Lunch specials are good here. Good variety and portion size. In my most recent visit, I had the lamb vindaloo lunch special($ 9.50). Dinner is quite expensive and portion sizes are smaller. Would recommend coming here for lunch.

I’ve been coming to Curry House from day one… it is consistently amazing food! I crave it all the time, I usually get the chicken tikka masala pretty spicy… my mouth is watering just thinking about it! Ive tried other dishes as well and never a disappointment the staff is always helpful and pleasant, just genuinely good people that obviously care about the food they place before you. A must try! And repeat…

The lunch special is HUGE! So much food! And delicious too. The garlic naan is delish. Probably one of the best Navarati Korma I’ve ever had. Ambiance is clean and inviting. They play Bollywood movies on a TV screen. Friendly and fast service.

The food is amazing. The lunch combos are a great value, alot of good food for the price. Love the Tika Masala, The Naan would be perfect but all of ours had at least one side burnt but that didn’t ruin anything for us. My kids loved the rice pudding dish as well. Besides the food being great the service and atmosphere are very welcoming. Will always go back.

I asked them if they could make my food vegan. They said ok, and then brought it to me w/paneer and ghee all over it. The waitress clearly didn’t care for us either.

This is hands down the best place to get Indian food in the greater Northwest area. If I lived in Tacoma, I would drive down just for this place. There is not a single place in all of Western Washington that offers the level of quality food and service that curry house does. If you read my other reviews, you will find that I am a picky brat when it comes to my food reviews but Unilocal does not have enough stars in their rating system to give Curry House what it deserves. 100 stars! Keep it up Curry House. Come here for a fantastic time!

Best Indian food in Thurston County. Carefully and generously spiced dishes. Even their rice had a special something(the best rice anywhere). @DukeDeUke #StayLifted

Curry corner is much better. The sauces here are very thin and not as rich. Maybe I’m partial and only came here because curry corner was closed.

Came here based on Unilocal reviews and was not disappointed! Really impressed by my lunch, not only are the portions huge but the meal was delicious and authentic. Spouse loved the lamb. samosa was the best I ever had. We will be frequenting here often.

Great authentic Indian food at such a small place between two big cities. On the way to Portland from Seattle this is the best place to have Indian food. Lunch buffet has multiple options for every taste buds I would recommend this place any day over other cuisines available in this area. Chicken curry is a must try here :)

Oh, man… I love this place. The one downside: I tend to spend more here than I hoped when I walked in. I wish I could afford to eat here more often.(I usually say this about my favorite $$ places) I had the chicken curry(medium spicy) with garlic naan and rice pudding. I should probably branch out, engage my curiosity a bit, but I just keep ordering this because for me it’s hit the spot. I probably would have left a 4-star rating, except that the last time I came in I was just grabbing take out because I was sick(don’t worry, I didn’t touch anything or sneeze). The staff seemed to sense this and were incredibly kind — they even seemed to step up the speed and service despite it being late/close to closing. That kind of thing leaves an impression.

People seem to love this place. Maybe it was an off night, maybe it’s just that there aren’t great Indian places in Lacey, who knows. When I arrived the restaurant was pretty crowded(around 5:30 on a weekend) and there were maybe three people waiting for pick up orders. We were very hungry so I was a little worried to see it looked like most people didn’t have any food at their table and that a number of people seemed antsy. We sat down and ordered pretty quickly, and then ended up waiting about an hour and a half to get our food. I had to remind the server to bring one thing, which isn’t really a big deal. Then I tasted the food and thought one of the dishes was pretty bad. It was bland and watery, and I was starving so my expectations of food were pretty low. I was a little annoyed only because I had thought a lot about going somewhere else while waiting for the food, and I wished I had. I was also a little annoyed that no one ever asked how things were. I probably would have said fine if they had, but given they hadn’t I flagged down the waitress to say we weren’t really liking the lentil dish too much. The way she handled it was the reason I feel like I can say this place isn’t great. She looked at me incredulously and didn’t respond, as if there was more for me to say. I said I was sorry and that I didn’t mean to be rude we just don’t like it. She said she wished I would have said something before. I didn’t really understand what this meant. Before ordering it? Before tasting it? I don’t know, but it wasn’t pleasant. Instead of taking the item we didn’t like off the bill, which is generally the protocol it seems, she gave us a free order of naan. Which was fine, if she had pleasant about it I wouldn’t have cared, but she wasn’t. Also while there I saw a man come in and say he was picking up and heard her respond, «well your food isn’t ready yet so you can just sit down». All these things individually would be fine, but all together made me feel annoyed.

