Tastee’s Donut

Just came for a lunch bagel sandwich. Got the smoked turkey on an egg bagel for $ 4.09. Great price and it hit the spot. Looking to come in the morning and try their donuts, or grab some bagels for work.

I come here for the bagels, because they are so fluffy and fresh! The only complaint I have is that they charge you .95 cents if you want your cream cheese on the side and not on your bagel.

My husbands friend bought us a bagel sandwich from here and it is the Best bagel sandwich ever!

The donuts are great, and the staff is very friendly, efficient and attentive. As soon as they see a line forming they help the next guest right away. When there are no customers waiting to buy, they keep busy and make sure the donut case is full.

There donuts are my absolute favorite! I would always come here to treat employees to some morning donuts. They are so fresh and delicious!

Every Election Day I come here to get donuts for my coworkers. They have the best donuts I’ve ever had. Been coming here since 2003 and the quality is amazing.

I used to come here once a week when I was in high school because their bagel sandwiches were cheap and delicious. Not much has changed since then! All of their bagels taste really fresh, but my go to bagel here is the jalapeño cheese bagel with jelly and cream cheese. As for the donuts, they’re really good. Definitely not on the same level as their bagels but still a cut above the average donut shop.

Best bagel sandwiches around and much better prices than baglery. I’ve come here since I was on Hs and that’s been a long time ago. The doughnuts are fresh and the service is great.

I can’t lie, I will be bias in this review.
I use to work at Tastee’s Donuts and boy, are their bagel sandwiches are to die for. I remember trying all different combination of meats and bagels. No place has a sandwich that makes my mouth water just by thinking of it.
Not only is their food delicious, the prices are doable. I’ve been coming there since I was little and of course, prices have risen, but within reason. For about $ 5 you can get a sandwich, bag of chips, and a medium drink (or a large drink without the chips).
Besides the bagels, they have delicious donuts, croissants, scones, and muffins baked fresh every morning. The donuts are a bit pricier than other places, but for the quality, I’d be willing to shell out the additional cents.
I’m glad I live close by because I still go there. Not to mention, the owners are such sweethearts!

I’ve been enjoying their sandwiches since my high school days when the Von’s was still there.
Same owners from before and same awesome bagel sandwiches from the good olé days.
Everything bagels go fast and I never know the price of the combo special sandwich/​chips/​soda I feel like it always changes.
I don’t know what they do differently but I’ve been to the bagelry and many other bagel sandwich places and nothing else compares.
Added bonus is the owner usually remembers faces maybe not names but he always has a nice greeting even though he always looks tired.
Minus 1 star cause I never know they’re hours and when I want to have a delicious Sammy they’re closed.

I’ve been going to Tastee’s Donus since the first time I went to La Verne in 2004 to meet my now-husband’s family. They have a tradition of picking up a dozen of Tastee’s every weekend, and I became hooked. It wasn’t just that the location was convenient (the closest donut shop to their house), it’s that they really are the best. A sweet family has owned the shop for several decades, and they are always busy when I’ve stopped by. Because I live out of state, I only go in 3 – 4 times a year. But they remember me and welcome me back into town each time.
Now for the donuts. The cherry cruellers are the best I’ve ever had. Just the right amount of moistness and sponginess. The glazed twist sets the standard for all glazed donuts, and my husband downs them faster than I can imagine eating a donut. The bavarian cream filled bismarcks are also delicious.
Oh man. Now I want a donut.

Jalapeño cheese bagels are the best with the whipped cream cheese. Donuts are good too.

Ive been going to this place since high school (a really long time ago unfortunately) and I could never ever complain about this place. The employees are always so nice! They are quick to help you out and they totally remember you. I will always come here before work to get a bagel for breakfast, and sometimes come here on my lunch break for a bagel sandwich. You really cant go wrong with any of the choices they have!

As soon as I walked in, I can smell some type of cleaning chemical. The smell was overpowering. And, I doubt it was because they just finished cleaning the place, and that’s why it smelled like that. I looked around, and it was not so clean. There was 2 empty tables, one was filthy and there was crumbs all over the table and on the floors. It’s possible that previous to me walking in, there was another family sitting at that table. Unfortunately, not everyone cleans after themselves.
If you ask me, why didn’t i just leave if it was that bad??? well, I wanted to give them benefit of the doubt. Plus, I didn’t want to be rude, AND i was rushing. I had to get a few bagel sandwiches for my boys. This was the closest place open that early. I watched how they were making them. They smothered a lot of mayo all over it. According to my boys, «Not too bad». I didn’t have any, so I can’t complain or comment on the food. However, since I payed for it, i must say, very reasonable prices.

Instead of calling this place Tastee Donut maybe they should have called it Tastee Bagels!
They do have a nice selection of donuts, if you get here early enough… get here later in the day and you run the risk of your choice being going. The have a good glazed donut and I personally like the apple fritters. I also am a bit partial to the French Curlers.
But, it seems the bagels are what get the raves from my friends. The have a very tasty selection of bagels. They also make a delicious bagel sandwiches that your just have to try. They also have a fantastic cream cheese spread. My friends tell me it is home made but I always seem to forget to ask.
Don’t forget to come early for the best selection. Especially on the weekends!

Why haven’t I reviewed the awesomess that is Tastee’s?!
I got here every Sunday morning for my Strawberry bagel on wheat or cranberry. I love the cream cheese — which is house made!
Great service, perfect prices… definitely the perfect morning treat! :) Highly recommended!

They offer a wide selection of donuts, though you have to be either early or lucky to get what you want since they seem to sell out WAY before they close! The glazed donut holes and apple fritters happen to make the top of my list… though after starting weight watchers again, I’m going to have to reluctantly stick to the…
BAGELS! Tons and tons of bagels! Again, show up early or you get maybe a ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ chance of getting what you are craving. The spinach bagels and jalepeno cheese bagels are the best hands down, and getting them with the garlic creamcheese or as a smoked turkey sandwich makes them even better!

I always get a bagel sandwich from here whenever I am in town. They are just that good!
I recently took my family here for a quick sandwich and my bagel hating step-​dad even declared his love for their bagels.
I have been going here since high school (almost 10 years!) and they have always been consistently delicious and fresh!
Plus the people that work there are so nice and helpful!
