Dr Boyer Optometry

The doctor is great but the staff is not helpful and highly money oriented. The prices for contact lenses and glasses are highly inflated. They push you to make a purchase right away and if you want time to think they become unpleasant. I checked the prices online and some of the glasses (frames) at another sunglass store $ 200 less. The lenses were $ 80 less online. I made my purchases accordingly.

I don’t want to sound misleading because I have been coming to this office for five years And I think this office is great! However, I came in to pick up my new glasses (I was so excited) and the lady who came to Greet me was not happy. She didn’t really say anything to me. I put the glasses on and she didn’t say a word! She didn’t ask me how they fit, or if I can see ok. I told her «I guess these feel okay???» and she says «well here is your receipt»! I felt really uncomfortable. I thought the point of coming in to pick up BRAND NEW glasses was to make sure your able to see and if they fit correctly. She may as well just thrown the glasses at me. I honestly don’t know what the point of sitting down and having her look at me when she isn’t even going to do that part of her job.
So I leave, and I notice that my left lense is a little blurry. We come back to the office and the guys who worked there were super awesome! They answered all our questions about my prescription and it turns out there was a mistake and they switched the lenses in my glasses, causing blurriness. They fixed them in 20 minutes and properly adjusted me. However, This is not the reason That I am writing this review !!! She made my mother and I feel very uncomfortable when we came back too by staring at us like she hates us. I am not aware of anything I did to her.
I’m also starting to wonder if they would of caught the mistake if she would of properly adjusted me. I hope they discuss this incident in the near future because they lost some very loyal customers. I really enjoy all the people who work here and the doctors so I am sad this happened.
Like the doctor said to me, we are not perfect, but we try to be. I completely agree on that. Mistakes happen. No reason for unessecary rudeness. Have a nice day!

Dr. Boyer and staff are very friendly and professional. Really nice office with a wide variety of frames/​glasses to choose from. I had a great experience and plan on going back for years to come.

I have to say. I have never met someone as nice as Oscar, not sure what he does in particular. But he helped me through a process of purchasing new frames and having the lens put into something I wanted. He was so patient and extremely friendly ! He deserves that acknowledgment. Very welcoming. On the other hand. The receptionist isn’t so friendly or welcoming; which I think should be communicated to her. Dr. Boyer too was also nice and communicative about what they offered !

First time at this office … Really enjoyed the exam all the staff was friendly. They fixed both of my glasses at no cost. Very busy office with awesome ac.

So friendly, helpful, and minimal wait time.

I decided to check this place out after I was sick of my bloodshot eyes and my eye doctor not having any solution and seemingly never getting any wiser.
My mother has been telling me to check out this place for years! But my mother had Lasik over a decade ago. back when real lasers weren’t even being used, so her need of an eye doctor was slim and I wasn’t so sure this place could help my intense blindness.
The whole place is clean, friendly staff, and quick response time. I wasn’t in the waiting area long. The Doc is very quick and efficient. I went in 4 times in a ten day span. The first to check my eyes out because i needed to reorder contacts. He said it looked like my eye was scratched and gave me some drops (free!) to use then I came in the 2^nd time a few days later. He gave me 5 samples of contacts to try. 3^rd time came in to follow up on my contact use. I also bought sunglasses while I was there and ordered contacts. They knocked 10% of the price of the sunglasses off. 4^th time I came in to pick up my contacts. Also, I only paid for the initial service. Every follow up appt was covered under it. :)
I’m pretty stoked on my service. :)

Ken Is my optometrist and he is the best. I’ve always enjoyed seeing ken theres never much of a wait. his staff is friendly and quick. nice people. and a nice doctor, what more can you ask for. I really can’t say more then he just makes you feel welcome and he always has a smile.
