Ordered Supreme Green Skillet. Skillet was cool to the touch and none of the ingredients had been sautéed. As a rule I don’t send food back in a restaurant, so I just won’t be coming back to this one…

This was probably the worst service I’ve ever had. I took my son here cus that’s where he wanted to go for breakfast. We get in and wait for probably 5 mins for someone to even acknowledge we were there. Once they did, the gentleman didn’t even ask how I was doing etc… Not even a hi. He just asked how many? I said 2. He didn’t say anything. Didn’t even say how long the wait was if we were next nothing. We waited about 20 mins before my son got bored and hungry so I tried to find someone to tell that we were no longer wanting to wait but no one could be found. Very bad experience. And we didn’t even get the chance to eat. I was very disappointed.

Not a good experience. Went for breakfast with my parents. The service was really slow even though it wasn’t that busy. I ordered the pecan pancakes, scrambled eggs, hash brown and sausage. The hash browns were cold by the time I got them and the scrambled eggs had egg shells in them. My dad ordered the Siracha burger and broccoli soup and never got the burger. We didn’t wanna wait longer for them to make one so we just waited for our server to come back to get a to go box but I still ended up having to go up to the counter and ask a different server for one. Then on the way out some old guy almost hit us in the parking lot.

My husband and I visited the Denny’s a few weeks ago. Our waitperson was attentive, jovial, and good at answering my questions about gluten/wheat free food. I was assured that I would not be contaminated.(I didn’t have any ill-effects) I was amazed by their menu and the many food items noted as gluten free(GF). I had their burger and fries with a GF English muffin. It was very good and didn’t upset my stomach like the one at the Pacific Ave. SW location in Lakewood. The atmosphere was casual, not overly loud. We will definitely be visiting this Denny’s again.

Wouldn’t usually write a review about a Denny’s since its everywhere and its nothing special. We went there to get out ta the cold and get something cheap off the value menu. Walked in and was told they aren’t making food for another 2 hours. It was 4pm. The waitress said they only had soup and salad. We asked to have a cup of coffee and were never given a menu. The man in the kitchen was just constantly starring at us sitting at the table even after he apologized for the loud«construction» they were doing in the kitchen, very uncomfortable and weird. It was extremely loud from their banging in the kitchen. We were very hungry and decided to order to bowls of soup. They were really really small bowls. They were far less than what you would get from a can of progresso soup. We got our check and it came to 15! Not discounted even a little for not having Amy food options or having to sit through loud hammering and drills in the kitchen. We will never go back to this restaurant.

The friendliest staff in town. Hands down. If you don’t enjoy your experience with these hard working, kind and funny staff, you can personally hunt me down and tell me all about it. I try to avoid writing reviews for chain restaurants because I figure everyone knows what they are going to get at a Denny’s no matter where you are. And this Denny’s is no different. Consistent food, and I do love that Denny’s is offering healthier options. But really, from what I can tell, any time of day is a great day to go to this Denny’s for the wonderful, amazing staff.

I love the atmosphere of this diner! It still has a little old school feel to it. The food was great and quick! Also, our server was Courtney and she was absolutely fantastic, she never let our coffee get lower than half!

Forgot an item I ordered and was billed for. Added an item that someone else ordered to my bill. Good thing I was paying attention, because there was a lack of attention to detail on their part.

Service was great but the cook needs to be trained to not cook food in burnt pieces. Or maybe have the cook clean his/her grill more often, like after each meal. Sausage was OLD and was tough and leathery. Not a good experience.

Typical Denny’s. Service was average not bad, not great. I do admit I love the value menu, I did get the special bird which is grilled sourdough with melted Swiss cheese, tomato, and thinly sliced turkey and it was delicious. It comes with your option of fries, seasoned fries, onion rings or cheese fries. My husband got country fried chicken and he liked it.