Great food. Friendly staff. Chicken Tiki Marsala was especially good but it was all tasty! The side dishes are good too. My favorite Indian place!

YUMMO! Fantastic food, served hot and fresh with a smile. I ordered chicken curry lunch special. Could not finish the whole meal, I tried though. Music plays just a tad loud, other than that nothing else to say.

The lunch special is the way to go. Cheap, abundant, and so delicious. The lamb curry is my go-to. All of the vegetable sides are so good it’s hard to choose. The samosas are great but taste better when your dining in. You have to try this place, you won’t regret it.

Honestly, I’ve never eaten inside. I’ve only ever ordered take out. The food is AMAZING! The best Indian food I’ve tasted here in Thurston County. Of course, we of Thurston County aren’t blessed with many high end Indian food places, so of course, I’ve had better, but it’s still delicious and the best in the area. I can’t speak about the service except to say that they’re polite over the phone when I order and my husband says they are nice in person, too, when he picks up the order. My favorite things to order here are the Vegetable Korma, the Chicken Tikka Masala, the Butter Chicken, the lamb curry and the naan.

I used to think I didn’t like curry… But I’ve figured out, I just only like good curry. This is good curry. I got the lunch special and it was very generous. Lamb curry is very good. This place should get 4.75 stars… The deduction taken off only because they don’t have good English descriptions of the food, so I had to ask many questions to be clear about what I was ordering.

The lunch special is everything. Like other reviewers have commented, Curry House has an amazing lunch special. Their lunchtime is generous(11a-2.30p, Mon-Sat) and the cost is about $ 8. You select an entrée and a veggie side to go with a generous portion of basmati rice, two more savory/veggie sides, naan, and a dessert(the donut soaked in simple syrup). The food comes out on a metal tray and it’s a LOT of food. It’s really two people food because we only ate about half before packing the rest up for later. But the food was good. The sauces for each dish were good and spicy(I asked for a very spicy spice level). The lamb was tender. We didn’t really know what this one yogurt side was, but it was savory. Their daal is excellent! I asked for a hot chai which was perfectly spiced and sweetened. I didn’t get a refill nor did I ask for one, I would be curious if there is a charge for refills however. Service wise, we were taken care of quickly in the beginning until the food was dropped off, and after that we didn’t really receive any more attention from the servers. This was mostly ok but when it had been several minutes since we stopped eating, someone should have come by earlier. They were pretty full during lunch time, including a large party, so this can explain the lapse in service. Ambiance wise, the place is bare bones. The restaurant is located in a strip mall and so the only windows/natural light are found at the front of the restaurant. The restaurant is one room that may seat about 40 people. There is a shelf of ingredients one can purchase for their home cooking next to the register and a decorative curtain shielding where the restroom is. Otherwise there is not much by way of decorations. But since the food is good and a good value, I would return. Thank you!

I’m a newbie when it comes to Indian food. I ordered the chicken tikka marsala with vegetable korma, and vegetable samosas. The first thing that came out was the vegetable samosas. They were so good!!! I could eat these all day. I added some of the spicy sauce with it too. The chicken tikka marsala was a little sweet compared to what I’ve tried at different restaurants, not sure it that’s normal. The plus is that it was a huge portion! I took most of my food home. The naan seemed to be a little bit burned. The service here was just ok. It took them awhile to take our order because they assumed we wanted to wait till our whole party showed up. Also, we had to ask them for our checks after being done for awhile. Don’t know if I would come back here, but I will try Indian food again.
