estate professionals for quick tenant placement. Their suggestions to me as a landlord are well thought out and reasonable, and prior tenants have reported having no problems interacting with the management staff at BWP. Good work! Recommended.

If you are considering using this company to manage your property OR will be under the management of this company you are in a for the worst experience of your life.
think everything bad — then multiply by two.
Derek is one of the property mangers and has one of those «i’M POWERLESS IN LIFE BUT I HAVE POWER OVER YOU» attitudes and make what could be a good company probably the worst in the bay area
