truly the worst rudest service ever. All i wanted was for the server to put a lid on the two cups coffee i ordered to go. Her steadfast refusal and stament, «not my job», certainly has lost me as a constomer for life and i usrge other to shop elsewhere

This is our favorite coffee shop in the Lacey/Olympia area and we are particularly delighted to have it in our town. If I could give it more than five stars I would because every aspect from the friendliness and competence of the staff, the quality of the coffee and food, the cleanliness of the entire facility, the responsiveness of the owners, and the general ambiance are beyond excellent. We are among the«regulars» who enjoy gathering with friends and neighbors to enjoy stimulating coffee with our conversation. We are particularly grateful to the owners for providing a space that is welcoming to students and retirees, but also setting appropriate limits so that«cybersquatters» do not overstay or monopolize the tables beyond reasonable time. After all this is a coffee shop, not a private workplace!

This is my favorite coffee bar in the area. I usually stop in one or more times a week. I also go to the Dancing Goats on Market street and the one at Bayview grocery as well, but the Lacey location is my favorite. The others are in-and-outs only for me. The staff at the Lacey bar is outstanding and of course the Batdorf and Bronson coffee is, in my opinion, the best of any I have had anywhere in the state. Note: Blue Star coffee in Twisp, WA is really close though. The atmosphere of the Lacey bar is very much like a neighborhood hangout but slightly nicer if that makes sense. I see the same people there all the time which is a good indicator of quality service and products. It is the only coffee bar I go to if I need to do work because even when packed it is super quiet. I really can’t say enough good about the place. I guess I have been there over a hundred times.

This is my favorite coffee spot of all time– the syrup they use for their mochas is so delicious! Staff is always friendly and they offer gluten free snacks too!

I’m going to be THAT person who rates a place based on one very quick visit, but… it was really good! I’ll probably be coming here in the future whenever I’m in town for business. it’s not too far from the hotel I usually stay at. So I was very glad to find a place to get something other than yucky hotel coffee or Charbucks.

The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because they only have 2 electrical plugs in the entire restaurant, so staying here all day to do work seems to be frowned upon. Other than that, it is fabulous meeting space, delicious coffee, and they gave a very nice selection of breakfast and lunch options, that they get through a local Washington company. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the bathrooms are clean and the lighting and décor is very tasteful. A nice place to come and spend time chatting, and is easily accessible by bus, as the metro station is right across the street and they have a very large private parking lot so you don’t have to fight with parallel parking. If I get a computer that has a longer battery life, I would definitely consider making this a regular hangout.

BEST coffee in town! I love that they are consistent. Great seating as well. Yummy homemade pastries and sandwiches.

Great Batdorf coffee, and this location has great wifi. Downstream wifi speeds are 60 mbps, upstream is 10 mbps, latency is 20 – 50 ms on the west coast. Seating is nice and open, but there is only one good table to not get glare on your computer screen.

When I was here recently and in my power chair, I realized the door is not handicap accessible. However, two of the people who work there and another patron were all more than happy to help me. We DO live in a wonderful part of the country!

Strong coffee and a charming ambiance — I’m glad to have come across Dancing Goats! The bar itself features lots of seating — both table and armchair style — so you can easily hang out, work, read and sip. There is also outdoor seating in case you’d prefer to sit in the sun a bit. I really enjoyed their latte — well flavored and velvety smooth. Their zucchini bread was also solid and on point. Their staff are warm and friendly and inviting. Only drawback is that I cant(or shouldn’t) make this place my go to coffee bar since they sell coffee at NY prices! Still, for an indulgence, I would not hesitate to come back to Dancing Goats.

Packed house! & on an afternoon weekday! Many costumers were reading books, or had their laptops and paper projects out. Most were socializing. They also make sandwiches and have pastries available here! This must have been one of the tastiest mochas I’ve tasted!!! *My taste buds danced* The place was packed, so I took my drink :) even though I wanted to chill there. Parking in back. Close to bus line.

Dancing Goats is lovely, sweet, warm, inviting, delicious, and comfy. I found myself in Lacey for a couple of days and have been working here a bit, totally delighted by the sunny staff, yummy treats, and more than anything, the warm, happy, community living room feel it brings. People sitting around tables talking and laughing, enjoying friends and ideas. This place inspires me. Thank you!

My wife and I have both had cappuccino and the white chocolate mocha. The cappuccino here is the best I have had and has changed my way of thinking about the taste of an excellent espresso. «For here» coffee is served in ceramic cups. The Batdorf and Bronson espresso served here is excellent. The open seating area is great. Noise level is good such that one can have a conversation with your mate/friend without yelling. Staff is polite, friendly and efficient. As I said, the cappuccino is wonderful with great flavor profile and lingers on the tongue for a good 30 minutes after the cup is finished, down to the last spoonful of milk froth and coffee crema.

I’ve tried to give this place a shot. Step away from starbucks and give local places a chance but every time I’ve come here I’ve been extremely disappointed. The last three times my drinks as been messed up in various ways and just hasnt tasted good. If you want good coffee I’d suggest going elsewhere

You know the part when everyone looks at you when you walk in the door? Yeah, that one. So this place is convenient for some coffee and quick snacks. Easy parking, too. Nice change from Starbucks. Their coffee art is pretty cool, too. They also have a check-in kiosk, unlike their downtown location. After checking in 12 times, you get 1 free 12 oz. coffee. Which is like 2 bucks. Wish they were open on Sundays, though. See you next time, looky-loos.

Good coffee, locally roasted. I’ve been here less than a year, and have visited maybe once a week, but from the start, they were friendly and helpful. The coffee is strong, and medium-roast. Nice blends, and not burned to a crisp. The quiche is amazing, as are the pastries. And instead of fast food, try their breakfast sandwiches! With all the office workers around, they could open a full-service café there. I don’t know why they haven’t.

It’s been awhile since I’ve been here. I’m an iced coffee drinker. It was this coffee shop that introduced me to really good iced coffee. In fact, Eric, the owner explained to me how to make good iced coffee at home. The baked goods are delicious. The ambiance of the seating area is comfortable and relaxed. Nice clean bathrooms. I love this place

The name«Dancing Goats Coffee Bar» definitely caught my attention. That, and the close proximity to my hotel were good enough reasons to stop in for my morning fix. There are some places you walk into and instantly feel warm and welcome. That is the case here. I’m not sure if it was the orange, yellow and green color scheme, the large comfy chairs scattered around the corner café, but I was really digging the décor… as were a number of other people already hanging out. They also have a few outdoor tables it you want to enjoy some fresh air with your java. I looked over their menu selections, which are not too extensive, and ordered 20 oz. iced latte from the friendly lady behind the counter. Unfortunately, I had to take it to go and I didn’t get a chance to lounge in one of the big chairs. Probably a good thing because I would’ve sat there all morning. 3.5 Stars.
