The Summit

Let me make this very simple. The place sucks, the food sucks, and the customer service is for sh*t. They treat you like animals here. The bar is a joke. Don’t waste your time or money here go to the Lackawaxen Inn.

Just make sure you don’t speed on the way in (radar trap).

Typical bar fair. The food always comes out hot and the orders are correct, staff is welcoming. The place is way overpriced for the area and takes advantage of the tourist. You can eat better for the price in the upscale local shops.

I did not expect this at a ski lodge. The food is fantastic, the prices are more than reasonable. Miles above the other local fare, but the truth is that this place would stand out anywhere.

What a pleasant surprise. Went with friends and was our first time back in a few years. Service and food were excellent. The special appetizers were quite good and the Tuna in a corn crisp was a delight. Now that Joseph G is back the restaurant will hopefully continue to stay as a place to return to.
Will definitely be back.

The food is good.
We started with a cheese quesadilla, which was okay. It was cooked perfectly but it lacked flavor, maybe b/​c there wasn’t a lot of filling. I would have preferred housemade salsa, but it’s not a Mexican restaurant. Yo quiero Taco Bell — no, no, it’s not *that* bad.
I had a BLT, which was quite tasty, but there was slightly too much bread for the amount of BLT on the inside. But the ingredients were fantastic. The fries were good.
My one friend had a bowl of chili. It was housemade and tasted fine.
My other friend had penne pasta alfredo. It was good.
The service was good.
The view is amazing!
Was it a memorable meal? Not really. Will we be back? Almost certainly, since it’s the only restaurant in the community!

We love coming there everytime we are near by. Love Chef John’s specials and they are different each week. Saturday night create your own pasta night. During summer they have Tiki bar outside by the pool.
