This place works with special needs children and adults. We had an assessment done and they were wonderful with my daughter. They have a special saddle and use a ramp to make it easy transition on to the horse. They have a wonderful facility for the horses and other animals near the coast. Very peaceful for horse riding.

My daughter, who has a disability, did the one week overnight camp and loved it. The young staff and volunteers were wonderful. The front office, however, could be more organized. There was confusion over the drop-​off and pick-​up times. Photos were promised and never delivered.

My daughter loves coming here! She loves to ride Lizzie and Sophia. Anne and her staff are so wonderful! We adore all the volunteers who help out. Neville the dog is really friendly.

Very nice and large grounds very close to La Selva Beach (between Aptos and Watsonville, off San Andreas Road). The people are pretty nice too — are mostly volunteers. A fantastic place for challenged kids though there are other kids who ride or get lessons. I have been there many times over the years usually helping out. Anne is the owner and she has a huge heart. They have many good horses and an indoor place to train kids how to ride English style. Sometimes the kids take rides down to the beach! There are special events too — hay rides around Halloween. Christmas with Santa Claus, music, and fun for kids. They also have camps which the kids enjoy so much. This is a non-​profit charitable organization. It’s worth the drive even if you live in San Francisco.
Update May 2014 — they have really upgraded and expanded. Still 5 Stars!