I will not return to this Denny’s after the way my daughter and I were treated last week. I am sad; this has been our favorite Denny’s for over eight years. Here was our experience: We went out for my birthday during a weekday, at 8:30 p.m. The restaurant was less than one-third full when we arrived and never got busier. I did not want my free birthday Grand Slam for dinner and asked to have it to go at the end of the meal. Our waitress told us we were not allowed to take it out of the restaurant. My daughter had ordered a steak and eggs, but after being told the free birthday Grand Slam breakfast had to stay, my daughter said she would eat my breakfast meal and have the steak and eggs to go instead. When the waitress asked her what four items she wanted for the Grand Slam, my daughter asked for the buttermilk biscuit as one of the items. And this is where the meal went bizarrely south: «Are you sure you really want that? I have to make that biscuit myself,» the waitress said. I was freaking dumbfounded. When my daughter(sheepishly) said she did want the biscuit, the waitress was not pleased. When our meals came, the steak and eggs take-out came with them. I smelled something burnt and told my daughter I thought someone burned something in the kitchen. My daughter and I were too full to finish our meals and appetizer. Over half of the nachos and my fish were still left, as was the garlic toast that came with the Grand Slam. My daughter wanted to take the toast, even though we were told we could not take the Grand Slam outside, so I told my daughter to switch the basic toast in the steak and eggs meal with the garlic toast. When she opened the take-out container, we realized what we had smelled — the toast in the bottom of the container was blackened. We would not have seen it until we got home if we had not looked. We switched out the toasts and left the burnt toast on the table. The waitress handed us the bill without asking if we wanted coffee or cake or dessert. She did not bring take-out containers. She did not refill our drinks a single time, and I had gone through my iced tea much earlier in the meal. In fact, after she set the bill down in the middle of our dinner, she never came back. She stood around a while and then was seated with another table next to us. I heard her tell one of the customers at that table that she had to make the buttermilk biscuit, too. We waited to see if she would come back, at least to give us take-out containers. We sat for a bit. We took turns going to the bathroom. She never returned, even though she only had a few tables. We left the nachos and the fish. I tip twenty percent on the average, but you would think that I was a total deadbeat by the way she treated us. When we paid, she refused to give me my military discount, citing the birthday breakfast as the reason. So between extremely poor service, having buttermilk biscuit guilt bestowed upon us, being refused our military discount, and the slowly dropping quality of the food in the past year, we are done with this Denny’s for good. I don’t know if the place switched owners, or management, or if a new corporate entity bought it, but the restaurant is not what it once was. If I am in that part of Lacey again and am hungry, I will be going across the street to Shari’s.

I have been here many times while in town visiting family. This time I am staying next door and late night this is one of the only places open. The food is average, staff is friendly and prices are decent. Bonus is that they have a lounge that happy hour. well, it’s every hour.

My wife and I were seated right away and then forgot about. After 5 minutes we were asked what we wanted to drink. We asked for coffee and another 5 minutes later our«waitress» sat another couple instead of giving us our drinks. We walked out immediately. What’s worse is the only other table our server had asked to be checked out because they’ve never had to wait so long for their food. The General Manager, Becky, showed no interest in what was happening as she was busy having her own get together in the bar. Never again will we set foot in this place.

The wait time was ridiculous considering the amount of open tables. Waitress forgot numerous aspects of our order and needed reminding multiple times. Majority of «food» was brought to us cold. Aforementioned«food», if served to inmates, would be considered cruel and unusual punishment. I will never be returning to this shit-hole and would never refer anyone but my worst enemies to come here.

I gave this Denny’s a one star due to the horrible customer service. Got seated and waited 15 minutes to get our order taken and kept getting yelled at from across the dining hall from the manager that«give her a minute, she will be right with you. Went to pay and had an online Denny’s rewards coupon for 20% off from Denny’s rewards and she said she couldn’t use if because it wasn’t on my card. I said it was an online reward and she said next time tell us before you place your order and she can apply it to my bill. Ridiculous. Awful management.

I went there last nite and it was horrible! The bathroom was disgusting crap smeared all over the servers sucked the manager or owner who ever she was was a bitch! The dish washer was obviously on meth. I also watched somebody’s food sit in the window 22 minutes before anyone came to get it. I will never be back

Don’t eat here if you’re vegetarian. Worst customer service. Greasy disgusting food. Unfortunately, IHOP was closed so I had to come here for breakfast late at night. Worst mistake. I know there are limited places to eat here but try not to waste your money here. I was told I had to pay for meat in my meal even though I didn’t want it. The waitress gave me no other options then charged me 2.00 $ for an egg and an additional 0.80 $ for cheese and FORCED me to order meat. I paid for food I won’t eat and then paid 3.00 $ for one egg with cheese. The manager was equally rude about it and then stood there arguing with me about how IHOP and Sheri’s are worse. Seriously, you defend your rude behavior and inability to work with customers and provide excellent customer service by slamming other companies. You’re saying you’re the lesser of the shitty restaurants so I basically have no choice but to deal with you? Great defense. I have never had a problem at IHOP with customer service. Also their food is way better with an awesome selection. Too bad I couldn’t have had a delicious crêpe instead from IHOP as Denny’s doesn’t even offer that. I will definitely steer clear from here as long as it’s up to me.
