Aptos Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning

In the past I always rented a carpet cleaner at a local grocery store chain and did the job myself to save a few dollars, but after a recent move did not have the time or inclination to clean three bedrooms and one 9×12 area rug. Called nearby Aptos Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning on a Saturday morning and they were at my door in less than an hour. While that was certainly impressive their speed of response was not the primary reason I called them … and Jim did not disappoint. To be honest I wasn’t expecting much due to the dirt and stains, but the difference between the «before» and «after» is stunning. I am not exaggerating when I say the rugs look brand new. Not only is Jim a freaking magician when it comes to cleaning he is a source of knowledge on the care and maintenance of any type of rug. BTW, the last time we considered cleaning our hooked area rug the lowest local estimate we got over the phone was $ 300 and we would have had to transport the rug ourselves to downtown Santa Cruz. Not only did Jim come to our house but his fee was a fraction of that estimate. Bottom line: There is only one true Rug Doctor in Santa Cruz County and his name is Jim Morris. Highly recommended!

Jim & Mark are AWESOME! You don’t need to look any further for carpet/​upholstery cleaning! They are prompt, VERY friendly & did the BEST job we’ve EVER had done. I would highly recommend them & we’ll definitely use them again! If there was a 10+ rating, they would get it!

These guys are great! If you’re hunting on Unilocal for someone to clean your carpets, look no further.
They’re prompt, thorough, and do a fantastic job. Our carpets were shamefully dirty to the point where we considered replacing them instead of cleaning them… Jim brought them back from the dead and they look like new. They had to spend extra time on them, I’m pretty sure, but charged me nothing additional. Their pricing is more than reasonable.
Then they clean up and leave no trace. Highly recommend!

Aptos Carpet Cleaning is the best. We love these guys. Used them many times. Work miracles on our old light colored carpeting. Always friendly, always a great job and always at a great price. Jim and his son are very easy to work with and dependable. Time to call them again for carpet cleaning.

We are verry happy with the quality of service we received. Owner operated and local, Jim was prompt to return a message left for him (he left a daily message on his voicemail with the time he would return the call) and scheduling was quick and easy. The guys came and cleaned four rooms of carpet, one quite spotted with coffee and other spills. They were very thorough, removed stains, moved furniture easily and were very detailed. We are pleased with our nice, clean carpets!

Carpet was recently cleaned in Rio Del Mar and they did an excellent job. Money well spent. They gave what seemed more than fair price, agreed to certain parts of the job, and went beyond what was agreed to. They paid attention to detail and generally just seemed to care about doing it right. I would recommend them to friends and family certainly. And I made a point to come here on Unilocal to give them a review they more than earned.

When we moved into a rental house in Atpos, the carpets had not been cleaned, and there was a visible black trail running up the stairway.
Jim from Aptos Carpet Cleaning did an AMAZING job. His crew arrived on time; they were courteous and efficient, and the carpeting on the stairs looks practically new! I’m sensitive to chemicals and was very pleased that the carpets are clean and fresh, but without any deodorant or strong odors. I will definitely use them again!

Wow. I totally thought our floor was so filthy, we’d have to get new carpet. After a visit from these miracle workers, it looked brand new!

Amazing carpet cleaning and Jim has great customer service. I originally tried someone who did not have the van operated service, and it lasted maybe 2 days and could not compare to the updated van powered machine that Jim uses. My carpet was amazingly clean.

Jim was extremely professional. He was on time, careful with my furniture, and respectful of my time. He did a wonderful job and I couldn’t be happier!
