just let’s say… if you’re not a size 0, don’t stop in! The women who work there are all older but they dress like they are 18 in the overpriced, teeny bopper clothing! They absolutely size you up the minute you walk in to determine how much you could potentially spend. I am not a 0 or a 6 so there was not much for me there in the item that I was looking for. The sales girl basically told me nothing in your size… and then walked away! RUDE! Another woman must have seen how rude she was and came over to gracefully tell me they had nothing. I guess that’s why they all work there and not in the real«world» because their social skills are lacking and they wouldn’t know a real professional, as I am, if they saw one. The lovely, shallow ladies there should only know that they sized up the wrong person because I had plenty of $$$ to spend even though I wasn’t a size 0! Shame on them. Save your money and go anywhere but there…

I’ve been in this tiny shop a few times and have been overwhelmed by the prices and underwhelmed by the customer service. But I was on a mission earlier this week for a black cardigan and figured I’d stop by because it was on my way home. I couldn’t have been happier with my experience. The women who work there were attentive, outgoing and really helpful. And while I left without a black sweater, I did leave with 5 other items that I flipped out for, including a black Rozae Nichols skirt, a couple of dresses and a Tre silk blouse. Yes, I spent way more than I usually do on clothing but it was worth it(I’m telling myself that these are«investment pieces.») First Impressions also has a killer sale a few times a year, and it’s going on right now. I was able to get a black lace Twelfth Street By Cynthia Vincent dress, which was originally $ 349, for $ 25. That’s right. $ 25 big ones for a designer dress that fits me perfectly and looks lovely. The sale is tucked away upstairs, so make sure you check it out.
