I’ve always had good work here. I have very old glasses and this is the place for repairing glasses(other shops recommend Capital Eyes). The manager — who is a very nice guy and has been doing this stuff a long time — has welded broken frames for me, warmed and shaped ill-fitting frames bought elsewhere, and done some other stuff I can’t remember right now. When I finally get around to getting some new glasses, I’ll get them here(of course, Capital Eyes keeps refreshing my old ones so who knows when that will be).

My glasses broke and I was getting new frames at fred meyer when they told me capitol eyes may be able to fix them for a low cost. Turns out they were right, for 40 $ my glasses are back. If your glasses break this is the place to go, inexpensive and professional. I cant recommend these guys enough, total lifesavers!

My 7 year old sons glasses broke one day and it was our only pair, so I showed up looking for replacement frames. I was afraid new frames would be a huge chunk of money, but the man was so nice, and offered a very affordable pair. Thank you for saving our Christmas!

I really like supporting my local businesses over national chains, and this place really does earn your business. As a long-time patron of lenscrafters, I am happy to have an alternative. The reasons I switched to this place? You get more for your money here. First, lenscrafters is always having«sales» that look very impressive at first, but by the time you actually pay for what you really need, you are not getting any sort of deal. I then went to a very cheap route once(bought glasses in Fred Meyer) and the lenses were horrible. Things got blurry unless you looked directly ahead. I explained this to the lady there and she said that was normal for the lab they used! Now back to Capital Eyes. The prices are comparable to lenscrafters’ sales, but here you get a level of service you will not get at a chain. They actually know how to help you pick glasses that look good on your face. They really know the differences between the different lines of frames and can help you choose the most appropriate one for your budget. They do not try to oversell or nickle&dime you for things that you don’t want. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that you do not get glasses the same day. It takes a week or so, but for me, the attention to detail and the personal service are well worth it. Also, it is not as cheap as Fred Meyer or someplace like that.
