Great selection, cold and non refrigerated. Friendly and helpful staff. Tonight(9÷19÷14) the guy working brought the case to my car! Not necessary but certainly nice and much appreciated!

I really wanted to like this place. I moved into the area a few months ago, and have been searching for a GOOD beer distributor with knowledgeable staff and a broad selection. I moved from Wayne, PA… and would buy most of my beer from the Beer Yard. This place simply does not compare as far as selection or staff. The one thing that really bugged me is: Twice I went in there asking if they had received any stock of a certain seasonal beer… and twice they told me «Oh, that one has not come out yet.» They took me for a fool as I knew full well that the seasonal had already been released and that they had it in other stores… stores that unfortunately were a much further drive. Either they lied straight to my face, or they just didn’t know. Either way it’s not good for business. Also, they love to reach behind the counter and show you«rare» beers… that they won’t sell you. Dude, don’t show me something that I can’t buy! Not going back there.

When am I not in a good mood when going to buy beer; so I’m all smiles when I come in to chat with Luke, Paul, JT and the gang. This small haven off Germantown(near Joshua) stocks a great selection of local and imported brews considering the relatively small size of the place. These poor guys have been patient enough to search out my bizarre foreign and domestic requests so don’t hesitate to ask them if you’re a beer snob like myself. They also know their brews well so feel free to ask about flavors you haven’t tried; I haven’t found one that they weren’t familiar with yet.
